Essentially the government says it has the right to lease you everything you rightfully “own.”
Your land, your car, your home.
If I have the deed/title in my hand I shouldn’t be paying a tax to keep that deed/title.
The government didn’t help me with the down payment, they haven’t made any payment, they haven’t done any upkeep … why should they have any right to tax me repeatedly for something I own?

If he gets that tax rescinded, you better not stand there too long in the way with the rush of everyone moving to Florida! That is a movement that needs to start at every state. A unaccountable tax to state and county, just a big grift. It would put a hell of a damper on these cities and counties budget for frivolous building of fancy government buildings and sport stadiums and "cultural' centers." Also stop their pet projects and catering to developers. We built roads and sidewalks and utilities infrastructures without property taxes in the past.
ReplyDeleteYes sir, there were a huge amount of projects and cities and towns built before any tax was ever implemented in this country. I would love to see a curbing of all the projects that seem to be built with just one culture or one part of society in mind. He's facing a lot of opposition for his views on this from all the suspected moneygrubbers. He's already talking about maybe just lowering the taxes now. I'm sincerely hoping Trump will keep his word about no taxes on social security after retirement.
