Stephen Miller Calls Democrat Party An “Extremist Organization” …

Says “Evil” sanctuary city Mayors still defying ICE detainers and “Now they face potential criminal charges for harboring and smuggling.”

This comes after Boston Mayor Michelle Wu dared the Trump Administration to enforce federal law against her as she and other lawless democrats continue to defy ICE detainer requests and release illegal aliens back into their communities after arrests for various crimes.
Miller told Fox host Sean Hannity on Tuesday that Sanctuary Democrats “had a deadline to comply with federal law and hand over the criminal illegal aliens in their custody, the child rapist, the child predators, the drug traffickers, the human traffickers,” but they violated it. “The sanctuary cities like Boston refused to turn over these menacing threats to public safety, and so now they face not only revocation of funds, not only the loss of taxpayer support, but also potential criminal charges for harboring and smuggling,” he continued.
“This is as real as it gets, Sean.”

Miller also recently went off on California Governor Gavin Newsom and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, saying, “They are guilty of crimes against humanity for their facilitating child trafficking and sex trafficking. They think this is a game. They think this is a joke. This is life and death!”
Previously, Miller has said that sanctuary city and state leaders are violating 8 U.S. Code § 1324, which carries penalties of prison time for anybody who “brings to or attempts to bring to the United States,” “moves or attempts to transport or move” a known illegal alien, or who “conceals, harbors, or shields from detection, or attempts to conceal, harbor, or shield from detection” known illegal aliens.
Miller told The Gateway Pundit in April that “These cities are engaged in systemic criminal violations and that they are engaged in a scheme to nullify and obstruct the duly enacted laws of the United States of America.”

The level of criminality “defies our ability to even catalog it,” he said.

Sanctuary Democrats have been defying ICE by illegally shielding, harboring, and concealing illegal aliens since Trump took office. Are we finally going to see arrests for these criminals?

The Trump administration is “actively” considering suspending habeas corpus as it seeks to continue its mass deportation efforts that are being hindered by federal judges.
White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller said on Friday that the Constitution makes it “clear” that the writ of habeas corpus, which allows a person to petition a court to review the legality of their detention, can be “suspended in a time of invasion.”

Multiple federal judges have stopped Trump from carrying out his deportation agenda by blocking the administration’s use of the Alien Enemies Act. The Trump administration was using the 1798 Alien Enemies Act to quickly deport Venezuelan illegal immigrants that it said were violent criminals and gang members. The president blasted “activist judges” on Wednesday, calling on them to allow the deportation of “murderers, and other criminals who have come into our Country illegally, WITHOUT DELAY!!!
“Our Court System is not letting me do the job I was Elected to do,” Trump added.
Miller also argued on Friday that the Immigration and Nationality Act, which was passed by Congress in 1965, strips the judicial branch’s jurisdiction “from overruling a presidential determination or a secretarial determination on TPS [temporary protected status].”
“So when Secretary [Kristi] Noem terminated TPS for the illegals that Biden flew into the country, when the courts stepped in, they were violating explicit language that Congress had enacted. … So the courts aren’t just at war with the executive branch, the courts are at war — these radical, rogue judges — with the legislative branch as well. So all of that will inform the choices the president ultimately makes,” Miller said.
If the White House attempts to suspend habeas corpus by arguing that the United States is being invaded, the move would likely be challenged, creating another battle between the courts and the president. Habeas corpus has been suspended four times throughout U.S. history. The first time was during the Civil War, and then again during Reconstruction while the federal government was going after the Ku Klux Klan. It was also suspended in the Philippines in 1905 during an insurrection and in Hawaii after the attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941.
Trump rebuffed an order from Judge James Boasberg on March 15 after the judge said the administration must return deportation flights carrying Venezuelans to El Salvador. The deportation fight eventually made its way up to the Supreme Court, which blocked Trump from deporting suspected Tren de Aragua gang members under the Alien Enemies Act “until further order of this Court.”

Stephen Miller’s America First Legal Drops Bombshell Lawsuit Against Chief Justice John Roberts Jr.,

In his capacity as Presiding Officer of the Judicial Conference of the United States, and Robert J. Conrad, Director of the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts.

The lawsuit accuses the powerful duo of running what AFL describes as an “unconstitutional shadow agency” and violating federal transparency laws.
The lawsuit, filed on April 22, slams the Judicial Conference of the United States and its administrative arm—both overseen by Chief Justice Roberts—as rogue “executive agencies” that have collaborated with far-left lawmakers to wage lawfare against conservative Supreme Court justices.

“For several years, the media and enterprising lawmakers have launched an onslaught to destroy the impartiality and political neutrality of Article III courts and, particularly, the Supreme Court. Justices Thomas, Alito, and Kavanaugh have all faced political and physical threats because of the politicization and weaponization of the law.
This lawfare has been led by Senator Sheldon Whitehouse and Representative Hank Johnson, relying upon an ideologically favorable legacy media to falsely accuse Justices Thomas and Alito of ethical improprieties. Their aim was simple: to chill the judicial independence of these Supreme Court Justices.”

According to the explosive complaint, the Judicial Conference and the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts — long presumed exempt from the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) — have functioned more like executive agencies rather than neutral arms of the judiciary.
AFL argues that these entities must comply with FOIA because they exercise “executive powers,” including responding to congressional oversight and issuing binding regulations — all under the direction of Roberts himself.
AFL’s lawsuit stems from its FOIA requests for communications between these agencies and Whitehouse and Johnson, two of the most vocal Democrat crusaders against conservative justices.

After the agencies flatly denied the requests, claiming FOIA doesn’t apply to them, AFL took them to court.

To replace Mike Waltz as Trump's National Security Advisor.
Tim Waltz abruptly left the position on Thursday. Initially, there was speculation that it was tied to "Signalgate," after it was revealed that Trump administration officials used the Signal app to discuss sensitive military operations and that a journalist was mistakenly added to a private group chat. But Trump then announced he was nominating Waltz to serve as UN Ambassador.
According to Axios, five sources familiar with the situation told the outlet that Miller was likely to get the job — if he wants it. More on that in a bit.
One of the sources (in the White House) told Axios that Miller has made the Homeland Security Council run "like clockwork" and that the organization is "infinitely more effective than the NSC [National Security Council] with a tiny fraction" of previous staff.
The 39-year-old founder of America First Legal, a 501 nonprofit organization that prides itself in "fighting back against lawless executive actions and the radical left," is a fearless defender of the administration's legal push for immediate deportation of illegal aliens without court hearings.
Anyway, Miller, who served as a senior advisor in Trump's first administration, is an intellectual near-robotic beast — I say that as a compliment — who doesn't suffer fools gladly, and would likely be an ideal fit as National Security Advisor. According to one of the sources, per Axios, Miller works well with Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
While one source said Miller suggested he was interested in the job Thursday, another source told Axios that he might not take the job "if it takes him away from his true love: immigration policy."
Not quite "palace intrigue," but given the strong — some would say unprecedented — team put together by Trump, this go-around, it's hard to imagine that things won't work out, one way or another, to everyone's advantage, not only in the Trump administration but for the American people, as well.

Trump Advisor Warns 249 ‘Sanctuary City’ Officials

That they can go to prison for interfering with immigration enforcement.

President-elect Donald Trump’s incoming deputy chief of staff for policy, Stephen Miller of America First Legal, has sent warning letters to 249 “Sanctuary City” officials that they could face criminal charges for interfering with immigration enforcement under the new administration.
California Attorney General Rob Bonta, Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, and Los Angeles Police Department Chief Jim McDonnell are among those who received letters.
The letter explained:
Federal law imposes serious consequences for obstructing the execution of federal immigration law. So-called “sanctuary” jurisdictions that forbid compliance with federal immigration law and cooperation with the officials who enforce it are, therefore, breaking the law. Moreover, sanctuary jurisdictions are strictly prohibited from requiring their employees to violate federal immigration law.
We have identified your jurisdiction as a sanctuary jurisdiction that is violating federal law. Such lawlessness subjects you and your subordinates to significant risk of criminal and civil liability. Accordingly, we are sending this letter to put you on notice of this risk and insist that you comply with our nation’s laws.
The importance of this issue is not just abstract or hypothetical. According to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), as of September 25, 2024, there were 425,431 convicted criminals in the United States who were illegal aliens with final orders of removal entered against them and who were not currently being detained. Additionally, there were 222,141 non-detained illegal aliens in the United States with final orders of removal who had criminal charges pending against them. This adds up to 647,572 illegal aliens. According to Acting ICE Director Patrick J. Lechleitner, one of the reasons for this high number of criminal aliens who are free from detention is that “‘sanctuary’ policies can end up shielding dangerous criminals, who often victimize those same [immigrant] communities.”

In a press release about the notices, America First Legal said, “responding to crimes committed by illegal aliens against women and children, AFL filed a petition with the Department of Justice Office on Violence Against Women (OVW) asking that OVW publicly report monthly on its website the citizenship status and nationality of every person charged with child maltreatment, dating violence, domestic violence, female genital mutilation or cutting, sexual assault, stalking, and/or technological abuse, murder, and/or other violent incidents committed against a minor or adult biological female.”

The organization noted that violating the law and helping illegal aliens circumvent the law could land you 20 years in prison.

Because sanctuary jurisdictions’ laws usually require multiple officials to coordinate their activities, all officials involved are liable under multiple federal criminal conspiracy statutes. Therefore, employees working for an official implementing sanctuary policies may be at risk, even if they do not directly conceal, harbor, or shield an alien. Additionally, it is a crime carrying a penalty of up to 20 years’ imprisonment for anyone who “knowingly … engages in misleading conduct toward another person, with intent to … cause or induce any person to … be absent from an official proceeding to which such person has been summoned by legal process” or to “hinder, delay, or prevent the communication to a law enforcement officer or judge of the United States.””
Trump’s border czar, Tom Homan, also appeared on Fox News and warned the officials that to “knowingly conceal or harbor an illegal alien” is a felony.

Trump To Appoint Immigration Hawk Stephen Miller As Deputy Chief Of Staff For Policy

President-elect Donald Trump is expected to announce the appointment of former policy adviser and America First Legal president Stephen Miller as White House deputy chief of staff for policy. Vice President-elect JD Vance confirmed this announcement.
Miller was a lightning rod for immigration policy in the Trump 1.0 White House and was involved in just about every major action, starting with the "Muslim ban." He earned the distinction of having the Southern Poverty Law Center label him an extremist. That honor did not have the desired effect:

According to The Daily Beast, seven "senior Trump administration officials with knowledge of Miller's standing with the president and top staffers have all individually told The Daily Beast that the story did not endanger Miller's position, or change Trump's favorable view of him. Two of them literally laughed at the mere suggestion that the Hatewatch exposé could have toppled or hobbled the top Trump adviser."

Bringing Miller back makes two points. First, Trump is dead serious about reducing the social, national security, and economic scourge of illegal immigration. Second, he is in "honey badger" mode; he knows the criticism Miller will attract and doesn't care.

Florida defamation bill dead in the Senate after conservative backlash.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – A piece of Florida legislation that would’ve revised laws surrounding defamation lawsuits is dead for this legislative session, Florida’s Voice has learned.
A spokesperson for Florida Senate President Kathleen Passidomo’s office told Florida’s Voice that the Senate has no plans to take up HB 757 for procedural reasons.
The bill was brought by Rep. Alex Andrade, R-Pensacola, and was poised for a House floor vote after final committee passage last week.
It would have assumed media outlets engaged in “actual malice” if they publish false statements given to them by anonymous sources, for the purpose of defamation cases.
The Senate bill, SB 1780, failed to make enough progress through its assigned committees.
Even if the House passed the bill and senate it to the Senate, there would not be a committee meeting to consider it, the spokeswoman said.
Top conservative personalities come out against GOP-backed Florida defamation bill.
Former senior advisor to President Donald Trump, Stephen Miller, is among those prominent in conservative circles to voice opposition to the bill.
“If Florida passes the proposed law to lower the standard for defamation expect leftist’ plaintiffs lawyers to spend the next generation bankrupting every prominent conservative based in Florida,” he said. “If you want to go after corporate media then pass a law narrowly tailored at them.”
LibsofTikTok is another prominent voice who came out against the bill, an account run by Chaya Raichik with nearly three million followers.
“This bill is one of the most dangerous pieces of legislation. It will basically severely restrict free speech in the state of Florida,” LibsofTikTok said. “If you live in Florida, please reach out to your local state rep and senator and oppose HB 757.”
Jack Posobiec, the senior editor of Human Events and who has over two million followers, additionally called out the bill.
“This will be used against every influencer in the state of Florida,” Posobiec said. “They’re already going after @ChayaRaichik10.”
Fox radio host Trey Radel is another conservative personality to express strong opposition and concern for the proposal, urging Gov. Ron DeSantis and legislative leadership “kill this bill.”
Talk show host Dan Bongino, who has over five million followers, reposted Radel’s post calling for opposition to the legislation.
“While certain Republicans may think that they’re going to be suing and taking on The New York Times and The Washington Post, here’s the breaking news: liberal trial lawyers are going to have a field day with center-right media in the state of Florida,” Radel said to Fox News Digital. “Signing this into law will destroy conservative media in this state.”
Andrade pushed a similar bill last year, but it ultimately never passed.
Owner of 92.5 FOX News said last year that the station would need to shut down conservative talk because it would “expose our on-air talent and stations” to a string of defamation and false light lawsuits.
“This bill effectively neutering our Conservative News/Talk radio station in Southwest Florida, 92.5 FOX News, from which most of you have benefited,” station owner James Schwartzel said at the time.
