Representative Tim “Sarah” McBride Gets Called ‘Mister’ On The House Floor

And a Democrat lost his mind even though it is now the policy of the United States to recognize only two genders.

(As it is in real life. The clerk that changed the wording in the official Congressional Record should be fired immediately. They knew what they were doing.)

Rep. Sarah McBride (D-DE), the first openly trans-identifying member of Congress, was once again called “mister” — a move that elicited an irate response from a fellow Democrat.
It happened Tuesday during a hearing of the House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on Europe, when Chairman Keith Self (R-TX) called on McBride to speak.
“I now recognize the representative from Delaware, Mr. McBride,” Self said.

McBride responded, “Thank you, Madam chair.”
Before McBride could get much further, ranking member Bill Keating (D-MA) cut in and said, “Mr. Chairman, could you repeat your introduction again, please?”
Keating cited an exchange last month in which Rep. Mary Miller (R-IL), who was presiding over the House chamber at the time, recognized “the gentleman from Delaware, Mr. McBride” to deliver remarks.
“We’ve set the standard on the floor of the House and I’m simply —” Self said.
Keating interjected and asked, “What is that standard, Mr. Chairman? Would you repeat what you just said when you introduced a duly-elected representative from the United States of America? Please!”
In reply, Self said, “I will: The representative from Delaware, Mr. McBride.”
Keating then accused Self of being out of order.
“Mr. Chairman, have you no decency? I’ve come to know you a little bit, but this is not decent,” Keating added.
When Self began to say that the hearing would continue, Keating again interrupted to shout, “You will not continue it with me unless you introduce a duly-elected representative the right way.”
After that, Self banged a gavel and announced the hearing was adjourned.
Self responded to a clip of the confrontation on X by pulling a line from one of President Donald Trump’s executive orders, saying, “It is the policy of the United States to recognize two sexes, male and female.”
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) recently declared in a post on X that the House clerk “changed” Miller’s words in the Congressional Record to show Miller referring to McBride as “gentlewoman” and “Ms.” in the chamber last month when, in fact, that did not happen.

“McBride is a MAN!!! No one should change Rep Miller’s words!!! Are we not Republican controlled?????” Greene said.
Miller later announced that the House clerk “rightfully corrected” her words.

“Let the record show that Tim ‘Sarah’ McBride is, in fact, a MAN!” Miller said. “Thank you, [Greene], for standing alongside me in the fight to uphold biological reality!”

 On This Date In History

On December 7, 1787, in Dover, Delaware, the U.S. Constitution is unanimously ratified by all 30 delegates to the Delaware Constitutional Convention, making Delaware the first state of the modern United States.
Less than four months before, the Constitution was signed by 37 of the original 55 delegates to the Constitutional Convention meeting in Philadelphia. The Constitution was sent to the states for ratification, and, by the terms of the document, the Constitution would become binding once nine of the former 13 colonies had ratified the document. Delaware led the process, and on June 21, 1788, New Hampshire became the ninth state to ratify the Constitution, making federal democracy the law of the land. Government under the U.S. Constitution took effect on March 4, 1789.

On December 7, 1805, having spied the Pacific Ocean for the first time a few weeks earlier, Meriwether Lewis and William Clark cross to the south shore of the Columbia River (near modern-day Astoria) and begin building the small fort that would be their winter home.
Lewis, Clark, and their men deserved a rest. During the past year, they had made the difficult trip from the upper Missouri River across the rugged Rockies, and down the Columbia River to the ocean. Though they planned to return home by retracing their steps in the spring, the Corps of Discovery settled in the relatively mild climate of the Pacific Coast while winter raged in the mountain highlands.
For their fort, Lewis and Clark picked a site three miles up Netul Creek (now Lewis and Clark River), because it had a ready supply of elk and deer and convenient access to the ocean, which the men used to make salt. The men finished building a small log fortress by Christmas Eve; they named their new home Fort Clatsop, in honor of the local Indian tribe.
During the three months they spent at Fort Clatsop, Lewis and Clark reworked their journals and began preparing the scientific information they had gathered. Clark labored long hours drawing meticulous maps that proved to be among the most valuable fruits of the expedition. After talking with local Native Americans, the two men determined that they had taken an unnecessarily difficult path through the Rockies, and planned alternate routes for the return journey. Meanwhile, the enlisted men and fellow travelers hunted and trapped, they killed and ate more than 100 elk and 20 deer during their stay.
While the stay at Fort Clatsop was peaceful, it was not entirely pleasant. The expedition party rapidly depleted  its supply of gifts and trading goods. Most vexing was the damp coastal weather, rain fell all but twelve days of the expedition’s three-month stay. The men found it impossible to keep dry, and their damp furs and hides rotted and became infested with vermin. Nearly everyone suffered from persistent colds and rheumatism.
The expedition departed for home from soggy Fort Clatsop on March 23, 1806. The region they explored later became the state of Oregon, Lewis and Clark’s journey strengthened the American claim to the northwest and blazed a trail that was followed by thousands of trappers and settlers.

Jill Biden’s Ex-Husband Says ‘Very Dangerous’ Biden ‘Crime Family’ Has Targeted Him.

Bill Stevenson, the ex-husband of first lady Jill Biden, said Wednesday on Newsmax that he has been a target of the “very dangerous … Biden crime family.”
Stevenson discussed his divorce from the first lady, alleging that he was the victim of a shakedown by the Biden family.
“Frankie Biden of the Biden crime family comes up to me and he goes, ‘Give her the house or you’re going to have serious problems.’ I looked at Frankie and I said, ‘Are you threatening me?’ and needless to say, about two months later, my brother and I were indicted for that tax charge for $8,200.”
“Delaware is a small state,” host Greg Kelly said, “Joe Biden is like the prince of Delaware in a way, right? Very powerful. You think that he essentially ordered this?”
“I not only think it, but I know it,” Stevenson said, adding that he “could not believe the power of Joe Biden and the Department of Justice. I couldn’t believe it.”
Stevenson also alleged that Biden is using the same tactics against former President Donald Trump.
“It’s hard to believe what they’re doing to President Trump right now, and that’s why I came to you. He is doing the exact same thing,” Stevenson said.
“I was on the wrong side of them, and they have literally come after me for 35 years in a row. One little thing after another,” he claimed. “I can’t let them do this to a president that I love and respect. I can’t let them do this to our country. This is why I’ve come forward. This is the only reason I’ve come forward. It’s like I said, nothing about the divorce, no bitterness, but Jimmy, Frankie and President Biden are very dangerous, and it’s tragic. I can’t let them do what they did to me to President Trump. I can’t do it.”
