NY Driving School Rigged Licenses For Illegal Aliens

Even if they couldn’t drive. Investigators expect they’ve only uncovered the “tip of the iceberg” after Operation Road Test exposed a New York City scheme to get illegal aliens driver’s licenses.
As the downward spiral of Gotham continues, many are still hard at work upholding the law, and on Tuesday, that included announcing an indictment of 14 individuals alleged to have participated in a pay-to-drive scheme. Staten Island District Attorney Michael McMahon detailed during a press conference Tuesday that “hundreds if not thousands of people” may have illegally obtained licenses through T&E Driving School in Queens.

“The numbers, as we go through this investigation, as we go through the materials that have been seized, we think that we are going to find hundreds if not thousands of people that have been part of this scam,” he explained of the scheme uncovered by a team that included his office, Homeland Security Investigations’ (HSI) New York field office and the U.S. Postal Inspection Service.
The school was said to be paying off Department of Motor Vehicle employees from the money provided by Chinese nationals, which ranged between $1,600 and $2,000 per license.
“Our investigation found that T&E Driving School blatantly flouted the laws and procedures that are necessary to ensure the public safety on the road,” HSI Assistant Special Agent in Charge George Ioannidis said during the press conference. “As alleged, T&E utilized social media and strategic advertising to Target exploited members of the Chinese community and guaranteed individual driver’s licenses regardless of their immigration status, language, and even their ability to operate a vehicle.”
“Moreover these individuals were often those who did not speak or understand English and may have believed that they were all taking necessary, legitimate steps,” he added as the indictment named T&E owner Weixian Tan, secretary Weiwen Tan, road test driver Wenfeng Yang and employee Winnie Yang as well as DMV examiners Tianna Rose Andolina, Aji Idicula and Edward Tarik Queen and seven others.
It was explained during the press conference that, in order to expose the alleged scheme, an undercover NYPD officer paid the school $1,600 and was later informed that he had passed the test he had never taken.

“The number of tests given by an individual examiner can be about 1,500 a year,” detailed McMahon while suggesting the extent of the operation. “Two out of the three examiners have been working for four or five years, so we think this is just the tip of the iceberg.”
“Countless individuals are now driving on our roads without ever having demonstrated the basic skills necessary to do so safely,” the DA’s office added in a social media post as efforts were underway to revoke the privileges of those who may have benefited from the alleged operation.
As for those indicted, charges include fraud, tampering, and theft.

Two Florida DMV Employees Among 8 Arrested

In Florida Scheme to sell fraudulent drivers’ licenses to criminal invaders.
Two DMV employees are among eight individuals arrested in Bay County for involvement in a fraudulent driver’s license ring—issuing official state licenses to illegal aliens in exchange for cash, in clear defiance of state law.
The Bay County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO), in conjunction with Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), began investigating in mid‑May after noticing suspicious spikes in license issuance at the Bay County Tax Collector’s office, according to CDL Life.
Bay County Sheriff Tommy Ford announced today at a press conference the results of a joint investigation with partner agencies which resulted in eight arrests and the seizure of $120,000 in illicit proceeds. The investigation is ongoing and additional charges and arrests are expected.
During the investigation, BCSO investigators learned that two employees were indeed issuing a unusually large number of drivers licenses and, when in-house video at the DMV was reviewed, investigators confirmed the individuals receiving the licenses were bypassing the required tests necessary to lawfully receive a license. These individuals were coming from across the state of Florida to Bay County to receive the drivers’ licenses.
The two employees have been arrested. They are Bancelie Velazco, age 37, of Panama City, and Demetrius Smith, II, age 30, of Panama City. Velazco has been charged with nine counts of DMV Employee Issue Unlawful DL and nine counts of Official Misconduct.
Smith has been charged with eight counts of DMV Employee Issue Unlawful DL and eight counts of Official Misconduct. Approximately $120,000 in US currency was seized from the homes of the arrested employees as illicit proceeds.
It was also learned that the individuals coming to Velazco and Smith to obtain their DL were doing so through a third party operating as intermediaries and were paying Velazco and Smith either in person at the DMV or online through a cash app.
Financial records of Smith and Velazco were reviewed and it was learned that both of them were receiving suspicious cash app transactions and that Velazco was depositing a suspicious amount of cash into her accounts, inconsistent with her monthly salary.
Some of the intermediaries were not individuals but organizations like CubaMax, located in Callaway in Bay County. CubaMax is a company that processes immigration documents.
CubaMax acted as a referral source for those seeking to obtain drivers’ licenses fraudulently, directing them to the local DMV. A search warrant was executed at CubaMax to obtain evidence of this scheme.

Additional individuals identified as intermediaries in this operation have been arrested. They are:
Niurbis Rosales, age 37, of Panama City, on 24 counts of Principal: DMV Employee Issue Fraud DL and 24 counts Principal: Official Misconduct. She owned and operated CubaMax.
Leonardo Gutierrez,, age 32, of Panama City, on seven counts of Principal: DMV Employee Issue Fraud DL and seven counts Principal: Official Misconduct.
Hung Du, age58, of Panama City, on 36 counts Principal: DMV Employee Issue Fraud DL and 36 counts Principal: Official Misconduct.
Isbrieta Parra, age 44, of Panama City, on seven counts Principal: DMV Employee Issue Fraud DL and seven counts Principal: Official Misconduct.
Zoila Gonzalez-Pena, age 38, of Panama City, on 12 counts Principal: DMV Employee Issue Fraud DL and 12 counts Principal: Official Misconduct. She was an employee at CubaMax.

Florida bans gender identity from driver’s licenses.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Florida rescinded a rule that allowed residents to change their driver’s license gender notation to correspond with an “internal sense of gender role or identity,” according to a memo obtained by Florida’s Voice.
Rep. Anna Eskamani, D-Orlando, blew the whistle on the change this week.
“This is another gross example of how every state agency has been weaponizes to attack trans people. Instead of addressing the property insurance crisis, this is what our state is doing,” Eskamani said. “Shameful.”
Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles Deputy Director Robert Kynoch wrote to all state county tax collectors that licenses can no longer be reissued for the purpose of reflecting one’s gender identity, arguing that policy hampered “the state’s ability to enforce its laws.”
“Permitting an individual to alter his or her license to reflect an internal sense of gender role or identity, which is neither immutable nor objectively verifiable, undermines the purpose of an identification record,” the letter said.
The department wrote that replacement licenses are only allowed when it is lost, stolen, or if there are changes to the person’s name or address.
“The term ‘gender’ […] does not refer to a person’s internal sense of his or her gender role or identification,” it said. “[It] has historically and commonly been understood as a synonym for ‘sex,’ which is determined by innate and immutable biological and genetic characteristics.”
The letter said that keeping licensees’ classification in line with their immutable characteristics is important because of the license’s “critical role in assisting public and private entities in correctly establishing the identity of a person presenting the license.”
Bryan Griffin, press secretary for Gov. Ron DeSantis’ political team, called the action “the right move.”
“Government should not affirm radical, anti-truth ideologies like ‘gender fluidity,'” Griffin said.
Florida lawmakers are also considering legislation requiring biological sex on driver’s licenses.

Minnesota Begins Process For Issuing Driver’s Licenses to 81,000 Illegal Aliens.

Minnesota is set to give about 81,000 illegal aliens driver’s licenses. Applicants are now allowed to start the process but won’t be able to officially apply until the new law goes into effect on October 1st.
The new law dubbed “Driver’s License For All,” opens up the door for voter fraud since all a person needs to register to vote online is a Minnesota driver’s license.
Fox News reports:
People living in Minnesota without legal immigration status can now begin the process of getting their driver’s license by making an appointment for their written driver’s test, state officials announced at a news conference Thursday.
Around 81,000 people are expected to be eligible under the state’s new law — dubbed “Driver’s License for All.” They can now make appointments to apply but won’t be able to actually get a license until the law goes into effect Oct. 1.
“We’re incredibly proud to be a part of a handful of states that offer driver’s license for all,” said Pong Xiong, Driver and Vehicle Services Director at the Minnesota Department of Public Safety, at the news conference. “And the first step to getting your driver’s license is to pass that written test.”
The new law removes the requirements for applicants to show legal presence, said Jody-Kay Peterson, the department’s Driver Services Program Director.
Proponents of the new law claim it will make the roads safer because more drivers will be licensed, but the opponents say that it will encourage more illegal immigration. The driver services program director Jody-Kay Peterson even said the department will not help any immigration law enforcement regarding potential deportations. So basically they want to encourage people to break the law and cover for them.
This is not surprising for a state that is run by leftist extremists. It’s also a reflection of the National problem we are having at the Southern Border. Millions of illegals have flooded our country and many are being treated better than some of our citizens.
The economic impact of illegal immigration is catastrophic for the American taxpayer. According to a new study from the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR), illegal immigration costs American taxpayers at least $151 billion each year.
The study assesses things like education, welfare, medical costs, and justice enforcement at both the federal and state level to arrive at the staggering sum. Individual American taxpayers are paying almost $1,200 per year EACH to finance the illegal crisis.
Border communities, besieged by Biden’s broken border policies and abandoned by the federal government, are facing an even greater burden.

Friday, a commonsense law passed by the Florida legislature that ends recognition of driver’s licenses issued to illegal aliens by other states went into effect.
This law is part of a package of laws passed by the Florida legislature that was enacted as a reaction to Joe Biden’s refusal to react to the illegal immigration crisis at the US-Mexico border. The bill, known as SB1718, in addition to the driver’s license provisions, imposes penalties on businesses that knowingly hire illegals and requires hospitals that accept Medicaid (edited) to ask about citizenship status. The bill also allocates $12 million to transport illegals to other, more welcoming states despite the bizarre “kidnapping” allegations hurled at him by the left.
Currently, 18 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico issue driver’s licenses to illegal aliens.

    1.    California
    2.    Colorado
    3.    Connecticut
    4.    Delaware
    5.    Hawaii
    6.    Illinois
    7.    Maryland
    8.    Massachusetts
    9.    Minnesota
    10.    Nevada
    11.    New Jersey
    12.    New Mexico
    13.    New York
    14.    Oregon
    15.    Utah
    16.    Vermont
    17.    Virginia
    18.    Washington

Most states — I think it is accurate to say “all,” but I’ll stick with “most” — that issue driver’s licenses to illegals do not necessarily require a driving test. They just require some sort of proof that the person was allowed to drive in whatever country they are absconding from.
