Derek Dooley Enters Georgia Senate Race As Republican

Former University of Tennessee football coach Derek Dooley threw his hat in the ring as a Georgia GOP senatorial candidate for 2026 on Monday.
Dooley, 57, the son of famed University of Georgia football coach Vince Dooley, obtained his law degree from the University of Georgia and briefly practiced law before turning to football, where he became head coach at Louisiana Tech, then Tennessee before serving as an assistant coach with the Dallas Cowboys, the University of Missouri, the New York Giants and the University of Alabama.
Dooley’s chief rival for the GOP senatorial nod is Congressman Mike Collins, who has gained endorsements from various Republicans, including former House Speaker Newt Gingrich. (Which should help you make your decision.)

Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody To Take Marco Rubio's Senate Seat

ORLANDO, Fla. – Gov. Ron DeSantis announced Attorney General Ashley Moody as the next U.S. senator from Florida on Thursday, replacing outgoing Sen. Marco Rubio.
DeSantis reiterated that Republicans in Congress must support President-elect Donald Trump’s agenda and “restore basic American principles.”
He said that his prime criteria for the appointment was someone who would work with Trump, vote against excessive spending and cut spending, who “understands” the troubling expansion of federal bureaucracy, and who supports intense measures to crack down on both illegal and legal immigration.
DeSantis said his “final criteria” was someone with a “demonstrated record” on those issues.
The governor went on a long list of Moody’s actions as attorney general and her opposition to left-wing stances on issues over the years.

I'm Gonna Go Ahead And Call The PA Senate Race

Well, yesterday, PA announced that there would be a recount in the Senate race but now I see on Daily Wire Election Hub that they have called the race for McCormick. From what I have heard, if all the remaining votes were for Casey, he still couldn't win so the outcome is another seat for the Republicans. That makes the final balance 53 / 47.

Pennsylvania Senate Race Triggers Recount

McCormick is projected to win, Casey yet to concede.
Pennsylvania officials announced Wednesday that the tight margin in the Senate race between Sen. Bob Casey, D-Pennsylvania and Republican Sen.-elect Dave McCormick has triggered an automatic recount under Pennsylvania law.
AP called McCormick as the winner on Nov. 7, and McCormick has since attended new-senator orientation in Washington. Despite Casey not conceding, Republicans are projected to have the Senate majority, with 53 seats to Democrats' 47.
With 99% reporting as of Thursday morning, McCormick had 3,383,676 votes, or 48.91%, compared to Casey’s 3,357,191, or 48.52%, a difference of 26,485 votes, or 0.39 percentage points.*
Once counties finish counting their ballots, they must begin the recount no later than Wednesday, Nov. 20, and the recount must be completed by noon on Nov. 26.

* The numbers below are from Daily Wire Election Hub 11.14.24 - 10:46 ET

Republican Senate And House Seats Remaining

This is the present status of the Pennsylvania Senate Race:

Casey still hasn't conceded.

These are the three remaining House seats that the Republicans should take granted they can keep the cheating to a minimum.

Democrats Take Arizona Senate Seat

AZ has finally been called. Another Democrat win. Still waiting on PA although it's pretty sure win for Republicans, McCormick has been in the lead for several days, but Casey won't concede.

U.S. Senate - 2024

The Pennsylvania Senate race has been called by all the major media and the McCormick campaign but the Casey campaign has refused to concede so this map still has that race open. If you count the PA race as a Republican win that makes the tally right now Republicans - 53 / Democrats - 46. All the MSM is calling the AZ race a win for Gallego (D) but it's not officially over yet.

BREAKING: Senate overwhelmingly approves TikTok bill.

(I don’t really know if this means anything. I don’t use TikTok and I think it’s just another tool for child trafficking and other sordid abuses.)
The Senate has just passed the bill which would force TikTok to divest from the Chinese Communist Party.
They passed it 79-18.

Newsom’s ‘First Black Lesbian’ Senate Appointee immediately hit with ‘scandal,’ the cover-up is underway.

(Don’t kid yourself, she’s a Democrat, scandals roll off their scaly backs. They don’t even sweat it. They’re erasing the evidence as we speak … and then it’ll be over.)
Newsom appointed Laphonza Butler, whose only qualifications appear to be working on Kamala Harris' failed 2020 presidential campaign while being a "black lesbian." Naturally, the California governor is touting the latter.
Democrats select the most powerful people in the country based on race and who they sleep with. I mean, what could possibly go wrong with such an approach? What does merit have to do with governing competently anyway?
Let's ask Newsom, who apparently appointed a Maryland resident to the seat, birthing an immediate scandal.
In regards to Butler, the cover-up has already begun in earnest. EMILY's List, the rabid pro-abortion organization she worked for, scrubbed her listed residency in Maryland overnight.
(They’ve also scrubbed her Wikipedia, Linkdin, and Twitter accounts. History being rewritten as we watch. It’s handy when your party affiliation just changes the rules as needed. According to her wiki page, she’s been living in CA since 2009.)
Being a homeowner in a state does not make one a resident of that state. Given that she's not even registered to vote in California, it's fairly obvious that she does not live there and has no formal residency there. Where does she pay taxes? What state is her driver's license from? Has she claimed California residency in the last two years?
Remember the constant jabs that Mehmet Oz got from the press for previously living in New Jersey? He was actually a resident of Pennsylvania when he ran for the Senate there, and he still got lambasted on a near-daily basis. Will Butler get the same treatment? Of course, she won't, because it's (D)ifferent.

Imagine the destruction that will be unleashed on this country if Gavin Newsome is elected President ...

California Governor Gavin Newsom will reportedly appoint Laphonza Butler, the president of far-left EMILY’s List, to replace Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) in the U.S. Senate after Feinstein passed away last week. He made the appointment noting that it comes “without putting limitations or preconditions on his pick running for the seat in 2024.” This means that Butler can join the existing field of contenders for the party’s nominee in 2024.
(He just appointed a Liberal Black lesbian to fill Feinstein's seat. And the only reason he did appoint her is because her qualifications for the job are that she's a liberal black lesbian. And apparently, to Democrats, actual job experience and actual qualifications for the job are overridden by identity politics.)
Butler has also worked as a senior adviser to Vice President Kamala Harris and was the president of the largest labor union in California representing more than 325,000 nursing home and home-care workers throughout the state.
Journalists online noted that Butler listed her state of residence on her X account as Maryland.
“FEC filings from EMILY’s List record Laphonza Butler’s residence as Silver Springs, Maryland as recently as 31 days ago,” said FEC analyst Rob Pyers. “FPPC and FEC filings indicate that soon-to-be California Senator Laphonza Butler hasn’t been a resident of the state for over two years.”
Pyers noted that EMILY’s List was already cleaning up their website to hide where Butler allegedly lives. The organization removed the following line from their website: “She lives in Maryland with her partner Neneki Lee and their daughter Nylah.”
EMILY’s List is a political action committee that helps elect pro-abortion activists to political offices across the country.
The other current contenders for the 2024 include Democrat Reps. Katie Porter, Adam Schiff and Barbara Lee.
Various reports published on Sunday, before Newsom’s selection was revealed, indicated that Feinstein’s replacement was expected to be sworn in this week.
“This means that California will not only get a Black woman Senator but also its first openly lesbian Senator,” noted journalist Yashar Ali. “Laphonza will be the second lesbian to serve in the Senate.”

Senate Forces Fetterman to Wear Big Boy Pants, Passing a Formal Dress Code.

Our seemingly long national nightmare is over: Sen. John Fetterman (D-Pa.) will no longer be able to dress like a homeless crackhead at work.
After Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) made a unilateral decision to relax the unwritten dress code to accommodate Pennsylvania’s most notorious outpatient, his colleagues decided to get it in writing.
CBSNews.com:
“The U.S. Senate has passed a resolution formalizing business attire as the proper dress code for the floor of the chamber by unanimous consent.
This comes after Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer chose to stop enforcing the unwritten requirement, and Democratic Sen. John Fetterman’s casual dress became a flashpoint in the Capitol.
The bipartisan bill from Democratic Sen. Joe Manchin of West Virginia and Utah Republican Sen. Mitt Romney requires that members abide by a real dress code – rather than an unwritten custom – when on the Senate floor, that includes a coat, tie, and slacks for men.
“Though we’ve never had an official dress code, the events over the past week have made us all feel as though formalizing one is the right path forward,” Schumer said. “I deeply appreciate Senator Fetterman working with me to come to an agreement that we all find acceptable, and of course I appreciate Sen. Manchin and Sen. Romney’s leadership on this issue.””
Savor the moment, my fellow Americans, this may be the last reach-across-the-aisle, Kumbaya vote we see on either side of Capitol Hill for a while.
Schumer is acting as if he’s happy with how everything went, but this was a pretty swift and stinging rebuke to his solo overreach. A good friend of mine who works in the Senate told me last weekend that, “Everyone hates this.”
The youngest member of the United States Senate Convalescent Home™, Fetterman has been playing the sympathy card in order to have the rules bent for him almost from the moment he was sworn in last January. He’s gotten away with it thus far because the Democrats are so desperate to hang onto their one-vote majority. It’s probably a safe bet that a lot of them were never OK with his antics, and now they’re on record.
John Fetterman is a national embarrassment.
There is no word yet on whether the Senate will designate someone to tie Fetterman’s ties for him.
