Kamala Harris publicly agrees with protestor accusing Israel of genocide: ‘What he’s talking about, it’s real’
Vice President Harris publicly agreed with a protestor this week who interrupted her to accuse Israel of committing “genocide.”
The moment went down during a campaign stop Thursday at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, when a pro-Hamas UWM student began yelling out while the Democratic presidential nominee was speaking, video of the exchange showed.
“I am so invested in you all, in every way,” Harris can be heard saying as the interruption began.
“And in genocide right?” the heckler said.
Someone off-camera can be heard whispering “shut up,” but the outburst continued.
“I’m speaking right now,” Harris said before launching into her now well-worn response to similar interruptions.
“I know what you’re speaking of. I want the ceasefire. I want the war to end. And I respect your right to speak but I am speaking right now.”
“But what about the genocide? What about the genocide though?” the protestor, wearing a keffiyeh, yelled.
The man was then escorted out of the hall while yelling, “19,000 children are dead, and you won’t call it a genocide.”
In the silence that followed his exit, Harris turned back to the audience.
“Listen, what he’s talking about, it’s real. That’s not the subject that I came to discuss today, but it’s real and I respect his voice,” Harris said.

The vice president has never previously suggested that Israel’s defensive war in Gaza amounts to a genocide of Palestinian people.
“Kamala Harris just publicly validated the false and vicious accusation that Israel is engaging in genocide,” David Friedman, a former U.S. ambassador to Israel, told The Post Saturday.
“Many, including myself, always suspected that she held this warped, antisemitic view of Israel’s self-defense against Hamas barbarism. But the cat is now out of the bag,” he added.
“Her view is as ignorant as it is malign. … To give credence publicly to this disgusting blood libel disqualifies Harris from holding any public office, let alone the presidency,” he said.
Harris’ family has also been public about their sympathies.
Both Harris’ stepdaughter Ella Emhoff and niece Meena Harris, have raised cash for the Palestinian cause.
Ella Emhoff’s activism has included soliciting funds for the UN’s Palestinian relief agency, which the United States cut funding to over staffers’ potential involvement in the Oct. 7 attacks.
The incident comes as Harris has faced growing skepticism from Jewish voters, with poll after poll suggesting their support for the Democratic party is eroding.
Harris’ comments seemingly endorsing the position that Israel is committing genocide took place just one day after the country killed Hamas terror leader Yahya Sinwar.

 North Carolina Divests From Unilever, Parent Company Of Jew Hating Ben & Jerry’s.

If Unilever wants to let one of their companies run wild with Israel and Jew hatred while also supporting a State Department designated terrorist group, there are consequences.
North Carolina latest to scoop retirement funds from Ben & Jerry’s over ice cream brand’s Israel boycott.
North Carolina closed out last year by becoming the most recent state to divest its public employee pension from the corporate parent of Ben & Jerry’s over the ice cream company’s boycott of Israel.
North Carolina is a swing state in politics. Other states to pull retirement funds over Ben & Jerry’s boycott of Israel span the traditional political boundaries and include Arizona, Florida, Illinois, New Jersey, New York and Texas.
“We are where we are. We don’t pick which laws to apply and who to apply them to,” North Carolina State Treasurer Dale Folwell, a Republican, told FOX Business in an interview this week. “I wish I never heard of this subject and wish we didn’t have to do what we had to do.”
Folwell announced last month that the North Carolina Retirement Systems — which provides retirement benefits for more than 1 million members, including teachers, firefighters, police officers and government employees — is withdrawing $40 million from Ben & Jerry’s and affiliates. This includes its parent company, Unilever PLC, a U.K.-based company. (snip)
In the face of the BDS movement — short for boycott, divest and sanction — the North Carolina legislature passed a law in 2017 that prohibits “the North Carolina Retirement Systems or the Department of State Treasurer from investing in any company engaged in a boycott of Israel.”
Ben & Jerry’s is welcome to their free speech, North Carolina will not stop it, but, that doesn’t mean NC or the other states have to keep their money in a the company or their parent when they are taking the side of a terrorist organization and all the supporters in Gaza, people so dangerous and extremist that no Arab nation will take them in.

Biden Cancels ‘All Remaining’ Leases Congress Issued In Arctic Refuge, Further Gutting American Energy.

President Joe Biden took another ax to American energy Wednesday with the cancellation of Trump-era leases for oil and gas development in Alaska’s Arctic National Wildlife Refuge.
In 2017 through the landmark Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, Congress opened up a 1.6-million-acre patch along Alaska’s north coast for drilling leases. The section amounts to less than 10 percent of the entire refuge, which spans 19.6 million acres in northeast Alaska and is about the size of South Carolina.
“My Administration is canceling all remaining oil and gas leases issued under the last administration in the Arctic Refuge and proposing to protect 13 million acres in the Western Arctic,” Biden wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter. “There’s more to do,” he added ominously.
Biden previously paused leases in 2021 while their environmental effects were assessed — months after signing an executive order on his first day in office to halt any new drilling leases on public land. In August, a federal judge upheld the administration’s pause on development in the region over Alaskans’ objections.
Interior Secretary Deb Haaland celebrated the cancellation of leases in a Wednesday press release.
“President Biden is delivering on the most ambitious climate and conservation agenda in history,” Haaland said. “The steps we are taking today further that commitment, based on the best available science and in recognition of the Indigenous Knowledge of the original stewards of this area, to safeguard our public lands for future generations.” The indigenous tribe closest to the area in question, however, only turned against drilling after unsuccessfully trying to lease out its own land for oil and gas development.
The U.S. Geological Survey estimates between 4.3 and 11.8 billion barrels of recoverable oil remain underneath the frozen tundra of the north slope’s refuge.
The decision to terminate leases issued under President Donald Trump follows Biden’s order in March to choke off another 16 million acres of Alaskan territory from oil and gas development. Biden has made locking up 30 percent of the nation’s land and waterways by 2030 a top White House priority.
“Once again, the Biden administration has shown it cares nothing about following the law when it comes to its climate crusade,” Rick Whitbeck, the Alaska State Director for Power the Future, told The Federalist. “Canceling fully-executed leases and putting congressionally-authorized development areas off-limits only weakens America’s domestic energy situation. You have to wonder who is pulling the strings: OPEC? Russia? China?”
Biden has routinely turned to Middle Eastern nations to ramp up oil production nearly every time oil prices rise.
Republican Alaska Gov. Mike Dunleavy, who’s been repeatedly frustrated by the administration’s antagonism towards development in his state, blasted the latest episode of Washington interference Wednesday.
“Federal agencies don’t get to rewrite laws, and that is exactly what the Department of the Interior is trying to do here,” Dunleavy said. “We will fight for Alaska’s right to develop its own resources and will be turning to the courts to correct the Biden administration’s wrong.”

 ‘Antithetical To Science’: Ex-CDC Chief Says Fauci ‘Sidelined’ Anyone Who Dared Question Him On COVID.

Former CDC Director Robert Redfield said on Wednesday that Dr. Anthony Fauci actively sought to exclude or silence anyone who failed to embrace his chosen narrative on the pandemic’s origins.
During a hearing before the House Oversight Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic, Redfield claimed that Fauci, who served as the head of former President Donald Trump’s Coronavirus Response Team before taking on the role of chief medical adviser in President Joe Biden’s White House, had intentionally excluded him from conversations because he refused to fall in line.
“This was an a priori decision that there’s one point of view that we’re going to put out there, and anyone who doesn’t agree with it is going to be sidelined. And as I say, I was only the CDC director, and I was sidelined,” Redfield asserted during the hearing.
The former CDC director, a virologist himself, said that he was vocal even in January of 2020 about his suspicions that the novel coronavirus had likely originated in a lab. “I think I made it very clear in January [2020] to all of them why we had to aggressively pursue this. And I let them know as a virologist that I didn’t see that this was anything like SARS or MERS. … And they knew that was how I was thinking,” he explained, and he said that it was not long afterward that Fauci began working to exclude him from the conversation.
Redfield went on to detail a conference call that took place on February 2, 2020, one that included both Fauci and Dr. Francis Collins, then head of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), and that he was not invited to join and did not learn about until a Freedom of Information Act request resulted in the publication of emails pertaining to the call.
“I didn’t know there was a February 1 conference call until the Freedom of Information came out with the emails, and I was quite upset, as the CDC director, that I was excluded from those discussions,” Redfield said.
Congressman James Comer (R-KY) pressed Redfield for details, asking, “Why would they do this?”
“Because I had a different point of view. And I was told that they had made a decision that they would keep this confidential until they came up with a single narrative, which I will argue is antithetical to science,” he replied. “Science never selects a single narrative. We foster, as my colleagues just said, we foster debate. And we’re confident that with debate, science will eventually get to the truth.”
