Fetterman Has Perfect Response to Anti-Israel Activists Who Show Up at His Home. (This guy is making a great recovery from his stroke … almost seems like as he recovers, he’s been slowly extracting his head from his ass and seeing the light.)

Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) has made a remarkable recovery from his stroke. Indeed, I'm not sure how it happened, but he seems to have come out of it being right on important issues from the Israel-Hamas War to the border crisis. And he hasn't been afraid to share his opinion, which, in a strange twist, has conservatives liking a lot of what he has been saying and doing.
Fetterman has said the border crisis is killing the American dream and that he doesn't know how anyone could deny it was a crisis. He's decimated the anti-Israel crew with his common sense take on the Israel-Hamas War. He's even called out Harvard for their leftism.
That's earned him a lot of ire from the anti-Israel crew.
On Friday night, they showed up at his house to protest him, waving their Palestinian flags. They can't even leave people alone on a Friday night. They stood outside chanting, "Fetterman, Fetterman, you can't hide, we charge you with genocide," their standard chant. Apparently, to them, everyone is guilty of genocide, except we don't hear them calling out Hamas, the only people who truly want to commit genocide. They want to wipe Israel and its people right off the map.
But Fetterman may just win the award for the greatest troll of all time because his response to them was great. He wasn't "hiding" at all. He went up on his roof, and as they were chanting, he was waving an Israeli flag at them down below. It was marvelous:

Fetterman rebukes South Africa and the Anti-Israel Activists.

It's been something else to watch the leftist/anti-Israel mania since the attack on the country on Oct. 7. In virtually any other situation, people would recognize the right of a country to defend itself after a dastardly attack. But Israel seems to be the only country required to fight with its hands tied behind its back because of this mania.
Joe Biden goes along with this, as we saw during his comments at the Mother Emanuel AME Church. When anti-Israel activists started shouting and disrupting the church, Biden was quick to placate these characters, saying he was working with Israel to "reduce" and get them out of Gaza.

The more you act like a pushover, the more the activists push.
But we've seen quite a different response from another Democrat, Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA). The changes evident in Fetterman 2.0 have been dramatic and fascinating to watch unfold. He's not only rejected progressivism but seems to be unafraid to call out his own party and make sense, even when they don't. It's been a welcome sight.

I don't know about most popular in America, but it's a reminder that once upon a time, you did have centrist Democrats. He's blasted the crisis at the border, and he's also called out Harvard, saying they were always a little "pinko" but now are almost unrecognizable. It's hard to imagine any other Democrat saying that.
But one of the areas he's stood up to the left with particular fervor has been against the anti-Israel activists.
Somehow, they've managed to get South Africa to try to bring a case for genocide against Israel before the International Court of Justice. Now, that's ridiculous, particularly given that it's Hamas, Hezbollah, and a bunch of other terrorist groups who are the ones who want to "genocide" Israel.
Fetterman wasn't having any of that, and he delivered a shot that's getting a lot of attention.
Writer Dovi Safier posted a video that appeared to be from the OU Advocacy Center luncheon on Wednesday.
First, Fetterman called Hamas "cowards." Then, he had a few words for South Africa.

Apparently, the Bee is going to need to improve its satire because Fetterman is doing his best to make that headline a reality. As RedState reported, he's already taken right-leaning positions on Israel and the bribery scandal engulfing Sen. Bob Menendez. I don't just mean he's put out a statement either. He's repeatedly expressed his viewpoints in a variety of media venues, including going on "The View" and facing the screeching of Sonny Hostin and company.
More recently, though, Fetterman took things a step further by coming out in support of tighter immigration restrictions, criticizing the disastrous situation at the border. And if that wasn't enough to send the far left into fits of rage, he's now proclaiming that he's not a "progressive."

Fetterman goes on to say that he supports a compromise bill that addresses the border crisis in conjunction with foreign aid, which has been the Republican approach to the issue for weeks. I'm not saying the guy isn't still a left-winger, but he's certainly shifted dramatically away from the more insane factions of the Democratic Party. How do I know? Because they are melting down over it.
One of the above posters calls him "Sinema 2.0," as if that's a bad thing. I'll take a Kyrsten Sinema-style Democrat over a regular Democrat any day of the week. Fetterman has his office for the next five years, so any moderation is good news for conservatives.
It may be bad news for Bob Casey, though, the other Democrat senator from Pennsylvania who faces a tough re-election bid in 2024. Fetterman is making Casey look like the weak, pathetic, down-the-line Democrat that he is. Hopefully, Pennsylvanians take note of which one of their senators has the guts to take common sense positions in the face of far-left demands and which one doesn't.
Returning to Fetterman himself, whether he was always like this and we all just missed it, or whether he's just had a change of heart on several issues, it's a welcome development. Let's hope he keeps it up.

After Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) made a unilateral decision to relax the unwritten dress code to accommodate Pennsylvania’s most notorious outpatient, his colleagues decided to get it in writing.

The bipartisan bill from Democratic Sen. Joe Manchin of West Virginia and Utah Republican Sen. Mitt Romney requires that members abide by a real dress code – rather than an unwritten custom – when on the Senate floor, that includes a coat, tie, and slacks for men.

Schumer is acting as if he’s happy with how everything went, but this was a pretty swift and stinging rebuke to his solo overreach. A good friend of mine who works in the Senate told me last weekend that, “Everyone hates this.”
The youngest member of the United States Senate Convalescent Home™, Fetterman has been playing the sympathy card in order to have the rules bent for him almost from the moment he was sworn in last January. He’s gotten away with it thus far because the Democrats are so desperate to hang onto their one-vote majority. It’s probably a safe bet that a lot of them were never OK with his antics, and now they’re on record.
John Fetterman is a national embarrassment.
There is no word yet on whether the Senate will designate someone to tie Fetterman’s ties for him.

Fetterman has been a staunch supporter of cannabis legalization, both in his role as Lt. Gov. of Pennsylvania and as Mayor of Braddock, Pennsylvania.
Sen. John Fetterman, D-Penn., on Thursday tweeted out a photo acknowledging 4/20, an unofficial holiday dedicated to smoking and celebrating marijuana.
In the photo, the hoody-wearing senator is holding up a flag bearing the phrase, "It’s 420 somewhere."
The "420" appears to resemble a marijuana joint. Marijuana leaves are scattered throughout the flag.
 "It’s 4:20 on 4/20. That’s the tweet," wrote Fetterman.
Hours before, the senator posted another tweet signaling his support of legalizing cannabis.
"You know what goes great with some weed? A Union," Fetterman wrote in response to a story about marijuana dispensary workers seeking to unionize.
The origins of the 420 holiday are unknown, but many believe it originated in California in the 1970s when teenagers would ritualistically smoke marijuana at 4:20 each day. The term 420 ultimately became synonymous with the drug and was promoted by bands like The Grateful Dead.
Fetterman, elected to the Senate in November after beating Republican opponent Dr. Oz, has been a staunch supporter of cannabis legalization, both in his role as Lt. Gov. of Pennsylvania and Mayor of Braddock, Pa.
On the campaign trail, Fetterman called on President Biden to deschedule marijuana from its classification as a Schedule I drug and work to decriminalize it.
"It’s long past time that we finally decriminalize marijuana," Fetterman said in a press release. "The president needs to use his executive authority to begin descheduling marijuana."
Fetterman returned to the Senate Wednesday following a lengthy stay in the hospital for clinical depression that began in February.

It’s not just the word fumbles, which are egregious, that I’m talking about. Fetterman is reading word for word from notes the entire way through his opening statement, barely looking up at all as he tripped his way through it.
He asks a question of a witness and it’s a wonder she can understand the question but this entire committee was probably handed the transcript beforehand.
All of his questions had to have been written down by his staffers because he doesn’t have a clue what he’s talking about. He’s reading the questions verbatim from his notebook. And he’s the committee chair!
