'You disgust me': JD Vance rips into Ro Khanna over victimhood politics, parenting in wild X exchange.
On Thursday, it was revealed that a staffer who worked for the DOGE under Twitter/X owner Elon Musk had resigned after the Wall Street Journal made a White House inquiry about posts the staffer was allegedly linked to on the social media platform that claimed, among other things, that "I was racist before it was cool."
According to the report, the account linked to 25-year-old Marko Elez, who worked for Musk in other roles prior to this one, also posted similar racially-charged messages in 2024:
“Just for the record, I was racist before it was cool,” the account posted in July, according to the Journal’s review of archived posts.
“You could not pay me to marry outside of my ethnicity,” the account wrote on X in September. “Normalize Indian hate,” the account wrote the same month, in reference to a post noting the prevalence of people from India in Silicon Valley.
In a December post, the account allegedly wrote, "I just want a eugenic immigration policy, is that too much to ask."

Friday morning, Musk posted a survey asking if he should "Bring back @DOGE staffer who made inappropriate statements via a now deleted pseudonym?"

Vance saw Musk's survey and then shared his thoughts from the perspective of a man (himself) who is married to an Indian-American woman, Second Lady Usha Vance, with whom he has three young children:

Khanna, who is of Indian-American heritage and who is also married with children, responded to Vance's tweet with this:

To say that Vance did not appreciate the question would be an understatement. In a series of tweets, he went off on victimhood politics, and the role he suggested Khanna plays in them:

Khanna went on to complain afterward about mean tweets or something but by that point, Vance had - as the saying goes - exited the chat.
As for Elez, Musk - after seeing both the survey results and Vance advocating to bring him back - announced Friday afternoon that he would be coming back:

By Treating Left-Wing Press As The Propagandists They Are (The Enemy)

The reason the entire Trump administration is successfully fielding absurd questions so well is because they understand these ‘journalists’ are just the propaganda wing of the Democrat party.
I don’t really care, Margaret,” is a line that has now reverberated throughout the country — and for good reason.
CBS News’ Margaret Brennan tried on Sunday to trap Vice President J.D. Vance with a typical left-wing gotcha question about a near terrorist attack in Oklahoma. Vance pointed out, correctly, that an Afghan man was allowed into the U.S. through a questionable vetting process under the Biden-Harris administration. Brennan tried to contend that it was unclear whether the alleged terrorist was radicalized before he entered the United States (as if that makes a difference).
“I don’t really care, Margaret. I don’t want that person in my country, and I think most Americans agree with me,” Vance fired back.

 
For too long, Republicans and the American people have been conditioned to treat people like Brennan as “journalists.” In doing so, they’ve shouldered a burden to prove or defend basic principles (in this case protecting our people and our sovereignty) to these so-called journalists who are supposed to be unbiased and in pursuit of legitimate answers to legitimate questions.
Nowadays, people like Brennan aren’t asking legitimate questions or looking for legitimate answers — they’re just trying to create fodder for Democrats.
While Trump, former press secretaries Kayleigh McEnany, and Sarah Huckabee Sanders fielded questions similarly during the first Trump administration, there certainly was much to be desired from people like Mike Pence and other administration officials.
But perhaps what is more apparent this go around for Team Trump is the widespread understanding within the administration that these “journalists” are just propagandists.
Take Karoline Leavitt’s first press briefing as White House press secretary.
“NBC News has learned that ICE arrested 1,179 undocumented immigrants on Sunday, but nearly half of them — 566 of the migrants — appear to have no prior criminal record besides entering the country illegally,” one reporter said, asking whether there’s been a shift in policy from President Donald Trump, who campaigned on beginning deportations of illegal immigrants with “criminals.”
The reporter technically answered her own question, rightly noting that the “criminal record” the aforementioned aliens had was being here illegally.
Leavitt didn’t miss a beat, firing back that “a foreign national who illegally enters the United States of America” is “by definition, a criminal.”
Leavitt understands the burden isn’t on her (or the president) to explain to a hack why someone being here illegally is, well, illegal and necessitates a deportation.
Meanwhile, CNN’s Jake Tapper asked White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller on Tuesday about illegal immigration and grocery prices.
“The Department of Agriculture says that between 2020 and 2022, 42% of crop workers were undocumented immigrants and in many cases, as you know, these migrants do jobs many Americans do not want to do,” Tapper claimed, before asking how Trump would work to deport illegal immigrants while ensuring grocery prices don’t rise.
It’s a preposterous dichotomy: Tapper wants his viewers to believe that they must relinquish their national sovereignty if they want lower grocery prices, using the false pretense that grocery prices are kept low when illegal immigrants are exploited for cheap labor.
But Miller didn’t hesitate to point out the absurd insinuation.
“Well, I’m sure it’s not your position, Jake, you’re just asking the question that we should supply America’s food with exploitative illegal alien labor. I obviously don’t think that’s what you’re implying,” Miller said, condescendingly pointing out the absurdity of Tapper’s premise. “Only 1% of alien workers in the entire country work in agriculture. The top destination for illegal aliens are large cities like New York, Los Angeles, and small industrial towns, of course, all across the heartland, as we’ve seen with the Biden floods, none of those illegal aliens are doing farm work.”
Miller then went on to outline Trump’s policies that would benefit consumers and farmers.
The reason Miller, Leavitt, Vance, and the entire Trump administration are fielding these absurd questions so well is because they are approaching every interview and every question as though it’s a debate with a Democrat — because they understand these “journalists” are just the propaganda wing of the Democrat party.

Colombia-Born Bernie Moreno Comes Out Swinging After Woke Bishop's Sermon At National Prayer Service

(I didn’t really expect Trump or Vance to speak out loudly about the woke shit expressed from the pulpit at the National Prayer Service, which was shameful and ignorant, just because it was a church service, so I’m glad some people are speaking out on the behalf of us who were appalled at the liberal filth that spewed forth from her TDS infested mind and mouth.)

It has often been said that President Donald Trump brings out the absolute worst in his leftist critics, and that has certainly proven true over the last 24 hours or so as inaugural gatherings continue and leaderless, angry Democrats struggle to cope with the reality that they have failed and failed miserably.
Case in point, Mariann Budde, a notoriously anti-Trump Episcopalian bishop at the Washington National Cathedral who decided to play politics during the National Prayer Service Tuesday by lecturing Trump and Vice President JD Vance on LGBTQ-related and illegal immigration issues.
As we reported, here's some of what she said during the service:
“And the people, the people who pick our crops and clean our office buildings, who labor in poultry farms and meat-packing plants, who wash the dishes after we eat in restaurants, they, they may not be citizens or have the proper documentation, but the vast majority of immigrants are not criminals. They pay taxes and are good neighbors.”
Trump and Vance, of course, were not remotely amused, and the looks on their faces - especially Vance's - spoke volumes about what they were likely thinking:

We’ve seen some really bad campaign ads this election season from KamalaHQ, spots where she pretends she’s always been a border hawk, commercials featuring dude-bros lovingly staring into each other’s eyes, and even appeals for women to lie to their husbands about who they’re voting for. They’re unethical, gaslighting, devious, and just… really, really lame.
The worst yet, however, just might be this partly AI-generated video of a dystopian U.S. in the future, a future where Republicans have taken over, outlawed birth control (who exactly has advocated for that?), put millions in internment camps and installed JD Vance as dictator for life. (I thought CA Gov. Gavin Newsom banned AI videos during campaign season?)
They show Trump dying—that’s not inflammatory content? The leftist press would absolutely explode if a right-leaning outfit made a clip showing Biden expiring in his bed.

I would add some things, though: 1) They didn’t need AI for that first shot of homeless people crowded around an inner-city campfire. They could have come here to downtown LA or virtually any other Democrat-run city and gotten the shot in minutes. The second scene, before the Republican “apocalypse,” features a vapid-looking woman dancing suggestively with two guys. They go on to portray an imbecilic version of a totalitarian regime run by Elon Musk and JD Vance. (Notice the music is almost identical to the soundtrack of Terminator 2). It’s just straight-up fear porn, nothing more; it’s not even slightly based on any real tendencies Trump, Musk or Vance have shown.

When I read Maureen Dowd’s column about vice presidential candidate J.D. Vance’s debate night smirk, I was reminded of my canceled academic career and reading literary journals that went in-depth into such things as “phallogocentrism” and the “male gaze.” Over the past decade, such fears have migrated from campuses to the everyday world.
Dowd was complaining about the fact that presidential candidate Kamala Harris is being portrayed in Trump campaign ads as incapable of protecting Americans from foreign threats — a continuation of the sexism faced by the “bubbly” Geraldine Ferraro and by the “hawk”-ish Hillary Clinton (and perhaps Michael Dukakis). It would have nothing to do with such statements like “We’re not going to stop pursuing what is necessary for the United States to be clear about where we stand on the need for this war to end.” As I learned in graduate school, logic is phallic.
Dowd also complained that when Trump returned to Butler, Pennsylvania, on Oct. 5, he was “martyr-milking” the assassination attempt, the one moment where he had shown courage. Otherwise, he lives in a “miasma of self-pity.” In “Trumpworld,” “sympathy is weakness.”
Same for Vance, who like a “chameleon” had “ambitiously code-switched into a Trumper.” He represents the “future of the [Republican] party”: “lies piled on lies, and darkness swallowing darkness.”
During the debate, did Vance in Trump/Hitler fashion snarl and shout, pound his fists, with flames of fire shooting from his bloodshot eyes? No, there was something more “chilling,” according to Dowd. Vance put on a “mask of likability and empathy.”
It was not real empathy, but masculine aggression and toxicity. (Think Ted Bundy with his good looks and charm.) The giveaway? He smirked. Smirking by male Republicans is an irrefutable sign of male toxicity.

WATCH: Tom Cotton won’t let CNN’s Dana Bash get away with distorting quote from JD Vance.

CNN tried to push a distortion of a quote by JD Vance this week after the school shooting in Georgia but Tom Cotton wouldn’t let them get away with it.
CNN host Dana Bash suggested that JD Vance was saying that we all need to get used to school shootings being the “reality we live in”.
But Tom Cotton quickly pushed back saying Vance wasn’t saying that, but that he said he doesn’t want them to be a fact of life.
He went on to point out how the Associated Press got caught misquoting Vance so badly that they had to retract it.
