MSNBC Examines Prayers at Trump Rallies Calling them ‘Apocalyptic’
The attack on Christianity during the opening of the Olympic games was not enough for MSNBC. “Morning Joe” goes after Christians again yesterday by investigating Trump rally prayers. The rallies open with prayer and its time to investigate just what is going on so says the segment. Journalists have not spent enough time investigating. It is a sad commentary on a nation that was founded on Christian Principals.
Daily Caller:
A panel on “Morning Joe” spent over eight minutes discussing prayers at rallies held by former President Donald Trump during a Monday segment.
In an article published Monday morning, McKay Coppins, a staff writer for The Atlantic, reviewed prayers at Trump’s rallies since he announced his candidacy for the 2024 presidential election in November 2022.
A week before christmas, an evangelical minister named Paul Terry stood before thousands of Christians, their heads bowed, in Durham, New Hampshire, and pleaded with God for deliverance. The nation was in crisis, he told the Lord—racked with death and addiction, led by wicked men who “rule with imperial disdain.”
“With every passing day,” the minister said, “we slip farther and farther into George Orwell’s tyrannical dystopia.”
But because God is merciful, there was reason for hope. One man stood ready to redeem the country: Donald Trump. And he was about to come onstage. “We know what he did for us and how he strove to lead us in honorable ways during his term as our president—in ways that brought your blessings to us, rather than your reproach and judgment,” Terry prayed. “We know the hour is late. We know that time grows shorter for us to be saved and revived.” When he finished in the name of Jesus Christ, Amens echoed through the hall. Soon Trump appeared to rapturous applause and Lee Greenwood’s “God Bless the U.S.A.”
Coppins told MSNBC contributor Jen Palmieri during the eight-minute segment that the text of the prayers could be planting “seeds of conspiracy theories,” after he said the prayers had not received what he considered to be sufficient “journalistic attention.”
“If you imagine a loss for this ticket, you know, what are these rallies and the religious — and the prayers sort of sowing in this crowd of Trump supporters?” Palmieri asked Coppins about the prayers, which she characterized as “apocalyptic.”
“I’m almost just as concerned as what happens if Trump wins. I quote toward the end of the piece from a prayer that was given in Iowa, where the pastor who is praying promises righteous retribution if Donald Trump is reelected against those who would seek to do evil,” Coppins said.
“And again, you know, I think that both sides can be guilty of ratcheting up the stakes of any given election to be too high, but this is an example of where if you believe that God is on your side, it becomes very risky that you believe that a win is not only an electoral mandate, but a divine mandate to do whatever you want. And so I do think that we need to think about that and keep that in the back of our minds as we’re looking at some of the rhetoric coming out of the Trump campaign.”
Nauseating.
One wonders what would happen if the same effort was made examining the prayers of Muslims.

Social media lit up with commentary after a bizarre commercial for a group called “He Gets Us” aired during Sunday’s Super Bowl.
The ad, which you can watch here, consists of still images that depict BLM- and DEI-approved progressive archetypes getting their feet washed by other people, like cops. A white priest washes the feet of a gay black man who took off his rollerskates for the honor. A tattooed gal has her feet washed by a white woman outside the doors of an abortion clinic. Another white lady gazes beatifically at a hijabi while she washes her Muslim feet. Just as Jesus would have wanted.
The nauseating ads were produced by a far-leftwing ad agency and paid for by a group of white Christian boomers who run a charitable organization called “Come Near.”
These are the useful idiots of Christianity, attempting to turn Jesus Christ into a blue-haired, nose pierced BLM-style social justice warrior.
They’re trying to convince you that He just wants us to love each other by you getting on your knees, to make it easier for the angry mobs to curb stomp you into submission.
Here’s my two cents worth.
The “He Gets Us” Super Bowl commercial video leaves A LOT to be desired as far as a Christian video. In fact I would label it as a secular view on what worldly people think Christians should do.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qw-M4J9aOQ8
Yes, Jesus didn’t teach US to hate, BUT there were things He hated and you are totally justified in hating sin. He also taught repentance. You can’t wash people’s feet and get them or yourself into Heaven. If you watch the TV super-mega rockstar churches, you would think that being a ‘good’ person, or donating money to ‘worthy’ causes, or praying / meditating, going to church ‘religiously’, or even washing peoples feet would get you into Heaven. That’s a lie. Satan has been whispering that lie to people for forever. The only way to Heaven is to accept that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God and to accept him as your Savior. I’ve heard people say they believe IN God … whatever, even Satan believes in God. You have to BELIEVE GOD and His Word.
Proverbs 6:16-19
These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:
17 - A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
18 - An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,
19 - A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.
This is the Super Bowl ad we should have gotten, if you watched the Super Bowl, I actually missed it for about the 7th year.

Jamie Bambrick, associate pastor of Hope Church Craigavon in Northern Ireland, and a YouTube video creator, tells CBN about his alternative 'He Gets Us' Super Bowl Ad which has gone viral and why he made it .
"I felt like the original advert was a missed opportunity of sorts," Bambrick said of the NFL spot. "I felt like it may have been well-intentioned ... there's a degree of truth there that Jesus loves and serves everybody." But he said he doesn't believe the message presented in the original video is the best and most effective message that could have been conveyed. "I think it missed some of the key points that we would want to get across," Bambrick said. "Essentially, what it came across as doing was putting a sort of Jesus-shaped stamp of approval on the ideas, the values, and the actions of our generation and that are common today, which, in many cases are not things of which Jesus is approving."

Pride Santa and the Pride Christmas Nutcracker
Like every other cherished aspect of our culture, Christmas will be defiled and repurposed before it is erased altogether by the leftist social engineers who control major corporations like Target. If Black Paraplegic Santa doesn’t fill you with the woke answer to Christmas spirit, try Pride Santa and the Pride Christmas Nutcracker:
The Nutcracker figurine is holding a “progress” flag, which merges the LGBTQ+ flag with others representing transgender individuals, and black and brown people, while the “Pride Santa” features St. Nicholas holding the rainbow Pride flag.
It becomes ever more obvious why pride is listed among the Seven Deadly Sins*.
Also available for purchase online is a “Love is Love” ornament.
The slogan “Love Is Love” relieves social engineers from having to add ever more letters to the LGBTQIA+++ acronym. It is a specifically sexual restatement of the nihilist motto, “Nothing is true, everything is permitted.” Note that Pride Santa wears it plastered across his chest:
https://twitter.com/nypost/status/1727334718457160082?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1727334718457160082%7Ctwgr%5E7a1b89af3c4c646d08c562758656fc9403200750%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fmoonbattery.com%2F
A careful analysis of the word “Christmas” reveals that it originally had something to do with Christianity. Before the book is banned for being homophobic, get hold of a Bible and learn what Christianity has to say about sexual deviancy.
Target lost $10 billion in market valuation in 10 days due to backlash against promoting the LGBTification of children. Those in charge don’t care. Big Business isn’t about profit anymore; it is about the Agenda.

*The Holy Bible never mentions Seven Deadly Sins. People have misquoted verses from Proverbs 6:16-19. These verses list “six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him.”

God never wrought Miracle, to convince Atheism, because his Ordinary Works convince it. It is true, that a little Philosophy inclineth Man’s Mind to Atheism; But depth in Philosophy, bringeth Men’s Minds about to Religion. - Francis Bacon - 1625
In 1677 “The Court of the Gentiles” by educator and theologian Theophilus Gale included a concise instance of the expression:
Whence that great observation of Sir Francis Bacon, That a little Philosophie makes men Atheists, though a great deal would cure them of Atheisme.
In 1623 Bacon published “De Augmentis Scientiarum” in Latin. A translation into English by a scholar at King’s College Cambridge was published in 1720, and Bacon’s thought was presented with a different phrasing:
But further, it is an assured Truth, and warranted by Experience, that a small, or superficial Taste of Philosophy, may perchance incline a Man to Atheism, but that a deeper Draught brings him back again to Religion.
In 1757 the famous Scottish philosopher David Hume included an instance of the saying in his essay titled “The Natural History of Religion”, but Hume presented a different phrasing for the remark:
A little philosophy, says my Lord Bacon, makes men atheists: A great deal reconciles them to religion. For men, being taught, by superstitious prejudices, to lay the stress on a wrong place; when that fails them, and they discover, by a little reflection, that the course of nature is regular and uniform, their whole faith totters, and falls to ruin. But being taught, by more reflection, that this very regularity and uniformity is the strongest proof of design and of a supreme intelligence, they return to that belief, which they had deserted; and they are now able to establish it on a firmer and more durable foundation.
Alexander Pope - 1866 On Bacon’s quote
“A little learning is a dangerous thing;
Drink deep, or taste not the Pierian spring;
There shallow draughts intoxicate the brain,
And drinking largely sobers us again.”

Now we know why so many Bible-believing Christians are fleeing the Southern Baptist Convention.
A Southern Baptist pastor who once called Trump supporters “political whores” has been elected as the first black chairman of the Southern Baptist Convention’s Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission.
(Contrary to what he professes, Kevin Smith is NO CHRISTIAN. He is a ‘pseudo-religious WHORE” and he sold his soul to the progressive left in return for position to spew his scandalous propaganda and he should be removed … but the Baptist Church is much like the GOP these days … No spine. P.S. Like obongo said “If I had a turd, it would look like Kevin Smith.”)
Smith is the pastor of Family Church Village in West Palm Beach, Florida, and previously served as director of the Baptist Convention of Maryland/Delaware. He’s also served on the ERLC board since 2018, the Christian Post reported.
“I think some Southern Baptists lost their minds when a black man was elected president. Not all, but some, Smith said in remarks first reported by Protestia. I think some Southern Baptists were unloving to black people beginning in 2012 with the killing of Trayvon Martin. I don’t mean agree about politics or policy…I just mean giving a darn that somebody else is hurting who is supposed to be your brother or sister in Christ. And I think some Southern Baptists just bent over and became political whores with this whole Trump stuff.”
At the time the pastor earned accolades from a number of far-left groups like Occupy Democrats for calling out what was termed “MAGA pastors.”
“As far as becoming political whores and bending over so the bad orange man could impregnate us with racial ideologies, this is not the winsomeness that he was insisting we emulate during his later conference talk that he gave in front of the whole convention, making him quite the hypocrite,”
What was even more disturbing is not a single pastor in the room or on the stage called out Smith’s attacks or the language he used to describe his fellow Christians.
But since Pastor Smith broached the subject, it bears asking: Does the pastor believe that Christians who voted for Barack Obama are also political whores?
How else would he explain why Christians would cast their vote for a man who is pro-abortion, pro-gay marriage and anti-religious liberty. Obama did more to destroy religious liberty in this nation than any other president in modern American history.
Obama also declared war on Billy Graham, America’s pastor. The late evangelist’s crime was to support traditional marriage. Obama’s Internal Revenue Service led an audit against the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association at great expense. It was the first time in the ministry’s history that they had been subjected to a government audit.
President Trump, on the other hand, defended religious liberty. He became the only president in history to speak in person at the annual March for Life. And he nominated Supreme Court justices that eventually gave coaches across the nation the right to pray at football games. And more importantly, the justices he nominated overturned Roe v. Wade.
Pastor Smith is either woefully misinformed about his politics or he is a profane, race-hustling, Al Sharpton wannabe.
But the unanimous selection of someone like Smith is yet further evidence of how the nation’s largest non-Catholic denomination has taken a left turn. Most recently, the ERLC has led a not-so-stealth campaign to target the Second Amendment in Tennessee.
And it’s impossible to forget the anti-Trump pronouncements that came from the ERLC during the tenure of its last president.
Russell Moore, who now leads “Christianity Today,” once argued “evangelicals and other social conservatives” must “repudiate everything they believe” to support Trump.
No wonder so many Christians are fleeing Southern Baptist churches.

The Intolerant Left.
The totalitarian left has no intention of letting us “live and let live.
Many reasonable people, including many well-meaning Christians, keep falling for left-wing arguments about “tolerance.” They say, “Live and let live. Why are you such a hater?”
But it’s all a lie meant to shame you. And once they have shut down the debate, they use the full power of government to make you bow.
The left often says, “Nobody is forcing you to get an abortion, so don’t stop me from getting one.” Many people bought into that argument and still do.
But now the Biden Administration is using your tax dollars, including our national defense budget, to subsidize abortions.
We’ve seen it with the marriage issue, too. Many people said, “It doesn’t impact me if two men get married.”
But over and over again, we’ve seen religious business owners dragged into court and ordered to provide services for same-sex weddings.
And because of our inability to hold that line, now we’re fighting over men in women’s bathrooms and boys in girls’ sports.
Now the argument is, “Why do you hate trans children so much?”
In short order, that becomes a 16 year-old boy demanding to change in the same locker room as your daughter. If you don’t agree with that, you’re the bigot and your daughter will be suspended.
All of this may seem like a broken record, but it bears repeating: In this great battle over what America will consider acceptable and normal, only one side can win. No society has “moral neutrality” as its prevailing value. Every law in every culture is someone’s idea of what is right and what is wrong.
Whoever wins this ongoing conflict will teach our children what to believe about life and death, love and sex, freedom and slavery.
Meanwhile, the Biden Administration has zero tolerance for your religious values. They are actually willing to punish hungry children at private religious schools unless those schools sacrifice their children to the demands of the radical LGBTQ agenda.
This is an outrageous assault on religious liberty, and it should be a warning to everyone who values common sense and normalcy that the intolerant, totalitarian left has no intention of letting us “live and let live.”
You will bow or else!

Anglican Leader Says Opening Of Lord’s Prayer Is ‘Problematic’ For Some.
(If referring to God as “Our Father” is problematic to you, it’s because you aren’t a Christian. If you consider speaking the same truth as Jesus spoke in the Holy Bible problematic, it may be that you are very weak in your faith or have no faith to start with. The Bible makes it clear that God was a man and that Jesus was his son, both unapologetically male. I would also rethink EVER believing ANYTHING the Church of England says.)
An archbishop in the Church of England said the opening of the “Lord’s Prayer” is considered “problematic” to some people because the 2,000-year-old prayer starts by addressing God as “Our Father.”
Archbishop of York Stephen Cottrell told the General Synod, the legislating and ruling body of the Church of England, that referring to God as “father” might be offensive to some people because of the negative connotations of patriarchy.
“I know the word ‘father’ is problematic for those whose experience of earthly fathers has been destructive and abusive, and for all of us who have labored rather too much from an oppressively patriarchal grip on life,” Cottrell said, according to The Guardian.
Cottrell was referring to the prayer that Jesus Christ taught his disciples in Matthew 6:9–13 and Luke 11:2–4.
Conservatives within the church took issue with Cottrell’s words, while liberals supported the sentiments expressed by the archbishop.
“Is the archbishop of York saying Jesus was wrong, or that Jesus was not pastorally aware? It seems to be emblematic of the approach of some church leaders to take their cues from culture rather than scripture,” said Dr. Chris Sugden, a church official and chair of Anglican Mainstream, a conservative organization within the church.
Calvin Robinson, a conservative commentator and deacon in the Free Church of England, also critiqued Cottrell’s comments.
“We call it the ‘Lord’s Prayer’ because it is the prayer the Lord gave us. He taught us to pray it. We call God ‘Our Father’ because that is how he instructed us to address him. Is the Archbishop saying Christ was wrong? That God made a mistake?” Robinson said on Twitter.
Currently, the Church of England is looking at using “gender-neutral” pronouns for God, instead of the masculine pronouns used in the Bible.
“Christians have recognized since ancient times that God is neither male nor female,” a spokesperson for the church said in February. “Yet the variety of ways of addressing and describing God found in scripture has not always been reflected in our worship.”
The Bible refers to God using masculine pronouns throughout both the Old and New Testaments. Jesus, who Christians believe to be fully human and fully God, came to Earth in bodily form as a man, and Christians believe that he still has a physical body.

Libs Demanded Sarah Huckabee Sanders Remove a Cross Drawn by Her Kids. Here's Her Response.
Joyless leftists, as they are prone to do, got all triggered when Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders' kids used chalk to draw a cross surrounded by colorful stained glass-like shapes on the driveway at the governor's mansion this week.
Gov. Sanders had shared a photo of her kids and their artwork to social media, which naturally upset the usual suspects.
Quickly, the hall monitors at Americans United for the Separation of Church and State issued a demand letter: remove the chalk rendering of a cross.
The group claimed that its presence at the official home of Arkansas' executive was a violation of the Constitution.
Americans United wrote:
“The religious display at the entrance to the Arkansas Governor’s Mansion violates the Establishment Clause because it sends a message that the Governor’s office—and by extension, the state of Arkansas—favors one religion over others. Such favoritism is unconstitutional. You and your family are free to display and create religious images and art in private areas of your residence, but a public-facing display in front of an entrance intended “to welcome people into the Governor’s mansion” is plainly on the wrong side of the constitutional line.”
Never mind, apparently, that "separation of church and state" is not found in the Constitution, nor does having a kids' chalk depiction of a rather universal religious symbol rise to the level of establishing a state religion.
In what should come as a surprise to no one, Gov. Sanders is not backing down, bending to the will of the no-God-in-government crowd at Americans United, or agreeing to relegate her family's beliefs to only private expressions.
In an official letter of her own obtained by Townhall on Friday, Sanders responded to Americans United.
"I have received your letter and my answer is no," Sanders wrote. "I will not erase the beautiful cross my kids drew in chalk on the driveway of the Governor's Mansion or remove my post on social media, and I will not now or ever hide that I am a Christian, saved by Christ."
Sanders continued, explaining that Americans United is "wrong to claim that our Constitution prevents public officials, let alone their families, from making earnest expressions of religious faith. Our founding documents are riddled with religious language - stating plainly that the very rights you claim to defend are 'endowed by our Creator,'" Sanders reminded. "You are asking me to ignore that truth and hide a crucial part of my identity and the identity of my kids. That, I will not do," she reiterated.
"In Arkansas, we stand up to bullying liberals," Sanders declared:
“We won't let you power-wash our kids' chalk drawings off our front steps. We won't let you tear down Christmas decorations and stomp our traditions into the dirt. We don't live our lives in fear of strongly worded letters coming down from Washington.
I am offended by the implication that, just because I am a Christian, I am somehow a bigot. All people, of all faiths, are welcome in our state. All Arkansans are welcome in the Governor's Mansion. We are all citizens of this same great country - one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”
For too long, the left has counted on being able to shame and bully conservatives into hiding their values and beliefs with false accusations of racism, sexism, and other forms of bigotry. When conservatives such as Gov. Sanders stand up to the intolerance of the supposedly tolerant left, we win.
