PolitiFact Ridiculously Calls Babylon Bee Satire Piece About Transportation Secretary Buttigieg 'False.’

So here's the thing.
I refuse to believe that left-wing "fact-check" sites like Snopes, NPR FactCheck, or PolitiFact lack the intellectual capacity behind the scenes to distinguish between facts and satire. Rather, these leftist hives of self-assigned legitimacy intentionally ignore the satire part and focus only on that which is satirized.
Why? Cutting satire hits too close to home for the left.
In this example from The Babylon Bee, the best satire site on the planet, we're talking about irrelevant, do-no-good, Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg.
The hopelessly biased fact-checking business has had a hell of a time trying to figure out The Bee. Of course, they know The Bee's a satire site but they simply can't stop making fools out of themselves over Bee Sting after Bee Sting.
Anyway, back to Buttigieg. A March 27 headline on The Bee read: “Buttigieg Praises Cargo Ship For Helping Dismantle Racism in America."

As I suggested earlier, any objective and reasonably intelligent person would immediately realize that The Bee headline was satire. And remember, the closer to reality satire is, or any form of comedy, the funnier it is. Hence, this Bee Sting really stung the left.
Sure enough, on Friday, two days after The Bee piece dropped, PolitiFact trotted out a goofy "fact-check," headlined with The Bee's headline in quotes.
PolitiFact's Ciara O'Rourke then spewed utter stupidity — on multiple levels.
A recent Facebook post shared a headline from a satire website but not everyone got the joke.
"Buttigieg praises cargo ship for helping dismantle racism in American roads," the headline said alongside photos of Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg and the cargo ship that crashed into  Baltimore’s Francis Scott Key Bridge.
"And these are the people running our country," one person commented.
"I didn’t read the article … but it sounds like something he would say," someone else said.

Utter stupidity, including PolitiFact's ridiculous attempt to legitimize its silly article by pointing to an equally meaningless flag by Meta — as if Meta and Facebook are beacons of legitimacy and truth.

 Wrist Slap for Buttigieg’s Kiddie Porn-Prone Protégé

Former College Park, Maryland Mayor Patrick Wojahn, previously featured in a Profile in Sexual Diversity, has been sentenced after pleading guilty to 140 child pornography charges. Considering that he is a protégé of Pete Buttigieg, who holds a cabinet position specifically because he too is a prominent member of the LGBT community, no one will be surprised that the sentence was light:
Some of the photos and videos included infants.
Patrick Wojahn received 150 years, but the judge suspended 120 of them. He is eligible for parole in 7.5 years.
At that point, if progressives keep progressing, he will be a likely candidate to join his friend Buttigieg in the top echelons of government. After all, he has quite a résumé:
Last year, College Park received a perfect 100 on its Municipal Equality Index scorecard from the gay-lobbying group Human Rights Campaign (HRC), which doled out extra credit for the city’s openly LGBTQ elected leaders.
In 2020, city leadership publicly celebrated the first time it earned a perfect score, with Wojahn declaring that “College Park aims to be a welcoming community for all, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity.” The rating, which the mayor “worked for several years to achieve,” “recognizes our true commitment to diversity, inclusion, and equity,” Wojahn stated.
Buttigieg isn’t his only friend in a high place:
[Wojahn] has frequented the White House for an array of Pride events hosted by Biden, whom Wojahn considers “the most pro-LGBTQ President in US history!” In mid-December, Wojahn and his husband were invited to attend Biden’s signing ceremony of the Respect [or rather, Contempt] for Marriage Act on the White House’s South Lawn.
Regarding Wojahn’s “husband”:
Wojahn rose to political prominence when he and Kolesar were named plaintiffs in the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU)’s 2004 lawsuit seeking to overturn a ban on gay marriage in Maryland.
Wojahn was slightly ahead of his time with the kiddy porn, but the future is progressing at us fast.

Section of northbound I-95 collapses in Philadelphia after tanker truck catches fire underneath highway.

A section of northbound I-95 in Philadelphia has collapsed after a tanker truck caught fire underneath the highway, Philadelphia officials said Sunday morning.
“We did have a collapse of 95 on the northbound side, and the southbound side is compromised by heavy fire,” Derek Bowmer, battalion chief for the Philadelphia Fire Department, said during a news conference Sunday morning. “It looked like we had a lot of heat and heavy fire underneath the underpass.”
Firefighters are still battling the blaze, Bowmer said.
Explosions around the highway collapse were caused by “runoff of maybe some fuel or gas lines that could have been compromised by the accident,” said Bowmer.
“We have fire coming out of those manholes,” Bowmer said.
Photos and videos from the scene show huge plumes of smoke billowing from the interstate.
The mayor’s office told CNN a large tanker truck fire caused the collapse. The highway is closed in both directions around the area and the fire is under control, according to Sarah Peterson, the office’s communications director.
Dominick Mireles, director of Philadelphia’s Office of Emergency Management, said officials would be dealing with the collapse and the fire for a long time.
“Today’s going to be a long day. And obviously with 95 northbound gone, and southbound questionable, it’s going to be even longer than that,” Mireles said. “The roadway’s gone.”
Tumar Alexander, managing director for the City of Philadelphia, said the incident will “be a significant impact to this community for a while.”
“95 will be impacted for a long time,” Alexander said during the news conference.
The fire is under investigation by the fire marshal and other partners, Bowmer added during the news conference.

Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg said the US Department of Transportation is offering assistance to Pennsylvania after the collapse.
“Closely monitoring the fire and collapse on I-95 in Pennsylvania,” Buttigieg wrote on Twitter. “I’ve been in touch with FHWA and spoke with Gov. Shapiro to offer any assistance that USDOT can provide to help with recovery and reconstruction.”

Little Pete Buttigieg says that car accidents are just as RACIST as shootings.
(I wonder if any Republicans will step up and ask Buttiboi to show us the studies that prove that traffic fatalities are IN ANY WAY affected by racism … is he saying that POC’s can’t drive worth a sh*t?)
Little Pete, who may or may not still be on maternity leave, said on MSNBC that people are dying constantly from car accidents, “at a level comparable to gun violence,” and that it’s just as racist.
Fatalities in traffic accidents are the result of “discrimination” against “black and brown Americans.”
No I’m very serious, he said these things.
Oh and he was talking to Al “Not-so” Sharpton.
“Everything is Racist.” It’s not just a slogan, it's the law.
