I'm Beat - NCAAF Rankings

I'm still recovering from the trip and the doctor's visit yesterday but I'm trying to get it together. But I do see a NAP trying to sneak up and smack me down this afternoon.

Thought I would go ahead and post the new stats and rankings after last weekend. I am so disappointed with Notre Dame not kicking the shit out of beating Miami. They should be ashamed.

UGA will play an unranked team this week as will FSU. I don’t think UF or MIA’s opponents are going to be a challenge either. I could be wrong but this weekend will only be exciting for me if there is a serious upset.

ESPN/Disney Can Kiss My Ass ...

If they think I'm gonna start a MyDisney account. I really like using ESPN's NCAAF stats but I won't knowingly JOIN anything associated with Disney. FUCK Disney.

Last year I could go to this web site

https://www.espn.com/college-football/

select NCAAF and then select SCHEDULE

and view the schedule of any NCAAF team and their ranking.

About a month ago, I went to the site and selected SCHEDULE and went to the Georgia Bulldogs page and took this screenshot:

This is the address of the Bulldogs schedule:

https://www.espn.com/college-football/team/schedule/_/id/61/georgia-bulldogs

Now that the season has stared, this is what I see now when I select SCHEDULE:

I'm pretty sure I'm not going to be able to see any schedules until I join MyDisney, which ain't going to happen. I'll just have to find another go to site to get my info from. If any of you, that DO NOT HAVE MyDisney accounts could go to the web site and see if you have access, then it would let me know if they have a problem with me (I do talk A LOT OF SHIT about Disney*) or if my computer is just so outdated it can't go there.

(*and if you think them bastards aren't listening, you're just naive.)

Further down the page there is this box and an option to join, but like I said, it's a MyDisney account.

I always record the games and NASCAR races so I can skip the stupendously asinine and everlasting commercials and so I can skip the entire halftime show with football games.

Update: NCAAF - Week #1 Results

Great day ! All my teams won by decent margins. Miami (10) plays Notre Dame (6) at 7:30 tomorrow on ABC. Hopefully they get spanked. I'll update this after that game.

45 Georgia (5) V Marshall 7

31 Florida State V (8) Alabama 17

48 Florida (15) V Long Island University 0

27 Miami (10) V (6) Notre Dame 24

NCAAF - Week #1

It's that time of the year again. I will be posting the records of UGA, FSU, UF, and MIA this year again.

I was born in Georgia and I always will identify with them first. BUT, my parents moved back to Florida when I was 2 weeks old and as soon as I was old enough to pick a college team to root for and my older brother decided he was a Florida Gator, I knew I had to be a Florida State Seminole. So while I do root for the Gators, when UF plays FSU, I am a Seminole. And I root for every team that plays Miami. Can't stand the Hurricanes mostly due to the way I feel about the actual city of Miami.

UGA plays Marshall at 3:30 today on ESPN. FSU plays Alabama at 3:30 today on ABC.

UF plays Long Island University at 7:00 on ESPN+ or SEC+ which I don't get and will not pay for.

MIA plays Notre Dame at 7:30 tomorrow on ABC. I may watch that one.

National Collegiate Athletic Association Football - Playoffs

Well ... nobody I still give a shit about is left. I'll watch the championship just because it's the championship but ... whatever. Forced to pick the winner, I'll say I would rather it be ND but Ohio seems more determined.

National Collegiate Athletic Association Football - Playoffs

I couldn't root for Penn so I'm glad ND won. Now Texas needs to win the Cotton Bowl and move on to whip Notre Dame in the Championship because if I can't root for Georgia, a southern team needs to win.

GO TEXAS

National Collegiate Athletic Association Football - Playoffs

 WELL ...

SHIT, SHIT, SHIT.

#!*&@*^%

Georgia's out ... Let's go Texas !

National Collegiate Athletic Association Football - Playoffs

I record almost everything I watch on TV, especially football games so I can fast forward through the mind-numbing commercials and half-time. I was away from home yesterday almost all day so I was up watching games a little past 10 ... that's past my bedtime.

Because of the security concerns due to the barbaric islamic terrorist attack in New Orleans, the Sugar Bowl CFP quarterfinal game between the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the Georgia Bulldogs has been postponed. They will kick off at 4 p.m. at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans. The game will still be shown on ESPN.

Ohio St. whipping Oregon surprised me and I was beginning to think Texas didn't really want the win that bad against Arizona St.

National Collegiate Athletic Association Football - Playoffs

Unfortunately, Penn St. was victorious last night so WHEN Georgia beats Notre Dame they will face Penn St.

I put the Georgia vs Penn St. stat below the schedule.

National Collegiate Athletic Association Football - Week # 14

The playoff schedule is changing every day but I see on the ESPN UGA schedule page that UGA is scheduled to play Texas on Dec. 7th but the playoff schedule that I found has UGA playing Tennessee ... ?

If any of you have more up to date info or the best site to check, let me know, please.

I found this on Bleacher Report:

Final CFP rankings date

The next CFP rankings will be released on Tuesday on ESPN.

The sixth and final reveal will be Dec. 8.

Oregon, Ohio State, Texas, Penn State and Notre Dame made up the top five of the CFP top 25 from Tuesday's CFP rankings. The Ducks and Buckeyes have been the Nos. 1 and 2 teams in the CFP rankings in each of the last four rankings releases.
