Matt Walsh’s (Daily Wire) opening comments before the TN State House Health Committee on the youth gender bill, HB1 and he doesn’t pull any punches:

This was recorded around the first of February and I ‘foldered’ it away and just found it again. This is how all conservative, moral peoples should respond to the gender-mutilating bastards.

I thought I should also post these two older tweets to show you Matt Walsh's "transphobe' street cred for those that don't know him.

A Putnam County (TN) couple was killed in Texas after a dramatic big rig chase and shootout with Texas law enforcement officers.

‘They were certainly anticipating a violent encounter': TN couple killed in shootout with TX officer.
The couple’s home was searched before the chase and an “arsenal” of weapons and a pound of meth~ was found.
A search of the semi after getting it stopped found 64 lbs. of cocaine.

One of the best things about this article was one of the comments on the YouTube video:
“Arsenal?? That's like a Texas starter kit.”

Tennessee Senate Passes Bill Prohibiting Vaccines in Food, Awaiting Governor’s Signature.
(A bill like this needs to be the next bill that goes to Gov. DeSantis’s desk for Florida.)

A landmark decision was made in the Tennessee Senate on Thursday as lawmakers passed HB1894, a bill that would redefine the term “drug” within the state’s legal code to include food products containing vaccines or vaccine materials.
The bill now awaits the signature of Governor Bill Lee (R-TN), WSMV reported.
The legislation comes amid concerns from Republican lawmakers about the potential for vaccines to be incorporated into food supplies. The bill specifically targets research that explores the possibility of embedding vaccines into food items, which has been a subject of discussion in scientific circles.
During the discussion in the Senate, proponents of the bill cited research from the University of California Riverside (UCR), where scientists have been investigating the feasibility of using edible plants, such as lettuce, as vehicles for mRNA vaccine delivery.
The Gateway Pundit previously reported* that researchers at the University of California were awarded a $500,000 grant from the National Science Foundation to develop technology that infuses experimental mRNA COVID-19 vaccines into spinach, lettuce, and other edible plants.

*Scientists Are Growing Covid Vaccine-Filled Spinach, Lettuce, Edible Plants To Replace Covid Injections.
https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2021/11/scientists-growing-covid-vaccine-filled-spinach-lettuce-edible-plants-replace-covid-injections/

The team of nanobiotechnology experts is currently working on successfully delivering DNA containing mRNA BioNTech technology into chloroplasts, the part of the plants that instruct its cells’ DNA to replicate the vaccine material.
The researchers are tasked with demonstrating that genetically modified plants can produce enough mRNA to replace COVID-19 jabs and infuse the plants with the right dosage required to eat to replace vaccines.
Experimental mRNA vaccines will be edible, Juan Pablo Giraldo, an associate professor in UCR’s Department of Botany and Plant Sciences who is leading the research explained in a press release published by the university on Sept. 16.
“Ideally, a single plant would produce enough mRNA to vaccinate a single person,” Giraldo said. “We are testing this approach with spinach and lettuce and have long-term goals of people growing it in their own gardens,”
“Farmers could also eventually grow entire fields of it,” he added.
Last year, Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) revealed that taxpayer money is being used to develop “transgenic edible vaccines,” transforming edible plants like lettuce and spinach into factories for producing mRNA vaccines as alternatives to mRNA shots.
“Do we want humans eating vaccines that were grown in corn meant to stop pigs from getting diarrhea? I don’t think we want that to happen. Yet that almost happened, and it could happen. There’s another case where the pollen cross-contaminated another crop of corn, and 155 acres of corn had to be burned. What are the cases where we’re not discovering this? I think it’s dangerous to play God with our food,” Rep. Massie said.
State Rep. Scott Cepicky (R-Culleoka), a vocal advocate for the bill, emphasized the need for regulation during a committee meeting in February. He pointed out that if vaccines were to be included in food, such as lettuce, the state would need to ensure that consumption is properly controlled to prevent under or overdosing.
“You would have to get a prescription for that to make sure that we know how much of the lettuce you have to eat based off of your body type so we don’t under-vaccinate you, which leads to the possibility of the efficacy of the drug being compromised, or we overdose you based off how much lettuce is [eaten],” he said during a House committee meeting in February according to WKRN.
“All this does is [say] we’re going to classify these types of food sources as pharmaceuticals, so if you want to consume them you would go to your doctor and get a prescription.”
Governor Bill Lee has not yet indicated whether he will sign the bill into law. If enacted, Tennessee would be the first state to explicitly classify vaccine-containing food as a drug, setting a precedent that other states might follow depending on how this issue evolves nationally.

The Tennessee State Senate has also taken a definitive stance against the controversial topic of “chemtrails” by passing SB 2691/HB 2063.
The bill, which aims to ban the intentional release of chemicals into the atmosphere for geoengineering purposes, was sponsored by Representative Monty Fritts (R-Kingston) and Senator Steve Southerland (R-Morristown) and won approval in the Senate.

Tennessee bill pushes to ban sale of cold beer to decrease DUIs.
The proposal, SB2636, was introduced on Jan. 31.

It’s a pint of contention.
(I wonder if these people think back woods Tennesseans won’t get used to drinking warm beer. I wonder if these people don’t think that Tennesseans can’t afford to carry a cooler in the truck filled with ice. When I was in Germany, if you got more than 10 miles from a military base, you drank warm beer cause you didn’t have a choice. But that was a few years ago. Men are getting weaker and weaker.)
A bill working its way through the Tennessee legislature seeks to ban cold beer sales in the state.
The proposal, SB2636, was introduced on Jan. 31 and decreed that “a person or entity holding a beer permit…shall not sell refrigerated or cold beer at retail.”
The bill has passed the Senate twice and is now being referred to a committee, according to the state website.
SB2636 is sponsored by Republicans Sen. Paul Rose and Rep. Ron Gant.
The bill is motivated by a push to decrease DUI incidents in the state, Gant told WREG.
“We see the evidence in many accidents where alcohol is found in the car, beer cans, and beer bottles,” the politician explained.
“And we see it on the side of the road in many of our roads across the state and every county, you see the many beer bottles, beer cans that litter our highways,” he added.
In 2019, about 21.5 % of fatal traffic accidents in Tennessee involved alcohol use, according to the Tennessee Safety Resource Prosecutors.
But business owners are concerned about the bill’s potential to put a chill on their business.
“That would be very detrimental to our brewery and the beer business in general,” Andy Ashby, co-owner of Memphis Made Brewing, told WREG of the legislation.
Convenience and grocery store sales are a key part of his enterprise, Ashby explained, and shoppers largely prefer cold beer.
“There’s a saying in beer sales: Cold is gold,” he noted.
“[The bill] would have a huge impact, huge. Package sales are somewhere around 40 to 50 percent of our sales, and 90 percent of that is cold,” said Drew Barton, head brewer at Memphis Made.
If the bill passes, Memphis Made plans to contact the Tennessee Brewers Guild and hopefully push back on the move, Ashby told the outlet.

Former Tennessee Official and Spouse Plead Guilty to Illegally Producing and Selling ‘Hundreds’ of Fake Driver’s Licenses to Illegals.

A Knoxville couple admitted to conspiring to create illegal identification documents.
Cheryl Huff, 49, and Mario Paz-Mejia, 50, entered guilty pleas in the federal court on Thursday for their roles in a scheme to produce hundreds of Tennessee driver’s licenses and identification cards.
In the Eastern District of Tennessee’s U.S. District Court, Cheryl Huff and Mario Paz-Mejia faced legal repercussions under Judge Katherine A. Crytzer.
Sentencing is scheduled for May 24, 2024, where each individual could receive up to 15 years in federal prison, a $250,000 fine, and three years of supervised release.
Cheryl Huff served as the District Manager for the Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security (TDSHS). In her position, she was responsible for the issuance of legitimate driver’s licenses and identification cards in the Greater Knoxville area, according to the Department of Justice (DOJ) news release.
Mario Paz-Mejia played the intermediary role by soliciting individuals, primarily non-citizens and non-Tennessee residents, offering them illegal access to Tennessee documentation for a hefty sum of $2,500.

More from the DOJ:
Using his association with Huff, Paz-Mejia represented to his customers that, in return for $2,500, Paz-Mejia could obtain for them a Tennessee driver’s license or identification card.
Paz-Mejia also assisted his customers in obtaining false citizenship and residency documents—two requirements to obtain a Tennessee driver’s license—including fraudulent lease agreements to establish proof of Tennessee residency, and false birth certificates, Social Security cards, and driver’s licenses from other states and U.S. territories to establish proof of citizenship or legal residency in the United States.
Huff knew, or deliberately ignored a high probability, that Paz-Mejia was helping his customers obtain false citizenship and residency documents and that Paz-Mejia charged his customers money to obtain a Tennessee driver’s license or identification card.
Huff used her access to TDSHS’s internal software to confirm that the names and information on the false citizenship and residency documents used by Paz-Mejia’s customers could be used to obtain a Tennessee driver’s license or identification card.
For example, on June 23, 2021, Paz-Mejia texted Huff the name, date of birth, and personal information used on false identification documents, asking Huff to “check that please.”  Huff responded, “All of these are not on file.  They’re good.”
After Paz-Mejia’s customers acquired false citizenship and residency documents, Paz-Mejia arranged to meet them at a Knoxville-area DSC before business hours.  With Huff’s assistance, Paz-Mejia escorted his customers into DSCs before business hours, including through a backdoor employee-only entrance.
Once Paz-Mejia and his customers were inside, Huff initiated driver’s license applications for the customers using TDSHS software.  Huff also instructed subordinate DSC employees to complete applications and issue driver’s licenses to many of Paz-Mejia’s customers.
“Abusing a position of public trust to commit any federal crime, including conspiracy to unlawfully produce false identification documents, undermines the public’s confidence in government functions and creates a serious security risk,” said United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Tennessee Francis M. Hamilton III.  “Our office will aggressively prosecute government employees who abuse their trusted employment positions for personal gain.”
“I am deeply disappointed in the actions of a former Tennessee Driver Services District Manager and others who betrayed the trust and tarnished the reputation of the Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security,” said Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security Commissioner Jeff Long.
“I want to thank the departmental employees for having the courage to alert and cooperate with the Tennessee Highway Patrol’s Criminal Investigation Division on this case involving one of their co-workers.  Our agency cooperates and works closely with federal law enforcement partners and the United States Attorney’s Office to pursue justice to the fullest extent of the law.”
This prosecution is the result of an ongoing investigation by the Tennessee Highway Patrol’s Criminal Investigation Division, the United States Department of Homeland Security’s Homeland Security Investigations, the United States Postal Inspection Service, and the United States Secret Service.

Smith and Wesson Ditches Blue Massachusetts, Moves HQ to Friendlier Tennessee.

Renowned firearms manufacturer Smith & Wesson ditched deep blue Massachusetts and moved its headquarters to friendlier pastures in Tennessee. Although the move was announced in 2021, it was on Saturday that the company officially opened its new 650,000-square feet building in Maryville as part of a $125 million relocation effort.
The company has been in New England since its founding in 1852, but Massachusetts' strict gun laws are at least partly to blame for their exodus:
The gunmaker had been located in Springfield, Massachusetts, since the mid-19th century, but company officials have said legislative proposals in that state would prohibit them from manufacturing certain weapons. Massachusetts is known to have some of the country’s strictest gun laws.
I'm sure the high taxes didn't help either; there's a reason some call the state "Taxachusetts." It's also certainly not a coincidence that Tennessee is far friendlier to law-abiding gun owners than Mass.:
Smith & Wesson President and CEO Mark Smith spoke at the event Saturday, which drew a large crowd to the new facility, The Daily Times reported.
“From where I stand, the next 170 years of Smith & Wesson are looking pretty good," Smith said. “It is something special here in Tennessee."
He cited a welcoming regulatory environment and close collaboration with the Tennessee state government as a crucial piece of the plan to relocate. The company has said the new facility would create hundreds of jobs.
Tennessee has moved to loosen gun restrictions in recent years under Republican leadership. In 2021, the state passed a law to allow most adults 21 and older to carry handguns without a permit that requires first clearing a state-level background check and training.
The National Rifle Association applauded the move and congratulated the company on their ribbon-cutting ceremony:
"Congratulations to Smith & Wesson on their grand opening in Tennessee. This move is a testament to their enduring legacy, their commitment to firearm excellence, and to the importance of preserving America’s gun industry and Second Amendment rights in a fair environment," NRA Executive Director of Advancement Tyler Schropp told Fox News Digital in an exclusive comment.
As part of the opening day ceremonies, guns were naturally fired, and shooter Jerry Miculek set a world record:

Ok, you get the idea. The point is, just like Bud Light and Target learned, the power of the purse is tremendous. If you're not wanted, then why not take your money and go elsewhere?
Nice shot, Smith & Wesson.
