It’s just breaking that FBI Director Kash Patel has found a bunch of Russia-gate documents buried in a secret room at the FBI.
According to Fox News, they were in ‘burn bags’ in order to be destroyed:
FBI Director Kash Patel found a trove of sensitive documents related to the origins of the Trump–Russia probe buried in multiple “burn bags” in a secret room inside the bureau, sources told Fox News Digital.
Sources told Fox News Digital that the “burn bag” system is used to destroy documents designated as classified or higher.
Sources told Fox News Digital that multiple burn bags were found and filled with thousands of documents.
Sources told Fox News Digital that one of the documents FBI officials found in a burn bag was the classified annex to former special counsel John Durham’s final report, which includes the underlying intelligence he reviewed.
The declassification of the classified annex is being done in close coordination between CIA Director John Ratcliffe, Patel, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, Attorney General Pam Bondi and acting National Security Agency Director William Hartman.
The declassified annex will be transmitted to Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, who ultimately will release the document to the public.
Sources exclusively briefed Fox News Digital on some of the contents of the classified annex — including that the U.S. intelligence community had credible foreign sources indicating that the FBI would play a role in spreading the alleged Trump–Russia collusion narrative — before the bureau ever launched its controversial Crossfire Hurricane probe.
A source familiar with the contents of the classified annex told Fox News Digital that while it may not have been exactly clear in the moment what the intelligence collection meant, with the benefit of hindsight, it predicted the FBI’s next move “with alarming specificity.”
“Ultimately, the release of the classified annex will lend more credibility to the assertion that there was a coordinated plan inside the U.S. government to help the Clinton campaign stir up controversy connecting Trump to Russia,” the source, who was granted anonymity to discuss sensitive intelligence matters that have not yet been made public, told Fox News Digital.
“Mere days after this intelligence was collected, the FBI launched Crossfire Hurricane,” the source said. “It’s really hard to see how Brennan, Clapper and Comey are going to be able to explain this away.”
Sources told Fox News Digital that Patel and his team discovered a previously undisclosed sensitive compartmented information facility (SCIF) in the FBI headquarters.
Fox News Digital reached out to previous FBI Directors Christopher Wray and James Comey for comment and has not yet received any responses.
And yet the garbage media will continue to ignore this and explain it away, because they have been and still are complicit in this coup against President Trump.

FBI Targeting Those Responsible For Recent ‘Swatting’ Incidents

Senator Lee suggested that the incidents should be prosecuted as attempted murder.
FBI Director Kash Patel addressed recent “swatting” incidents that unfolded this week by saying that the Bureau was working to identify those responsible and bring them to justice.
The statement from Patel comes after several conservative media figures and influencers said this week that they had been swatted.

(Among those conservative media figures that I know have been “swatted” lately are Catturd™, Shawn Farash, Gunther Eagleman™, Tim Young, Libs of TikTok, Matt Van Swol, Nick Sortor, Benny Johnson, and there are many more that I don’t know.)

“Swatting” is a dangerous and illegal prank where a person contacts law enforcement and makes false claims about an event taking place at a specific address — like a mass shooting or hostage situation — with the aim of generating a large law enforcement response to that address.
U.S. Attorney Ed Martin said in a statement after some of the swatting incidents became public this week that if any of the perpetrators were discovered in the District of Columbia, they would be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) suggested on Thursday that swatting should be “prosecuted as attempted murder.”
“If you send heavily armed men to someone’s house with a false assertion that a violent crime is being committed there, you’re creating a grave risk that an innocent person will get shot,” he said.

Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ) Calls For FBI Investigation Into ActBlue

FIRST ON FOX: Rep. Andy Biggs, R-Ariz., has sent a letter to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) calling for an investigation into ActBlue, the main fundraising platform for the Democratic Party, over concerns the platform had "been used to skirt the integrity of federal campaign finance laws."
"In 2024, President Biden’s Treasury Department found hundreds of suspicious transactions with ActBlue reported by banks," Biggs said in his letter to FBI Director Kash Patel on Thursday. 

"The U.S. House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform and the Committee on House Administration have been investigating these allegations of misconduct. But the previous Administration has stalled access to the necessary documents. This week, Oversight Chairman Comer and Administration Chairman Stiles have renewed their request with Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent."
The letter cited Republican concerns that ActBlue’s verification policies could potentially allow foreign actors in countries like China, Venezuela and Russia to influence elections with straw donations.
Biggs also pointed out in his letter that nineteen state attorneys general across the country have made inquiries into ActBlue over a variety of allegations, including fraud, money laundering, fraudulent and counterfeit use of credit and debit cards, and patterns of contributions that are suspicious.
"It must be emphasized that these allegations, were they to prove true, would indicate a serious threat to the integrity of our elections, besides the victimization of American citizens," Biggs wrote to Patel. "The gravity of the allegations and their implications demand a thorough and vigorous investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation. We strongly urge an inquiry into ActBlue."
Fox News Digital reached out to ActBlue for comment but did not receive a response.
"The allegations against ActBlue are alarming and, if true, threaten the integrity of our Republic," Biggs told Fox News Digital. "I’m thankful for the work Director Patel is doing to restore our justice system, and I look forward to working with him to uncover the truth about ActBlue."
Republicans on the Committee on House Administration and other GOP officials have for months accused ActBlue of lax donor verification standards.
In a letter sent by GOP Rep. Darrell Issa of California to the Treasury Department this week, first reported by the Free Press, Issa asked the Trump administration to investigate "credible allegations" that ActBlue has violated federal law by allowing terror-linked groups to use its platform.
"Despite the detailed reporting and the reasonable suspicion that our nation’s laws had been violated, the Biden-Harris Treasury Department refused to substantively address these explosive revelations," Issa wrote.
"The undeniable and continued collaboration between ActBlue Charities and terror-tied entities amounts to the enabling of terrorism and may also constitute money-laundering crimes," Issa added.
"In addition, the flagrant inability of progressive groups to address the appearance of skirting a full range of our laws — or call out the evils of Hamas and the BDS movement — raises critical questions if the activities and coalition building of ActBlue and ActBlue Charities are in reality part of a wider commitment to financing and facilitating attacks on Israel and Jewish people in America and around the globe."
ActBlue also drew the ire of Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk in a Sunday morning post on X, where he blamed ActBlue-funded groups for the recent protests at Tesla dealerships from activists opposed to his work with the Trump administration.
"An investigation has found 5 ActBlue-funded groups responsible for Tesla ‘protests’: Troublemakers, Disruption Project, Rise & Resist, Indivisible Project and Democratic Socialists of America," Musk wrote.
Musk then named five ActBlue funders he believed were responsible for funding the protests, including liberal mega-donor George Soros.

FBI Charges Career CBP Official With Defrauding FEMA

A career Director-level employee at U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has been slapped with federal charges for allegedly scamming the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and lying to federal agents.
Serina Baker-Hill, 55, a Detroit-based CBP bigwig overseeing the Center for Excellence and Expertise over Automotive and Aerospace Engineering, thought she could pull a fast one on hardworking American taxpayers, according to the press release.
According to a freshly unsealed federal complaint, Baker-Hill exploited a federal disaster declaration after floods hit Michigan in August 2023. She applied for FEMA aid, claiming her basement was damaged and that she couldn’t live in her home while repairs were underway.
FEMA, trusting her word, handed over cash for home repairs and two months of rental assistance to cover temporary housing costs.
However, she didn’t use a dime of that money for rent, hotels, or utilities.
When questioned by federal agents from the FBI and CBP’s Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR), Baker-Hill maintained her innocence, asserting she had never committed fraud or any illegal activity against the government.
The FBI’s Detroit Border Corruption Task Force, CBP-OPR, and the Department of Homeland Security’s Office of Inspector General jointly conducted the investigation. Assistant U.S. Attorney Eaton P. Brown is prosecuting the case.

Kash Patel’s FBI Arrests U.S. Army Members For ‘Betraying’ Country

One former soldier and two active-duty U.S. Army soldiers were arrested over alleged schemes to send national defense information to China.
The Justice Department announced Thursday that Jian Zhao, and Li Tian, both active duty Army soldiers based at Joint Base Lewis-McChord in Washington, and former soldier Ruoyu Duan had been charged for stealing U.S. military secrets. They were accused of stealing top secret hard drives, information on weapon systems, and documents on missile defenses to sell to individuals based in China, the DOJ said.
“The defendants arrested today are accused of betraying our country, actively working to weaken America’s defense capabilities and empowering our adversaries in China,” said Attorney General Pam Bondi. “They will face swift, severe, and comprehensive justice.”
Tian and Duan were charged in Oregon with conspiring to commit bribery and theft of government property. Zhao was charged in Washington with conspiring to obtain and transmit national defense information, and for bribery and theft of government property.
“While bribery and corruption have thrived under China’s Communist Party, this behavior cannot be tolerated with our service members who are entrusted with sensitive military information, including national defense information,” said FBI Director Kash Patel. “The FBI and our partners will continue to work to uncover attempts by those in China to steal sensitive U.S. military information and hold all accountable who play a role in betraying our national defense.”
According to the indictment, Duan and Tian were involved in a conspiracy that began on or around November 28, 2021, to steal information on America’s operational capabilities by stealing technical manuals and other documentation. The scheme was active as recently as December 19, 2024, the DOJ said. Duan allegedly paid Tian to steal information on the Bradley and Stryker U.S. Army fighting vehicles.
Zhao is accused of selling hard drives after July 2024 marked “SECRET” and “TOP SECRET” to individuals in China for at least $10,000. He is also accused of stealing a government computer with information on the High Mobility Artillery Rocket System and information related to a potential conflict between the U.S. and China.
“These arrests underscore the persistent and increasing foreign intelligence threat facing our Army and nation,” said Brig. Gen. Rhett Cox of Army Counterintelligence Command. “Along with the Department of Justice and FBI, Army Counterintelligence Command will continue to work tirelessly to hold those accountable who irresponsibly and selfishly abandon the Army values and choose personal gain over duty to our nation.”

Attorney General Pamela Bondi Announces 29 Wanted Defendants From Mexico Taken Into U.S. Custody

Today, the United States secured custody of 29 defendants from Mexico who are facing charges in districts around the country relating to racketeering, drug-trafficking, murder, illegal use of firearms, money laundering, and other crimes. The defendants taken into U.S. custody today include leaders and managers of drug cartels recently designated as Foreign Terrorist Organizations and Specially Designated Global Terrorists, such as the Sinaloa Cartel, Cártel de Jalisco Nueva Generación (CJNG), Cártel del Noreste (formerly Los Zetas), La Nueva Familia Michoacana, and Cártel de Golfo (Gulf Cartel).  These defendants are collectively alleged to have been responsible for the importation into the United States of massive quantities of poison, including cocaine, methamphetamine, fentanyl, and heroin, as well as associated acts of violence.
“As President Trump has made clear, cartels are terrorist groups, and this Department of Justice is devoted to destroying cartels and transnational gangs,” said Attorney General Pamela Bondi. “We will prosecute these criminals to the fullest extent of the law in honor of the brave law enforcement agents who have dedicated their careers — and in some cases, given their lives — to protect innocent people from the scourge of violent cartels. We will not rest until we secure justice for the American people.”

FBI Opens Investigation Into Comey's "Honeypot" Operation

Kash Patel has opened a FBI investigation looking into James Comey’s off-the-books ‘honeypot’ operation targeting 2016 Trump campaign.

New leadership at the FBI is starting an investigation into the origins of the agency’s plan a decade ago to infiltrate the campaign of then-candidate Donald Trump using two female undercover “honeypot” agents.
The off-the-books investigation, launched in 2015 by former FBI Director James Comey, was revealed by an agency whistleblower in a protected disclosure to the House Judiciary Committee last year and first reported exclusively by The Washington Times in October.
In the intelligence community, a honeypot commonly refers to an undercover operative, usually a woman, who feigns sexual or romantic interest to obtain information from a target.
According to the whistleblower, two female FBI undercover employees infiltrated Mr. Trump’s 2016 campaign at high levels and were directed to act as “honeypots” while traveling with Mr. Trump and his campaign staff.
The Times has learned that the bureau, now led by Director Kash Patel and Deputy Director Dan Bongino, is looking for those once-undercover employees who were previously under Mr. Comey’s direction.
The FBI declined to comment.
According to the whistleblower disclosure, which The Times reviewed, the investigation differed from Crossfire Hurricane, a later FBI counterintelligence operation that looked into never-proved allegations that the campaign was colluding with Russia.

Senate Confirms Kash Patel As FBI Director

The GOP-led Senate confirmed Kash Patel to become director of the FBI, affirming President Donald Trump’s nominee to take over a bureau that has faced claims of politicization in recent years.
All but two Republicans voted in favor of Patel, resulting in a 51-49 tally. Sens. Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) and Susan Collins (R-ME) joined with the Democrats and independents in opposing the nominee.

There is a White House Press secretary briefing at 1:00 pm, the full Senate vote confirming Kash Patel is at 1:45 pm. President Trump is having a White House event at 3:00 pm and will be speaking to the Republican governors at 7:20 pm.
The Senate will vote today on Kash Patel’s nomination to lead the FBI. If confirmed, Patel will be the 18th Cabinet official approved by lawmakers since President Donald Trump’s inauguration one month ago. Hearing from the base of supporters, almost all republicans have now rallied around Patel; finally admitting the FBI needed structural reform.
A cloture vote to end debate is just completed. Mitch McConnell voted to affirm Patel, and 51-47 was the final cloture vote. The final full Senate confirmation vote is expected at 1:45pm EST and should be consistent with the cloture outcome.
