Trump ... Nikki Haley And Mike Pompeo Will NOT Be Offered Positions In His Administration

President Trump has announced on Truth Social there will be no position for former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley or Former CIA Director and Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo, in the next administration.

Nikki Haley directly blamed President Trump for the violent events during January 6, 2021, and said, “I don’t think [Trump’s] going to be in the picture,” she said, matter-of-factly. “I don’t think he can. He’s fallen so far.” […] “We need to acknowledge he let us down,” she said. “He went down a path he shouldn’t have, and we shouldn’t have followed him, and we shouldn’t have listened to him. And we can’t let that ever happen again.”
Haley cares about one thing, her own position and power – that’s it. Nikki Haley was supported and funded by infamous CIA Acting Director Mike Morell.
Mike Pompeo used his position of influence to install Senator Dan Coats as Director of National Intelligence during the first administration, with the mission objective to hamstring President Trump.
ODNI Dan Coats operated to block all declassification efforts of President Trump during the first administration until he was ultimately fired, too late, and replaced by Acting DNI Ric Grenell; later replaced by DNI John Ratcliffe.
Mike Pompeo misled President Trump about issues of national intelligence and operated a stealth mission to destroy the presidency. That agenda included lying to President Trump about military engagements, CIA activity, foreign missions and organizing military attacks without the approval of the Commander in chief.
While doing this, Mike Pompeo attempted to organize a covert assassination effort against Julian Assange, and later worked with the corrupt interests inside the Robert Mueller team and DOJ-NSD to exfiltrate Assange from the Ecuadorian embassy in London (joint black-ops mission with GCHQ) with hopes to finish the Assange operation in prison.

Haley Releases Her 97 Delegates, Urges Them to Vote for Trump.

Former ambassador to the United Nations, South Carolina governor, and '24 GOP presidential candidate Nikki Haley says she has not been invited to the Republican convention which starts July 15, but she’s releasing her 97 delegates and urging them to vote for presumptive nominee Donald Trump anyway.
She said we can’t afford to continue watching our country’s decline under a befuddled leader:
“The nominating convention is a time for Republican unity,” Haley will say in a statement. “Joe Biden is not competent to serve a second term and Kamala Harris would be a disaster for America. We need a president who will hold our enemies to account, secure our border, cut our debt, and get our economy back on track. I encourage my delegates to support Donald Trump next week in Milwaukee.”
She also posted to social media Tuesday, saying, “If you vote for Joe Biden, you really are counting on a President Harris":

https://x.com/NikkiHaleyHQ/status/1810710693957743018?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1810710693957743018%7Ctwgr%5Eb2392023f79ac2c2a99a8cbadb1852cb980add0d%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fredstate.com%2Fbobhoge%2F2024%2F07%2F09%2Fmomentum-haley-releases-her-97-delegates-urges-them-to-vote-for-trump-n2176573

She’s not bitter that she hasn't been asked to attend the convention, her spokesman said, because Trump is entitled to run that event the way he sees fit:
Asked if Haley is attending the convention, Haley spox CHANEY DENTON said that Haley “was not invited, and she’s fine with that. Trump deserves the convention he wants. She’s made it clear she’s voting for him and wishes him the best.”
Although this is sure to be welcome news to the former president, the delegates are not bound to vote for him:
While Haley is "releasing" the delegates, they may not be required to vote for Trump and may still choose to vote for Haley or back another Republican. In some cases delegates are bound to a candidate until the convention, based on state party rules.
The relationship between Trump and Haley grew contentious during her presidential campaign, and she was the last Trump challenger to drop out of the race. She did not immediately indicate at the time that she would vote for the former president—but now says his victory is a necessity:
Ms. Haley, who served as United Nations ambassador under Mr. Trump, has said that she plans to vote for Mr. Trump in November, though their relationship soured toward the end of her campaign.
She drew notable percentages of independents, Republicans and moderate Democrats in primary contests even after she had rescinded her bid. Her convention delegates include 19 people from Washington, D.C., and nine from Vermont, the two places where she won primaries.

Professional Republicans Unhappy Donald Trump Has Not Reached Out to Nikki Haley Democrats.
The apparatus of the Republican influence system is not happy that President Trump has not reached out to Nikki Haley and her coalition of Democrats in order to solicit their support. Politico outlines the unhappiness amid the Koch network that President Trump has not called them or asked for their support.

The MAGA movement should anticipate the professional Republican apparatus now looking to embed Bush-Cheney-Haley types to control the outcomes of Donald Trump, and the likelihood of a successful presidential race. Nothing angers the professional Republicans quite like ignoring them and being successful without their crustless triangle cucumber sandwiches.
WASHINGTON DC – When Nikki Haley exited the presidential race earlier this month, she issued what sounded like an ultimatum: Donald Trump needed to “earn the votes of those who did not support him,” and it was “now his time for choosing.”
So far, Trump hasn’t chosen to do much for the sake of reconciliation after calling for the party to come together. In fact, he hasn’t reached out to Haley or some of her top allies at all.
Art Pope would know. The former chair of Americans for Prosperity, the anti-Trump Republican outfit that boosted Haley in the primary, and a top GOP donor who backed Haley himself, told POLITICO the Trump campaign hasn’t reached out to him.
It’s been less than two weeks since Haley dropped out. But the lack of contact is indicative of rifts that persist even after Trump officially became the presumptive nominee this week.
As I said before, the Nikki Haley “Republicans” are not Republicans, they are Democrats and official supporters of the DC UniParty.
The overwhelming majority of votes for Nikki Haley came from Democrats who were/are going to vote for Biden anyway. So, it’s an exercise in being obtuse not to accept the reality of who exactly represented the Haley voting base. Then again, professional and intentional ignorance and strategic pretending is a trait of those skilled in gaslighting.
As a consequence of the dynamic, President Trump making any effort to court the Haley vote is an exercise in futility. Trump is right to just move on, snark at the nonsense that Haley represented, and avoid spending energy on an attempt that will generate nothing substantive in value.
One of the attributes I personally prefer about Donald Trump is his willingness to avoid the pretending nonsense. I admire the brutal and pragmatic honesty of his political worldview. We need more non-pretending if we are going to shake our nation out of the mindset of abuse created by the various systems of government.
Too many “conservative” or nationalist-minded American voters suffer from battered conservative syndrome. Too many Republican voters are comfortable playing the role of victim – pointing to the consistently appearing bruises on their arms while simultaneously trying to make the pretending Republican politicians a better sandwich.
There is a willful blindness on the part of many American people – a chosen refusal to acknowledge the implications of the unAmerican and unConstititional behaviors, actions and outcomes we are being served on a daily basis.
It can no longer be presumed to be a matter of “I can’t see what’s happening”, because a whole lot of normal Americans really are clean and articulate.
“I can’t see it” just doesn’t cut it.
We have this one election to try and stop our nation from fracturing permanently into a state of control by the assembly of Western leftists. It’s Americanism -vs- Communism in 2024, because the global cleaving is inverting the freedom dynamic.
The proverbial “Western” alliance of government interests has seized the institutions of power and weaponized them against the people.  Donald Trump represents the opportunity to disassemble their construct with extreme prejudice.  There is no unification possible with evil enterprise.

‘The swamp has claimed their queen’ Haley wins DC.

Nikki Haley has clinched her first win in the GOP presidential nominating contest this Sunday, as projected by NBC News and AP.
Haley has triumphed in the DC swamp primary, a result that her campaign is eager to use as a launching pad for the upcoming Super Tuesday races, where a total of 15 states and American Samoa will participate.
Haley’s campaign managed to garner a whopping 63% of the votes from D.C. RINOS, leaving Trump with 33%. The voter turnout saw just over 2,000 D.C.
Finally, Haley can now start bragging about “winning” the swamp.

The Hill reported:
The win for the former United Nations ambassador breaks a streak of more than a half dozen victories for former President Trump to start out the GOP contests for the nomination. It’s a much-needed triumph for Haley to show she can top Trump somewhere, but she still has a long road ahead of her.
She has pledged to stay in the race at least through Super Tuesday this week, when more than a dozen states will vote. But she was not able to win any of the early-voting states in January and February, and no upcoming state obviously jumps out as a clear opportunity for her to win.
Still, the win in the winner-take-all D.C. primary will give her all of its 19 delegates. Voting in the District took place across three days from Friday to Sunday.
Trump still has an early lead in delegates attained that will likely grow significantly on Tuesday with the additional states voting. Candidates need at least 1,215 delegates to mathematically clinch the Republican nomination.
The Democratic primary in D.C. will take place in June.
A corrupt place like Washington, D.C., is the only place where Neocon Nikki Haley can win. That should tell you everything you need to know.
Trump still needs 1,215 delegates to win the GOP nomination, according to NBC News.

So, Nikki Haley is still running around doing the Democrat Party and Deep States’ dirty work and trashing President Trump on a daily basis.
On Saturday, Nikki Haley lost three more contests to President Donald Trump in Idaho, Missouri, and Michigan. It was another clean sweep for Trump.
Despite her losses, Haley pulled back on her promise to endorse her former boss, Donald Trump – and suggested she may stay in the primary race until July.
It should be noted that it is not Republican support that is keeping Nikki in the race. It’s Democrat support.
In New Hampshire, Democrat voters admitted to voting for Nikki Haley in the primary election.
In South Carolina, once again, nearly half of her voters were Biden voters.

I read a small article this morning that said that President Trump had to go see his personal physician for a lingering problem that began bothering him about a month ago. His right leg has been bothering him, actually causing a slight limp from time to time in the evenings after a long day OF KICKING ASS.

“It Doesn’t Make Sense!” – CNN Panel Has Epic Meltdown After Trump Gets Double the Number of Votes Ever Received in South Carolina.

CNN had a meltdown after Trump crushed Nikki Haley in her home state in South Carolina’s presidential primary.
Trump scooped up the 50 delegates in South Carolina after he was the projected winner one minute after the polls closed.
It wasn’t even close. Trump won South Carolina by double digits: Trump 59% – Haley 40%
Trump has swept four states so far: Iowa, New Hampshire, Nevada, and South Carolina.
Despite losing every primary so far to Trump, former UN Ambassador and South Carolina governor Nikki Haley has vowed to stay in the race.
Trump brought the house down with a fiery victory speech Saturday night.
“I was just informed that we got double the number of votes that has ever been received in the great state of South Carolina,” Trump said on Saturday night in a victory speech.

CNN wasn’t taking Trump’s historic victory very well.
The CNN panel of pseudo-intellectuals, racists, and bigots went on and on about how humiliating it was for Senator Tim Scott to be on stage next to Trump after his victory in South Carolina.
Jonah Goldberg called Tim Scott “the black guy” while David Axelrod said Senator Scott “subjugated” himself Saturday night.
“It is the greatest political comeback in history,” Trump’s former White House Communications Director Alyssa Farah Griffin said.
“It doesn’t make sense!” a panelist shouted.

Nikki Haley After Nevada Loss: ‘Trump Rigged It.’
(I think she also said that Nevada wasn’t worth a day or a dollar.)

Former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley said in an interview on Wednesday, following her loss to “none of these candidates” in the Nevada Republican Party presidential primary, that the process in Nevada was “rigged” by former President Donald Trump.
Haley won 31% of the vote in the state, while 63% of those who participated in the primary chose “None of These Candidates,” with 89% of the vote counted, according to The New York Times. No delegates are awarded in the state’s primary, only the state’s caucus, which Haley did not sign up for.
When asked if the loss “hurt,” Haley responded: “No, I mean, Nevada, it’s such a scam. They were supposed to have a primary. Trump rigged it so that the GOP chairman, who’s been indicted, would go and create a caucus. We knew months ago that we weren’t going to spend a day or a dollar in Nevada, because it wasn’t worth it.”
“And so we didn’t even count Nevada. That wasn’t anything we were looking at,” she said. “We knew that was rigged from the start. Our focus is on South Carolina, Michigan, and Super Tuesday. So, if you look what we did in Iowa and you look at what we did in New Hampshire, we’re continuing to grow. That’s what matters, I think, more than anything else.”
“But look at what happened this week,” she continued. “Here you have, Republicans lost a major vote on the border, Republicans lost a major vote on Israel. Donald Trump was found that he will not have immunity in all of these court cases coming up. The RNC chair is fired. All of this chaos is happening around us and Donald Trump’s fingerprints are on every bit of it. We can’t continue as the Republican Party to go forward with this chaos. You don’t defeat Democrat chaos with Republican chaos. And that’s why we’ve got to see a change.”

Nikki Haley Loses to “NONE OF THESE CANDIDATES” in Nevada Primary.

Perhaps the most embarrassing moment of Nikki Haley’s entire political career occurred Tuesday night in the Nevada Primary, and President Trump was not even on the ballot.
While the Nevada Primary was essentially a beauty contest with no actual delegates at stake, it offered Haley an opportunity to claim a “win.” She was the lone “major” candidate on the ballot.
The only other people on the ballot were long-departed candidates such as Mike Pence and Tim Scott. Voters also could select “None of These Candidates.”
Haley ended up getting destroyed anyway. It turns out Nevada GOP voters prefer nobody over Haley in a landslide.
Trump will compete in the Nevada Caucuses on Thursday, with 26 delegates at stake. He is assured of capturing them all.
The competing Republican ballots are the result of a conflict between the state Republican Party (which preferred the caucus) and a 2021 state law that mandates a primary must be held, as Reuters notes.
Haley will not be on the caucus ballot so future embarrassment will have to wait until the South Carolina Primary on February 24.

Liz Cheney Urges Warmonger Nikki Haley To ‘Stay In The Race’ To ‘Defeat’ Trump.

Former Wyoming Republican Rhinocrat Congresswoman Liz Cheney encouraged former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley to stay in the presidential primary on the left-wing podcast “Pod Save America” Friday.
“I hope she stays in the race as long as she has to,” Cheney said the day after the New Hampshire contest, urging Haley to compete “through Super Tuesday.”
Trump carried the Granite State primary on Tuesday by 11 points after sweeping the Iowa caucuses last week. On “Pod Save America,” Cheney said she wasn’t making an official endorsement in the race, but trashed former President Donald Trump as an “existential threat” who can’t carry the general election.
“So we need to make sure we’re challenging him and working to defeat him at every step of the way,” Cheney said. “And right now, Nikki Haley is in this fight and I think she ought to stay in it.”
“Are you officially supporting Haley over Trump now that it’s just the two of them left?” Cheney was asked.
“I haven’t made any formal endorsements at this point, but certainly I would never support or vote for Donald Trump again,” Cheney said.
Cheney went on the left-wing program to promote her latest book, “Oath and Honor: A Memoir and a Warning,” out in December. The book offers the first-hand tale of the ex-Republican conference chair battling with Trump and his supporters before constituents ousted her from office. Trump, she wrote, was “the most dangerous man ever to inhabit the Oval Office.”
The congresswoman-turned-professor at the University of Virginia did not rule out an independent presidential run herself.
“We’ll see what happens,” she said. “My number one priority is defeating [Trump] and I think that’s going to guide whatever ultimately I decide I’m going to do.”
When asked whether that means officially supporting Democrats this November, Cheney referenced her support for Democrat candidates in the 2022 midterms. That year, Cheney backed former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s effort to maintain Democrats’ majority. In the run-up to her 2022 re-election primary, Wyoming Republicans voted to no longer recognize Cheney as a member of the GOP.
“What I have done,” she said, “is support people that I believe are going to defend the Constitution, and I did that with respect to Abigail Spanberger and Elissa Slotkin.” The two far-left lawmakers survived re-election to the lower chamber, where Republicans hold a six-seat majority. Spanberger is now running for governor of Virginia and Slotkin is campaigning to represent Michigan in the Senate.

While I’m thankful for the Republican primary wins in IA and NH, the percentages of voters showing up in each state was depressing. In IA, which you have to take in consideration that the weather was the worst it had been in a very long time, the Republican turnout of registered voters was 15%. In NH, the  turnout was less than 15%, no excuse there, the weather was great. I surely hope that Republicans realize quickly that you can’t just hope somebody else shows up. 15% won’t win the race and the stakes haven’t been higher in my lifetime. The Damnorats say “Democracy is on the ballot.” In reality, THE REPUBLIC is on the ballot. If we don’t win this one, my feelings are, we won’t ever have another chance.

Trump Wins New Hampshire GOP Primary.
(This is awesome. Trump hasn’t won yet but that outcome is the most likely at this point.)

Former President Donald Trump won the first-in-the-nation primary in New Hampshire on Tuesday night, beating his former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley.
The race was called as Trump leads Haley 54.1% to 45.0% with 18% of the votes counted, according to The New York Times.
Leading up to the primary, polls briefly showed that Haley was within striking distance of the former president in the state. The trajectory of the New Hampshire primary changed after Trump captured a strong win in the Iowa Caucuses last week and Haley came in third place behind Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.
The results from Iowa, combined with DeSantis suspending his campaign this week and endorsing the former president, further extended the former president’s lead in the state.
New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu, who endorsed Haley, lowered the expectations for her heading into the week after previously declaring that Haley would win in a “landslide.”
CNN said that the exit polling it conducted in New Hampshire found that a staggering 70% of the people who voted for Haley were not registered Republicans.

The remaining primary slate will heavily favor Trump over Haley, who relied on independents, moderates, and secular voters to come in second place in New Hampshire.
The next contest is in Nevada, where Haley opted to not participate in the caucus and instead signed up to do the state’s primary where she will win no delegates, according to Politico.

DeSantis v. Haley on the Constitution.
A clarifying exchange.

Too often, presidential debates don’t focus on the matters of greatest importance—such as candidates’ familiarity with, and devotion to, our founding documents. During Wednesday night’s Iowa debate, however, one question invited answers that struck directly at these crucial matters.
The debate, occurring just five days before the Iowa caucuses, was a one-on-one duel between Ron DeSantis and Nikki Haley, as Vivek Ramaswamy didn’t qualify and Donald Trump declined to attend. About two-thirds of the way through the debate, CNN’s Jake Tapper observed, “Two years after losing the 2020 election, Donald Trump wrote on social media, ‘A massive fraud of this type and magnitude allows for the termination of all rules, regulations and articles, even those found in the Constitution.’”
This was clearly an indefensible statement by Trump. Two days later he tried to walk it back, suggesting that he had been falsely quoted. But he’d plainly said it.
Tapper then asked each candidate, “[I]s there any meaningful difference in how you and Donald Trump view the Constitution?”
DeSantis’s knowledge of, and regard for, the Constitution shone through in his answer. He seemed completely comfortable talking about the founders’ extraordinary handiwork. Haley, in contrast, gave the impression that she’d never really studied the Constitution and perhaps hadn’t even read its four pages all the way through.

Tapper first addressed the question to Haley, who replied, “I mean, look, you take an oath to the Constitution.” She then immediately switched to talking about how she thought January 6 was “a terrible day,” the need for fair elections, and how she thought Biden won the election, before finally saying, “But at the end of the day, I will always defend and fight for the Constitution. That’s what we should do as Americans.” And that’s all she had to say about the Constitution.
Tapper replied, “A clarification, Governor: Is there any meaningful difference in how you and Donald Trump view the Constitution?”
Apparently unable to think of any way in which this might be true, or to think of anything to say about the Constitution whatsoever, Haley then replied,
Well, I mean, I think that he says January 6th was a beautiful day. I don’t think it was a beautiful day. I think you look at that. He thinks that he could go and bring in—the fact that he wanted to change what the states did, the fact that he wanted to overturn the elections in D.C., those votes happen at the state level. You don’t ever allow in D.C. for those votes to be changed at the federal level. States’ rights matter.
This did not exactly evoke the tone or substance of the Lincoln-Douglas debates.
Tapper then moved on, asking the same question of DeSantis. The Florida governor replied, “My role model for how to [view] the Constitution is George Washington. He said the Constitution is the guide that I will never abandon.” DeSantis then recalled his own commissioning ceremony to become a U.S. Navy officer: “You raise that hand, you put that left hand on the Bible. And it’s interesting: The oath doesn’t say that you’re going to defend the shores of the United States, or engage in military conflict. The oath simply says that you will support and defend the Constitution of the United States.”
This is the very point that I used to make to cadets on day one of the core American government class that I taught at the U.S. Air Force Academy. I’d remind the students that they would soon be taking an oath to support the document that the founders wrote during those four fateful months in the summer of 1787. Since they would be pledging to lay down their lives in defense of that document if necessary, I suggested, it was presumably crucial for them to understand what that document actually said. (Haley would probably have benefitted from that class.)
Turning back to Trump’s comment, DeSantis then said, “You can’t just terminate the Constitution. I mean, I know he does, you know, word vomit from time to time on social media, but obviously I will uphold the Constitution.”
DeSantis then pivoted to the genuine constitutional threat that our nation faces: the threat from the Left (which I’ve written about at the Claremont Review of Books). He highlighted the way that executive officials, following the foolish and shortsighted guidance of the public health establishment, trampled all over Americans’ constitutional rights under cover of the COVID-19 emergency. In this vein, DeSantis said,
And I think it’s fine to criticize Donald Trump, and I know the media brings this up a lot. But you know who else deserves to be criticized? The people that violated the Constitution during COVID to lock people out of schools, to destroy businesses, to force masks on people, to try to force vaccines. I’m going to bring a reckoning to all these agencies. The CDC, the NIH, the FDA, they harm people in this country.
A few minutes later, DeSantis demonstrated that he recognizes a further great threat to the Constitution from the Left: the effort to impose a “climate change” regime by executive fiat.
Tapper asked a longwinded “climate change” question that suggested universal agreement among experts that large swaths of the Earth were about to go underwater. At the end, he asked DeSantis, “[A]s President, would you do anything to deal with the underlying cause, which scientists agree requires cutting carbon emissions?”
Without any lead-in and without paying any lip service to Tapper’s framing of the issue, DeSantis immediately replied: “So, on day one as President, we take Biden’s Green New Deal. We tear it up, and we throw it in the trash can.”
This is how one properly deals with extraconstitutional presidential or bureaucratic decrees. America is a republic, which DeSantis seems to understand more fully and deeply than either Haley or Trump—and certainly far more deeply than Biden the Imperious.
In the end, voters will ultimately get to decide which man or woman takes the oath to “faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States” and to “preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.” It’s easy to forget that fulfilling this constitutional responsibility, even more than pursuing particular policy preferences, is the essence of the proper presidential role.

Ron DeSantis OBLITERATES Nikki Haley in new ad before the debate.

The title to the page is click bait. He did put out a good ad, but when people put “obliterate” in the headlines, you automatically know they are liars.

The ad shows Haley denying she said something and then the proof that she said exactly that.
DeSantis tweeted the ad out saying “Nikki Haley wants you to believe her over your own lyin’ eyes.”

If you're one of the few that's on the fence about Nikki Haley, here's a couple of comments from her past that should help you get on over the fence.

Brett Baier asked if the candidates if they would support Trump if he is both convicted and the nominee.
Vivek jumped first, Haley, Scott, and then whoever that dude is on the right side. After DeSantis saw their was momentum, he raised his hand, and Christie after that.
My personal opinion is that Ramaswamy and DeSantis were the winners of the debate with Vivek coming in first.
Christie was almost booed off the stage twice.

Black Conservatives praise SCOTUS decision striking down government-sanctioned racism.

Black conservatives praised the Supreme Court’s Thursday decision to strike down government mandated race-based admissions policies at colleges and universities.
The court ruled so-called “affirmative action policies” violate the Equal Protection Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment. While liberals lamented the ruling and claimed it will bring segregation, many black conservatives have celebrated.
Ambassadors with the Project 21 Black Leadership Network called the case “a 21st century Brown v. Board moment.”
“Today we have a 21st century Brown v. Board moment,” Project 21 Chairman Horace Cooper said, according to its press release. “Finally, the Court has ruled that colleges and universities will have to use only methods that are ‘race-neutral’ for admissions and will no longer be able to discriminate against or in favor of applicants based on their race.”
“No student should have to worry that they will be prevented from entry into college because of their race, and thanks to today’s ruling, no student will,” he added.
“Today was clearly a victory for the country,” added Donna Jackson, Project 21’s director of membership development. “Fixing our college admission process shouldn’t start with affirmative action initiatives; it should start with accountability at the K-12 level. The process clearly punished success and rewarded failure. Merit-based admissions ensures we are competitive not only in the marketplace, but in the world where innovation is needed. Setting low expectations for our students only creates low performance outcomes. We must always strive to challenge the next generation to ensure American greatness.”
Other prominent black Americans applauded the court’s decision.
“I applaud the Supreme Court’s landmark ruling today that will ensure college admissions are based on a student’s merits, not the color of their skin,” Republican Virginia Lt. Gov Winsome Sears tweeted. “Students across America, regardless of their background, will now have access to the best educational opportunities available and be judged on their academic achievements and the content of their character — as they should be. Today’s decision is a tremendous victory for our country and gives our children a hope and a future. America continues to work toward her declared ideal that all men are created equal.”

“This is the day we understand that being judged by the content of our character, not the color of our skin, is what our Constitution intended,” Republican presidential candidate Tim Scott said. “Today’s SCOTUS decision on Affirmative Action is good news for every single corridor of this nation and one we should celebrate. I thank God Almighty that America continues to work towards being that more perfect union. The good news in our nation is anyone from anywhere at any time can rise above and beyond their circumstances to live out their American Dream.”

Other minority Republican candidates, including Nikki Haley and Vivek Ramaswamy, both of whom are of Indian descent, praised the decision.
“The world admires America because we value freedom & opportunity,” Haley said. “SCOTUS re-affirmed those values today. Picking winners & losers based on race is fundamentally wrong. This decision will help every student—no matter their background—have a better opportunity to achieve the American dream.”

“Affirmative action is the single greatest form of institutional racism in America today,” Ramaswamy said. “The Supreme Court just struck it down in college admissions. As President, I will end it in every sphere of American life. Meritocracy and ‘equity’ are fundamentally incompatible. Mark my words: ‘elite’ universities will now start to play complex games to achieve the same results using shadow tactics like deprioritizing test scores. This is unlawful and I will instruct the Justice Department to end these illegal practices.”
