An active shooter this morning ambushed Border Patrol agents in McAllen, Texas. The shooter had a rifle and was wearing tactical gear, according to Bill Melugin with Fox News.
Thankfully, the shooter is no more and the agents were not injured. There was a McAllen police officer who was shot, but he is in stable condition.
DHS has issued a statement, according to Melugin:
“This morning, an individual opened fired at the entrance of the United States Border Patrol sector annex in McAllen, Texas. Both Border Patrol agents and local police helped neutralize the shooter. This is an ongoing investigation led by the FBI. More information will be shared as it becomes available.”

October 7th Mastermind ‘Eliminated,’ Israel Defense Forces Say
Israel Defense Forces announced on Saturday that Hakham Muhammad Issa Al-Issa — one of the Hamas terrorists who helped to plan the October 7 massacre and train those who carried it out — had been “eliminated.”
“Throughout the war, and over the past few days, Issa served as Head of the Combat Support Headquarters, and advanced aerial and naval terrorist attacks against Israeli civilians and IDF troops operating in the Gaza Strip,” the statement continued.
“The IDF and ISA will continue to operate to locate and eliminate all terrorists from the different terrorist organizations who took part in the brutal October 7th massacre,” the IDF concluded.

Israel Eliminates Many Top Hamas Leaders Following Ceasefire Collapse
Israel eliminated more than a dozen Hamas leaders in the week after the Israeli Defense Forces resumed airstrikes and ground operations following the collapse of the ceasefire.
Many experts speculate that Israel was able to use the two-month ceasefire as an opportunity to gather intelligence about the whereabouts of Hamas leaders. Many of those killed were key to maintaining Hamas’ control over Gaza’s population, beyond just its militant operations. This signals Israel’s determination to dismantle both the group’s political and military grip on the territory.
Defense Minister Israel Katz threatened last week to annex parts of the Gaza Strip if Hamas continues to refuse to release the 59 hostages held by the terror group.
“I have instructed the IDF to seize additional areas in Gaza, evacuate the population, and expand security zones around Gaza to protect Israeli communities and IDF soldiers,” Katz said, according to The Jerusalem Post. “The more Hamas persists in its refusal to release the hostages, the more territory it will lose, which will be annexed to Israel.”
In addition to air strikes, IDF troops have begun ground activities in central and southern Gaza to create a buffer zone between the north and south of the strip.
On the first night of air strikes, Israel killed four senior Hamas officials including Essam al-Da’alis, Hamas’s political Gazan prime minister; Mahmoud Marzouk Ahmed Abu-Watfa, the Minister of Internal Affairs; Bahajat Hassan Mohammed Abu Sultan, Head of Hamas’ Internal Security Forces; and Ahmed Amar Abdullah Alhata, Hamas Minister of Justice.
Al-Da’alis was acting as a defacto prime minister and replaced Rawhi Mushtaha who was eliminated by Israel in July 2024. He was responsible for the integration of all Hamas’ branches and their uses for terrorist purposes. He also served as the key point of contact with senior Hamas terrorists outside of the strip, according to the IDF.

Who Doesn’t Love A Good Flyover?
The first video shows the IDF airstrike in which Hassan Nasrallah, the Hezbollah terrorist leader, was reduced to rubbish.

This video is Nasrallah’s funeral (5 months later) during which the IDF did a low, slow flyover with 2 F15's and 2 F35's, as if to say, ‘we’re watching all the time and we can get you no matter where you are.’

IDF killed Hamas terrorists inside a command and control center that was formerly a school. At least 3 jihadis were UN employees.
The United Nations frenziedly condemned a new Israel Defense Forces (IDF) strike as one of Israel’s “dramatic violations of international humanitarian law.” The problem is that the UN workers killed were also Hamas terrorists.
The UN and many other organizations and governments love to emphasize that the IDF strikes schools and “aid workers.” What they are not telling you is that Hamas jihadis have long used schools and other “civilian” buildings in Gaza as terrorist bases and that the “aid workers” almost always turn out to be active terrorists. That appears to be the case once again with the IDF strike this week, where at least three UNRWA “workers” killed were Hamas jihadis.
UNRWA is absolutely infested with Hamas operatives, according to international human rights lawyer Hillel Neuer. As JihadWatch has noted, terrorists specifically place military targets in humanitarian zones so that, if IDF strikes, they can immediately condemn Israel. So whenever the UN starts wailing that the IDF causelessly killed their humanitarian workers while they were operating a school or shelter, always fact-check that claim. It will almost certainly turn out to be false.
According to the state of Israel, which is a more reliable source on these topics than is the Hamas-loving UN, so far the confirmed casualties in the precision strike are terrorists — including at least three UNRWA “workers.”
The school:
UN chief Antonio Guterres, who lies and funds terrorists for a living, mourned, “What's happening in Gaza is totally unacceptable. A school turned shelter for around 12,000 people was hit by Israeli airstrikes again today. Six of our @UNRWA colleagues are among those killed. These dramatic violations of international humanitarian law need to stop now.”
The school was reportedly not a “humanitarian shelter” so much as it was a Hamas base. Israel will even endanger its own men rather than kill Gazan civilians, despite the fact that the majority of Gazans strongly support Hamas and jihad.
The state of Israel posted on X, “IDF: Yesterday (Wednesday), with the direction of IDF and ISA intelligence, the IAF conducted a precise strike on terrorists who were operating inside a command and control center embedded within a compound that previously served as the Al Jaouni School in the area of Nuseirat in central Gaza.” It’s all too typical for Hamas to turn schools into Hamas bases.
Israel’s post continued, “Upon receiving reports claiming that local Palestinian UNRWA workers were killed as a result of the strike, the IDF requested that the agency provide details and names of the workers, in order to thoroughly review the claim. To date, no answers have been provided by UNRWA despite repeated requests.”
But three UNRWA employees have been confirmed among the terrorists killed. The state of Israel provided a list:
Thus far, a number of Hamas terrorists were confirmed to have been eliminated in the strike, including:
1. Aysar Karadia, a terrorist in Hamas' Military Wing and Internal Security Forces.
2. Muhammad Adnan Abu Zayd, a terrorist in Hamas' Military Wing who was responsible for launching mortars at IDF troops and the State of Israel, previously served as an operative in Hamas’ naval forces, and was simultaneously an UNRWA employee.
3. Bassem Majed Shaheen, the head of a terrorist cell in Hamas' Military Wing who took part in the October 7th Massacre in southern Israel.
4. Amar al-Jadili, a terrorist in Hamas' Military Wing and Internal Security Forces.
5. Akram Saber al-Ghalaydi, a terrorist in Hamas' Military Wing and Internal Security Forces.
6. Muhammad Issa Abu al-Amir, a terrorist in Hamas' Military Wing who took part in the October 7th Massacre in southern Israel.
7. Sharif Salam, a terrorist in Hamas' Military Wing.
8. Yasser Ibrahim Abu Sharar, a terrorist in Hamas' Military Wing and an operative in Hamas' emergency bureau in Nuseirat, who was simultaneously an UNRWA employee.
9. Ayad Matar, a terrorist in Hamas' Military Wing and simultaneously an UNRWA employee.

Israel Kills Hamas Commander Wissam Farhat in Renewed Gaza Offensive.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced Saturday that it had killed Hamas commander Wissam Farhat, who was involved in planning the October 7 terror attack and had been involved in terrorism against Israel for almost three decades.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has promised that Israel will kill every Hamas member involved in the October 7 attack.
Farhat was arrested in 1995 while driving a truck full of explosives for use in a terror attack against Israel. Hamas claimed later that he had divulged the location of another Hamas commander in Gaza City, who was later killed in an explosion.
Once he was released from prison in Israel, Farhat found his way back into the organization, and was responsible for the deaths of both Israeli soldiers and Israeli civilians.
In a statement, the IDF and the Israel Security Agency [ISA] said:
Earlier today, following precise IDF and ISA intelligence, IAF fighter jets eliminated Hamas’ Shejaiya Battalion Commander, Wessam Farhat.
Farhat began his command over the battalion in 2010 and commanded it during Operation “Protective Edge” – during which he ordered terrorists to target IDF soldiers in Shejaiya, including a dual attack that resulted in the deaths of six IDF soldiers.
He took part in the planning of the October 7th massacre, during which, he directed Hamas “Nuhkba” terrorists to infiltrate the Nahal Oz Kibbutz and IDF post. In addition, Farhat was one of the masterminds of the 2002 terror attack on Mechinat Atzmona, in which five Israeli civilians were killed. Moreover, he was one of the masterminds of the anti-tank missile terror attack on a civilian bus in Nahal Oz in 2011, in which an Israeli child was killed.
In 1995, while he was on his way to carry out a suicide attack in Israel, Farhat was apprehended by security forces and imprisoned in an Israeli prison for ten years. Following his return to Gaza, he worked in rocket production for the Hamas terrorist organization.
Since the beginning of the war, the IDF and ISA have significantly degraded the Shejaiya Battalion’s capabilities, including the elimination of their senior commanders and the striking of terror infrastructure and weapons.
Israel resumed its Gaza offensive after Hamas broke a seven-day truce on Friday morning. There are still thought to be 136 hostages held by Hamas and other terror organizations in Gaza — including some women, whom Hamas says are soldiers.
