Breaking: President Trump Announces Ceasefire Between India And Pakistan
President Donald Trump announced early Saturday morning that talks facilitated by the United States have led to a "full and immediate ceasefire" between India and Pakistan.
The news comes just days after India launched missile strikes on Pakistan-administered Kashmir and Pakistani military bases, a move escalating tensions after a deadly militant attack in Indian-controlled Kashmir, which India blames on Pakistan.
Pakistan retaliated with drone and missile attacks on Indian military targets, marking the most intense conflict between the nuclear-armed neighbors in decades. Both nations accused each other of initiating the attacks, prompting international calls for de-escalation amid fears of a broader war.
The United States offered to start "constructive talks" between the two nations, leading to today's announcement.
Donald Trump, a consistent and unwavering proponent of peace throughout both terms as President, scores yet another impressive victory on foreign policy with this announcement.
Deputy Prime Minister of Pakistan Ishaq Dar confirmed the ceasefire deal with the BBC.
According to the outlet, Dar said, "Pakistan has always strived for peace and security in the region without compromising on its sovereignty and territorial integrity!"
Secretary of State Marco Rubio praised both India and Pakistan for choosing a path of de-escalation and indicated that talks will continue between the nuclear-armed nations on a host of other matters.

Israel Eliminates Many Top Hamas Leaders Following Ceasefire Collapse
Israel eliminated more than a dozen Hamas leaders in the week after the Israeli Defense Forces resumed airstrikes and ground operations following the collapse of the ceasefire.
Many experts speculate that Israel was able to use the two-month ceasefire as an opportunity to gather intelligence about the whereabouts of Hamas leaders. Many of those killed were key to maintaining Hamas’ control over Gaza’s population, beyond just its militant operations. This signals Israel’s determination to dismantle both the group’s political and military grip on the territory.
Defense Minister Israel Katz threatened last week to annex parts of the Gaza Strip if Hamas continues to refuse to release the 59 hostages held by the terror group.
“I have instructed the IDF to seize additional areas in Gaza, evacuate the population, and expand security zones around Gaza to protect Israeli communities and IDF soldiers,” Katz said, according to The Jerusalem Post. “The more Hamas persists in its refusal to release the hostages, the more territory it will lose, which will be annexed to Israel.”
In addition to air strikes, IDF troops have begun ground activities in central and southern Gaza to create a buffer zone between the north and south of the strip.
On the first night of air strikes, Israel killed four senior Hamas officials including Essam al-Da’alis, Hamas’s political Gazan prime minister; Mahmoud Marzouk Ahmed Abu-Watfa, the Minister of Internal Affairs; Bahajat Hassan Mohammed Abu Sultan, Head of Hamas’ Internal Security Forces; and Ahmed Amar Abdullah Alhata, Hamas Minister of Justice.
Al-Da’alis was acting as a defacto prime minister and replaced Rawhi Mushtaha who was eliminated by Israel in July 2024. He was responsible for the integration of all Hamas’ branches and their uses for terrorist purposes. He also served as the key point of contact with senior Hamas terrorists outside of the strip, according to the IDF.

BREAKING: Ceasefire Deal Has Been Signed
The ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas has been signed by all parties, including the US and Qatar.
This means the first hostages to be released will be on Monday, Trump’s Inauguration day.
Here’s more from the Jerusalem Post:
Representatives of Israel, Hamas, the US, and Qatar have officially signed the hostage deal and Gaza ceasefire in Doha, the Prime Minister’s Office confirmed in a statement Friday morning.
According to the statement, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has been informed of the agreement and instructed to convene the Political-security cabinet, followed by a government meeting to approve the plan.
Currently, the government plenum is set to vote on the measure on Saturday, which would delay the release of the first three hostages until Monday, rather than Sunday as initially planned.
The government cited last-minute disagreements with Hamas as the reason for the delay in voting on the matter.
The vote is expected to cause significant opposition in the government, with three ministers already promising to quit if the Israel-Hamas war does not continue.
Netanyahu released a statement expressing his appreciation to the negotiating team, as well as confirming that the families of the hostages were informed of the agreement.
Additionally, the Coordinator of Prisoners of War and Missing Persons has begun preparations to accept the returned hostages back into the country.
“The State of Israel is committed to achieving all the goals of the war, including the return of all our kidnapped people – both living and dead,” the statement concluded.

Israel Debunks Proposal Biden Claims They Made To End War.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office debunked a claim that President Joe Biden made on social media Friday afternoon when the president posted a proposal that he claimed Israel made to the Hamas terrorist organization to end the war in Gaza.
“Israel has now offered a roadmap to an enduring ceasefire – and the release of all the hostages,” Biden claimed. “Yesterday, this proposal was transmitted by Qatar to Hamas. Today, I want to lay out its terms for the world.”
The 81-year-old posted a graphic on X that claimed the proposal was comprised of the following three phases:
Phase 1
• A complete ceasefire
• Withdrawal of Israeli forces from populated areas in Gaza
• Release of some hostages and some remains of hostages
• Palestinian civilians can return to their homes in Gaza
• A surge in humanitarian aid
Phase 2
• A permanent end to hostilities
• Exchange for the release of remaining living hostages
• Israeli forces withdraw from Gaza
Phase 3
• Major reconstruction plan for Gaza
• Final remains of hostages are returned to their families
Netanyahu’s office debunked the graphic published by Biden, saying that its proposal allowed “Israel to continue the war until all its objectives are achieved, including the destruction of Hamas’s military and governing capabilities.”
“The actual proposal put forward by Israel, including the conditional transition from one phase to the next, allows Israel to uphold these principles,” the statement continued.
Nearly 12 hours later, Netanyahu’s office issued a second statement that was even more pointed in countering Biden’s claims.
“Israel’s conditions for ending the war have not changed: The destruction of Hamas military and governing capabilities, the freeing of all hostages and ensuring that Gaza no longer poses a threat to Israel,” the statement said. “Under the proposal, Israel will continue to insist these conditions are met before a permanent ceasefire is put in place. The notion that Israel will agree to a permanent ceasefire before these conditions are fulfilled is a non-starter.”

IDF Pulls (Most) Ground Troops From Southern Gaza, Stresses ‘War Is Not Over’ Until Hostages Are Free.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) insisted on Sunday that the war against Hamas is not coming to a close following reports of a ground troop withdrawal from southern Gaza.
Lt. Col. Peter Lerner, a spokesperson for the IDF, reportedly told the BBC that the military completed its mission in the Khan Younis area, leading to a rotation of troops while a focus of the campaign remains on the southern city of Rafah.
“It is a decline in the forces but there are more operations that need to be conducted. Rafah is clearly a stronghold. We need to dismantle Hamas’ capabilities wherever they are,” Lerner said.
“This is another stage in the war effort” in which the IDF’s campaign is “continuously evolving,” he continued, adding, “The war is not over. War can only be over when they [hostages] come home and when Hamas is gone.”
IDF forces have been fighting in Gaza for six months after Hamas launched an attack on Israel in October that killed roughly 1,200 people. An IDF spokesperson told Newsweek on Friday a little more than half of the approximately 250 hostages taken are still being held.
The Times of Israel reported on Sunday the IDF had withdrawn all of its “maneuvering ground forces” from Gaza, leaving just one brigade to protect a corridor that bisects the territory, cutting the northern part off from the rest of the strip.
Holly Williams, a reporter for CBS News, said the remaining Israeli troops are on Gaza’s border with Israel and noted that a colleague informed her that people can “move freely” from southern Gaza up to central Gaza for the first time in three months.
John Kirby, a National Security Council spokesman, told ABC News that the U.S. believes the pullout is “really just about rest and refit for these troops” after four months of fighting and “not necessarily … indicative of some coming new operation for these troops.”
Israel has been gearing up for an invasion of Rafah, where it was estimated that more than half the strip’s 2.3 million population had gathered during the conflict, to root out a Hamas stronghold and free hostages who may be held there.
Although the United States continues to supply weapons to Israel, the Biden administration has voiced opposition to the plan for a Rafah ground operation and is pushing for a ceasefire.
In an address on Sunday, reportedly delivered hours after the reports of the partial withdrawal, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said there would be no standing down until the hostage situation is resolved.
“Citizens of Israel, there is no war more just than this one, and we are determined to achieve total victory,” Netanyahu said, adding, “I have made it clear to the international community: There will be no ceasefire without the return of the hostages. It simply will not happen.”

Netanyahu just cancelled a delegation headed to U.S. after Biden stabbed Israel in the back.
Israeli Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu just cancelled his delegation that was coming to the U.S. this week to discuss the Rafah invasion with Joe Biden.
According to Barak Ravid, he cancelled the delegation after Biden allowed a ceasefire resolution to pass the UN Security Council by abstaining. He could have vetoed it.

Gazans Turn on Hamas, Take to the Streets to Demand the Release of Israeli Hostages.
Perhaps the one thing Hamas didn't count on was its inability to command total public support in Gaza. Residents of the embattled territory took to the streets on Wednesday morning to demand their terrorist government release the remaining Israeli hostages taken during the October 7th massacre.
https://twitter.com/HenMazzig/status/1750110113531052412?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1750110113531052412%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fredstate.com%2Fbonchie%2F2024%2F01%2F24%2Fwatch-gazans-turn-on-hamas-take-to-the-streets-to-demand-the-release-of-israeli-hostages-n2169138
The protest occurred near a hospital, prompted by anger at Hamas for putting civilians in the position they've been placed in. As has been said many times, the war would end immediately if Hamas simply surrendered and turned over the hostages. Instead, the terrorist group, including its psychotic leader Yahya Sinwar, has burrowed underground, content to prolong the conflict.
This latest act of defiance by Gazans may have been prompted by Hamas refusing yet another ceasefire on Tuesday which would have seen the hostages released and at least a two-month pause in the war.
It's impossible to know how widespread the sentiments shared by the protesters are, and none of the Palestinian "journalists" are going to give an honest account of that. Still, it's a sign that Israel should keep pressing its advantage and not let Hamas survive. So far, around 9,000 fighters for the terrorist government have been killed, and the longer this goes on, the more discontented the actual people in Gaza will become.
Worth making is the comparison between these protesters in Gaza and the "ceasefire now" activists currently causing chaos in Western streets. One group is in direct danger, yet they are still standing up to demand the right thing while you never hear the pro-Hamas protesters in America even mention the hostages.
Sinwar and his goons can't be allowed to wield power in Gaza ever again. The situation is complicated, though. Right now, the only thing preventing Sinwar from being turned into mush is that he's surrounded himself with the remaining hostages. That's why Hamas keeps rejecting ceasefire deals in exchange for their release. Perhaps a collapse of internal support can help change that calculus.

Israel’s Ambassador Blisters UN, Holds Up Card With Hamas’ Phone Number On It … Video clip.
"This disgraceful resolution serves only one purpose: to try to tie Israel's hands and allow Hamas to continue its reign of terror.”
On Tuesday, Israel’s ambassador to the United Nations, Gilad Erdan, blistered the UN as it prepared to vote on a resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire between Israel and Gaza.
The UN displayed once again its contempt for Israel and its whitewashing of its enemies; the UN website admitted, “Prior to the resolution, two amendments making specific reference to extremist group Hamas were voted down by members.” The resolution ultimately passed with only 10 countries voting against it: the U.S., Israel, Austria, Czechia, Guatemala, Liberia, Micronesia, Nauru, Papua New Guinea, and Paraguay. Twenty-three other countries, including the United Kingdom, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Argentina, Malawi, the Netherlands, Ukraine, South Sudan, and Uruguay, abstained.
“Again, we find ourselves about to vote upon yet another hypocritical resolution,” Erdan began. “Not only does this resolution fail to condemn Hamas for their crimes against humanity, it doesn’t even mention Hamas at all. This is a resolution that will only prolong the death and destruction in the region.”
“On October 6, there was a ceasefire and it was abruptly violated; not by Israel, but by 3,000 Hamas Nazis who invaded my country; raping women, beheading babies, burning families alive, and deliberately exterminating innocent civilians like insects,” he recalled.
He turned to the countries who have sided against Israel in its war on Hamas: “What would your country do if you were in Israel’s shoes? Call for a ceasefire? What would Moscow do? Beijing? Istanbul? How would you respond? Everyone here knows exactly.”
Erdan noted that the December 1 pause in the war was violated by Hamas firing rockets into Israel once more. “Those who support this resolution are giving the terrorists a free pass,” he declared. “A ceasefire means one thing and one thing only: ensuring the survival of Hamas; ensuring the survival of genocidal terrorists committed to the annihilation of Israel and Jews.”
Erdan quoted Hamas leaders saying October 7 was a “rehearsal.” “A ceasefire is a death sentence for countless more Israelis and Gazans,” he declared. Then he gave the members of the UN a visual aid as he stated, “I have an idea: If you want a real ceasefire, here is the right address.” Erdan then held up a large card that read: “For a Ceasefire dial +970-599373765.” Next to a photo of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar, the card also read, “Ask for Yahya Sinwar.”
“This is the phone number of Hamas’ office in Gaza,” Erdan stated. “You can all call +970-599373765 and ask for Yahya Sinwar. Tell Hamas to put down their arms, turn themselves in, and return our hostages. This will bring a complete ceasefire that will last forever.”
“So why are you not doing this?” he asked rhetorically. “Why are you not holding Hamas accountable? Ironically today is the United Nations International Day of Neutrality, the day on which the UN reminds itself to be an impartial mediator in the escalating conflict. Ignoring the war crimes of genocidal terrorists on today of all days; this body further proves its utter irrelevance. What a disgrace.”
“Hamas does not respond to General Assembly resolutions; Hamas responds only to threats on its survival,” he pointed out. “Continuing Israel’s operation in Gaza is the only way any hostages will be released. This disgraceful resolution serves only one purpose: to try to tie Israel’s hands and allow Hamas to continue its reign of terror.”
“No piece of paper, especially one that is adopted by a biased, politicized majority, will prevent Israel from defending itself against those that seek our destruction. Israel is fighting a war for our future. There is not a single member state here, not a single member state here, that would act differently in a similar situation,” he concluded.

Done Talking: Israel Orders Mossad Negotiators Out of Qatar.
After Hamas violated the previous operational ‘pause’ three different ways on Thursday, Israel returned almost immediately to full war operations in Gaza. Almost as quickly, the US and other nations started pressing Israel to negotiate a new ‘pause,’ while Antony Blinken scolded Israelis over civilian losses in a war Hamas started by massacring Israeli civilians. How long, many wondered, would it be before the US pressured Israel into yet another ‘pause’ and eventually a cease-fire?
It may be longer than many thought. Earlier this morning, Reuters reported that Mossad negotiators had begun talks in Qatar over another cessation and hostages-for-prisoners deal:
A team from Israel’s Mossad intelligence services was in Doha on Saturday for talks with Qatari mediators for another pause in fighting in Gaza, a source briefed on the visit said.
The Qatar-mediated talks focused on the potential release of new categories of Israeli hostages other than women and children and the parameters of a truce, which the source said differed to the truce agreement that collapsed on Friday.
A short while later, Benjamin Netanyahu put an end to that process:
The Mossad says that a negotiating team that had been in Qatar has been ordered home with talks on extending a truce reaching a “dead end.”
“Due to the dead end in negotiations, and following instructions from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Mossad head David Barnea ordered the negotiating team in Doha to return home,” says a rare statement from Netanyahu’s office issued on behalf of the spy agency.
“The Hamas terror group did not fulfill its obligations under the agreement that included releasing all the women and children that were on the list provided to Hamas that had authorized it,” the statement says.
According to the ceasefire agreement, Hamas committed to releasing all the women and children it was holding hostage in exchange for a pause in fighting for up to nine days. More than 80 women and children were released over the last week as part of this process.
Yes, but: In the hours leading to the end of the pause, Hamas did not send a list of hostages it would release, the three Israeli officials said.
Instead, Hamas sent messages through Qatari and Egyptian mediators proposing to start a discussion on what concessions Israel would be willing to give in return for the release of elderly men, the officials added. …
Mossad chief David Barnea, the lead negotiator on the Israeli side, sent a message to Hamas through the mediators on Thursday night that stressed Israel was “not playing games” and that if the women were not released, the fighting would resume, a senior Israeli official said.
Not long after that Hamas launched a rocket from Gaza for the first time since the pause started. An hour later the ceasefire completely broke down.
Ravid skips over an important event in the middle of this. Also on Thursday, Hamas took credit for a terror attack in Jerusalem, a shooting that killed three people at a bus stop and injured six more before the two terrorists were killed. Israel had tried to overlook brief skirmishes in Gaza, but a terror attack in Jerusalem could not possibly be ignored, especially in the current political climate.
That attack alone violated the ‘pause’ even without the perfidy surrounding the hostage lists, and it made clear that negotiations with Hamas are worthless. They do not seek any kind of peace, or any kind of pause except a unilateral pause by Israel. And these negotiations do nothing but play into Hamas’ hostaging strategy while they reset for the next big attack on Israel and Jews.
Instead, Israel appears entirely focused on their war mission to destroy Hamas. Today that focus falls mainly on Khan Younis and Hamas’ infrastructure there, presumed to be Hamas’ fallback center of operations after the fall of Gaza City:
The Israel Defense Forces carried out “extensive” strikes against the Hamas terror group in south Gaza overnight and into Saturday, while calling on Palestinians on Saturday morning to evacuate from zones near the Israeli border, indicating ground operations in the southern part of the Strip were due to start soon.
In a statement Saturday morning, the IDF said it carried out airstrikes against over 400 targets across the Gaza Strip in the past day since Hamas violated the truce and fighting resumed.
Ground, air and naval forces were all involved in the operations.
The military said fighter jets attacked over 50 targets in the Khan Younis area in “extensive” strikes in the southern part of the enclave.
The IDF has already drawn up plans for a ground assault on Khan Younis. Previously, the IDF had only launched a few precision-targeted strikes on Hamas assets in the southern Gaza city, likely to preserve the ability to negotiate for the hostages. A full-on ground assault will amplify the message that Netanyahu sent to Hamas, Qatar, and the US: The time for talking is over. This is the war Hamas and Gaza have not only wanted but repeatedly started over the last 17 years, and Israel intends to finish it once and for all. Hamas and Gaza can either fight to the death, or capitulate to Israel and surrender its leadership.

UPDATE: Three Israeli civilian citizens killed in this terrorist attack.
This is what Palestinians/Hamas call a cease-fire … it means that Israel is supposed to stop shooting back. They are filthy fatherless barbarians and they cannot be appeased. They need to be crushed until anyone and everyone who identifies as belonging to Hamas is eliminated.
I make little distinction between Hamas and Palestinians … Palestinians voted for Hamas which means they believe in Hamas ideologies and policies.
It looks like they let the driver live … bad mistake, he will try it again. KILL ‘EM ALL, let God sort ‘em out.

Hamas Breaks Ceasefire Agreement and Refuses to Release Next Group Of Hostages, Israel Responds.
Hamas has officially broken the ceasefire deal and is refusing to release the next group of hostages. The terrorist government is claiming multiple things, including that not enough aid trucks were allowed to enter Northern Gaza.
Of note is that such a condition was not part of the deal, which means Hamas is actively breaking the agreement. Also of note is that aid trucks were allowed to enter Northern Gaza some hours prior to this news.
Still, Hamas is claiming that Israel has violated the ceasefire, and the latest hostage release has been delayed.
This is who Hamas is. This is what Hamas was always going to do. There was never any real chance of this four-day ceasefire and hostage deal going off without a hitch. The terrorists in Gaza have more to gain by playing games than by abiding by the terms, largely because they know they have the backing of the global press if Israel now retaliates.
Still, Israel must retaliate, and they've already laid down an ultimatum.
https://twitter.com/AvivaKlompas/status/1728460366852587599?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1728460366852587599%7Ctwgr%5Ebcb026f2e7335704c3094b27ac8614bbaaeb7451%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fredstate.com%2Fbonchie%2F2023%2F11%2F25%2Fhamas-breaks-ceasefire-agreement-refuses-to-release-hostages-n2166799
What Hamas is trying to do right now is push the envelope. Its leaders want to get everything they can while the door is still cracked open and the bombs have stopped dropping. If they can get extra aid trucks, which will be stolen by terrorists, they'll do that. If they can force the release of more convicted murderers and attempted murderers, they'll do that.
That should not be allowed, though. If Hamas doesn't follow through as demanded, hostilities should resume and they should not cease until the terrorist government no longer exists. There should be no second chances if the hostages aren't handed over at midnight. That is the scam Hamas has gotten away with over and over throughout the decades.

Shock of Shocks, Hamas Is Already Breaking the Hostage Deal.
The temporary pause agreed to in order to secure the release of some 50 hostages from Hamas hasn't even gone into effect yet, and the terrorist government is already breaking the terms.
Early on Thursday, it was reported that Hamas had postponed the deal for reasons that weren't immediately apparent. Speculation centered on whether the terrorists could even locate the hostages they were promising given how splintered the factions inside Gaza are. There is no central hostage repository because some were taken by civilians, some by Hamas fighters, and some by other terrorist groups. The new timeline is a ceasefire going into effect on Friday morning with the hostages beginning to be released that afternoon.
Unfortunately, the problems don't stop there. Hamas is openly flaunting one of the agreed upon aspects of the deal. Namely, the admission of the Red Cross to physically give the hostages health and wellness checks.
https://twitter.com/AmichaiStein1/status/1727787531075244495?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1727787531075244495%7Ctwgr%5Eeda310e211fda3791b56c934bb877e5720be8f94%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fredstate.com%2Fbonchie%2F2023%2F11%2F23%2Fshock-of-shocks-hamas-is-already-breaking-the-hostage-deal-n2166744
This should surprise absolutely no one. Hamas was never to be trusted, and it was just a matter of time before they moved to blow up parts of the deal. The question is whether Israel will put up with this or simply throw its hands up and get back to destroying the terrorist government.
Certainly, it feels like Hamas is testing the waters, seeing how far they can push things. You can bet your mortgage that this won't be the only provocation involving the deal. With the four-day ceasefire predicated on a slow release of hostages over that period, games will no doubt be played.
In the end, none of this should change the long-term strategy of fully destroying Hamas. A ceasefire makes that more difficult, but it may be worth it if women and babies can be brought home. Pressure to keep the ceasefire permanent will become heavy, and it must be ignored. There is no peace to be had with Hamas.
