But I'm gonna call her out. I don't think she can make it more than an hour or two, just based on the obvious.

Florida Republican Party Endorses A Democrat
The Florida Republican Party has come out with a post that is a head-turner for political wonks. The Sunshine State GOP has lent its endorsement to, of all things, a Democrat!
Call it what you will; epic trolling, spiking the football, taunting the afflicted…any and all may apply. Nikki Fried is someone who has long operated with a dense cloud of delusion. When she served in the state capitol as the Agriculture commissioner she would boast how Democrats were growing in nature when she was - literally - the only elected party member in a power role in the state legislature. She even touted being the only elected Dem in Tallahassee in her social media bio.
She then took that hubris and ran for the governor’s mansion, where she could not even win her party’s primary, losing to Charlie Crist, who went on to be curb-stomped in the election by Ron DeSantis, losing by 20 points. The Florida Democrats then wisely selected her to be the state’s party leader.
Since she took the position Fried was a regular source of head-scratching activity. She boasted about Democrats flipping some state seats, in Jacksonville and Orange County – which are Democrat regions. She adopted the Florida panther as the party mascot, which was apt in ways she did not consider as it is a deeply endangered species with dwindling numbers and difficult to find in this region.
The result of November 5th’s election? Trump carried the state by 13 points. Democrats took all of six counties – SIX! Miami-Dade - which has been historically blue forever, it seems, went to Trump by 11 percent! And all of that media push to sway Hispanics away as a result of a comedian telling a joke at the Madison Square Garden rally?
While most metropolitan centers are traditionally blue across the country, in Florida you see the Miami, Tampa, and Jacksonville regions all going for the Republicans. Two central Florida counties that are Puerto Rican enclaves - Osceola and Hillsborough - went red. Additionally, two amendment items on the ballot that Democrats favored heavily - abortion becoming codified (Amendment 4) and the legalization of marijuana (Amendment 3) - were voted down. The Amendment 3 issue was a personal hit to Fried, as she has direct ties to the marijuana industry in the state.
That is a garbage result, as far as the Democratic Party in Florida is concerned. For this reason, the state Republican Party leadership has enthusiastically pushed for Nikki Fried to continue for another four years.

'Squad' Rep. Cori Bush loses highly contentious primary against pro-Israel Democrat
Bush's fellow 'Squad' member lost his primary earlier this year.
Voters in Missouri's bright blue 1st Congressional District served a sharp rebuke of the left’s progressive wing on Tuesday, denying Rep. Cori Bush, D-Mo., a third term.
The "Squad" Democrat lost her primary to St. Louis County prosecutor Wesley Bell, a more moderate candidate who had the backing of pro-Israel groups that spent millions to unseat Bush over her criticism of the Jewish nation.
She’s the second member of her ultra-progressive group to lose their primary after Rep. Jamaal Bowman, D-N.Y., similarly lost to a moderate pro-Israel Democrat.
Both are part of a growing faction of Democrats who have been critical of the U.S.’s traditionally close ties to Israel, a divide that has been on stark display since Hamas’ Oct. 7 terror attack last year.
Days after the attack, Bush said of Israel’s initial response, "Israel’s collective punishment against Palestinians for Hamas’ actions is a war crime."
But Bush appears to have taken few lessons from Bowman’s loss, instead leaning into her progressive base with an Election Day eve virtual rally with Bowman and top Israel critic Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., among others.
Earlier this year, Bush also revealed that she was the subject of investigations by the Justice Department, Federal Election Commission and House Ethics Committee over her husband's paid role as a member of her bodyguard detail.
Bush had accused so-called "right-wing organizations" of "peddling notions that I have misused campaign funds to pay for personal security services" in a Jan. 30 statement.
The Missouri Democrat and her allies sought to paint Bell, her opponent, as a figure closer to the right than the left – pointing out his previous volunteer work for an anti-abortion Republican candidate.
Bell has also run his campaign under the banner of progressivism, but the issue of Israel has divided them sharply. He called Bush’s comments about Israel "wrong and offensive," according to the Associated Press.
Bell is now the favorite to win the House seat in November.

Profiles in DEI: Christina Peterson
ATLANTA — Less than two days after the arrest, the Atlanta Police Department released the body camera footage of Douglas County probate Judge Christina Peterson being taken into custody.
Peterson was arrested Thursday following commotion outside of Red Martini Restaurant & Lounge on Peachtree Road Northeast.
Peterson, 38, was cuffed and placed in the back of a cop cruiser early Thursday for battery against a police officer.
Cops said she interfered with a police officer trying to de-escalate a situation in which a security guard working at Red Martini Restaurant and Lounge attempted to escort another woman outside, according to 11 Alive News.
Peterson was allegedly intoxicated during the 3 a.m. incident, during which she pushed the officer in the chest twice, swiped at his hands, and refused to identify herself. She is of course a Democrat.
Peterson, who took office in 2020, was previously found guilty of “systemic incompetence” by a judicial panel in April, according to Fox 5 Atlanta.
In her defense, Peterson is a left-wing black woman.

Democrats Push Unconstitutionally to Get Felons Voting.
A few blacks are wising up regarding the Democrat Party. Time to shift emphasis to the identity group that won’t ever forget who to vote for. Not even LGBTers are more certain to support Democrats than convicted felons:
Rep. Ayanna Pressley, D-Mass., announced the Inclusive Democracy Act on Wednesday outside the United States Capitol with Sen. Peter Welch, D-Vt.
Because so long as America is still standing, Our Democracy is not inclusive enough.
The bill would guarantee the right to vote in federal elections for all Americans, regardless of criminal conviction. It also requires those with past convictions to receive notice they are now eligible to vote.
The bill is unconstitutional, because the states have authority over elections. But that isn’t likely to stop a member of the Squad like Ayanna Pressley.
"We must be just as relentless in protecting and expanding access to the ballot box, including for incarcerated citizens," Pressley said. "They have not forfeited their rights of citizenship, and so they deserve to have, to have their voices heard and to have access to the ballot."
Welch, meanwhile, suggested that Republicans are engaging in a "significant effort" to keep people from the ballot box by passing discriminatory voter laws, like limits to early and mail-in voting.
"If you can't win at the ballot box, don't let people vote. That has been a tactic in many of the states around the country, so it's not just here in Congress," Welch explained. "We're committed to full access to the ballot box as a birthright in this country."
Currently, 48 states have restrictions on which people with felonies can vote, with the details about how that is decided and carried differing significantly depending upon the state.
Liberal and left-wing activists have noted that the laws disproportionately affect Black Americans.
Black Americans make up around 38.6% of the incarcerated population but are around 13% of the total U.S. population, according to data collected earlier this month by the Federal Bureau of Prisons.
Pressley's bill is unlikely to pass the Republican-controlled House. Still, even if it eventually becomes law, the bill will likely face legal challenges surrounding its constitutionality, as states control elections.

Californication
AB109 and Prop 47 have had a disastrous impact on our communities. These laws have significantly diminished the ability of local prosecutors to hold repeat offenders accountable for their criminal behavior. Unfortunately, the Bethell case is not an exception or an outlier but all too common. The justice system has become a revolving door for thieves . . . They can count on being releas[ed] early from their . . . sentences if there is any punishment at all. This is untenable situation has left us unable to deter this rampant criminality and lawlessness.
Because of prison overcrowding and court rulings, AB109 sought to reduce the state prison population by sending nonviolent felony offenders back to their home counties for incarceration and supervision (in local state prison). Local county jails are squeezed between AB109 mandates and federal court orders on the local jail population. Hence, inmates receive early release. Local jails are not intended for long-term inmates but hold pretrial offenders and those serving less than one-year sentences. Increased caseloads slam local county probation offices. AB109 failed to address serial offenders like Bethell, who are released early or not detained at all. Once released, they wreak havoc in the communities. There must be provisions to up the ante so serial offenders like Bethell are deterred or incarcerated. These serial offenders will quickly commit multiple crimes before being caught again and successfully prosecuted.
In the last 10 years, criminals have become increasingly more violent and brazen. What we are seeing in response to these very lax laws on crime, the push to decriminalize everything, the push to lessen the penalty for something or even take away the penalty for crime is basically emboldening criminals to do more. It's really horrifying for law enforcement and it is horrifying for the public that has to deal with it.

Riley Gaines Swims Against the Current
A fearless collegiate athlete is resolutely doing battle with the transgender cultists.
In the world of competitive sports, there are few endeavors more challenging than high-level collegiate swimming. The early morning practices, the grueling two-a-days, and the endless laps in the pool all take their toll.
But in the case of Riley Gaines, all this has prepared her for battle against the most vicious of foes in a cause of surpassing consequence. The foe is the cult of transgenderism, and the cause is that of women’s athletics.
Gaines, a 12-time all-American and former swimmer at the University of Kentucky, was recently set upon by transgender cultists at San Francisco State University, where she’d gone to speak on behalf of women’s sports.
Talk about going into the belly of the beast.
As Gaines finished her speech, the mob surged into the classroom, turned off the lights, and attacked her, shouting a stream of obscenities and eventually chasing her into a room where she was barricaded for three hours.
“The prisoners are running the asylum at SFSU,” she said. “I was ambushed and physically hit twice by a man. This is proof that women need sex-protected spaces. Still only further assures me I’m doing something right. When they want you silent, speak louder.”
Indeed, Gaines isn’t backing down. “The campus police did nothing,” she later recounted. “The dean of students was there and did nothing. There will be no repercussions unless I have something to do with it. I will be pursuing legal action. These people need to face repercussions.”
An email sent afterward by an SFSU administrator praised the student thugs for their behavior. Signed by the school’s vice president for student affairs and enrollment management, Jamillah Moore, it was downright Orwellian in its effort to paper over what had happened.
“Thank you to our students who participated peacefully in Thursday evening’s event,” Moore wrote. “It took tremendous bravery to stand in a challenging space. I am proud of the moments where we listened and asked insightful questions. I am also proud of the moments when our students demonstrated the value of free speech and the right to protest peacefully.”
Gaines put it far more accurately. “Truthfully,” she said, “I think these people resort to anger, both verbally and physically, and violence because they know they don’t have reason on their side. They can’t debate me with logic or science or any kind of data that supports their argument, so they resort to personal attacks.”
When it comes to logic and science, Gaines knows of what she speaks. She made news a couple of weeks ago when she spoke at the University of Pittsburgh about her experience swimming against Lia Thomas, the biological male who went from a middling career as a swimmer on the University of Pennsylvania’s men’s team to a dominant career competing against women.
“Lia Thomas is not a brave, courageous woman who EARNED a national title,” reads the pinned tweet on Gaines’s Twitter page. “He is an arrogant cheat who STOLE a national title from a hardworking, deserving woman.”
As Gaines spoke at Pitt, she asked an anthropologist in attendance, “If you were to dig up a human, two humans, in 100 years from now, both man and woman, could you tell the difference, strictly off of bones?”
The anthropologist replied, “No,” and those in attendance burst out in spontaneous laughter.
“I’m not sure why I’m being laughed at if I’m the expert in the room,” he protested. “Have any of you been to archaeological sites? Have any of you studied biological anthropology? I’m just saying, I’ve got over 150 years of data. I’m just curious as to why I’m being laughed at.”
That guy’s failure to figure out why he was being laughed at tells us all we need to know about the state of higher education in America.
This week, Gaines has taken on yet another enemy of women’s sports: U.S. women’s soccer star Megan Rapinoe. Rapinoe, basketballer Sue Bird, and 38 other enablers of the transgender cult signed a letter to House lawmakers opposing the Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act, which seeks to protect women’s sports against infiltration by biological men. “Today,” the letter read, “politicians in DC are claiming to ‘protect women’s sports’ by pushing a trans & intersex sports ban. Call your Congressional rep today to say women’s sports need protection from unequal pay, sexual abuse & lack of resources, NOT from trans kids.”
In response, Gaines noted that Rapinoe, a lesbian, is at the end of her competitive career and has no daughters, and therefore no skin in the game.
It’s interesting, too, that Rapinoe would mention unequal pay for women’s sports, which is a cause she has ardently taken up. It’s a phony argument, that pay gap, but she’s all about promoting women, except when it comes to their right to compete only against other women.
Let’s hope that in the weeks and months ahead we see and hear more from the likes of Riley Gaines and less from the likes of Megan Rapinoe. The very future of women’s sports is at stake.
