President Trump Is Right About What’s Happening In South Africa

(This was posted on the White House site on 5.21.2025. The links to every article are available at the White House link.)

Today, President Donald J. Trump showed the world the shocking treatment of white farmers in South Africa — including with a video montage that highlighted the discrimination and violence targeted at the innocent minority victims.
President Trump was exactly right.
• “We left because of the attacks. You can’t stay on a farm as a white person in South Africa. You know you’ll be killed,” said one South African refugee.

◦ “The political rally was winding down when the brash leader of a leftist South African party grabbed the microphone and began to stomp and chant. Thousands of supporters joined in, and when he reached the climax, they pointed their fingers in the air like guns. ‘Kill the Boer!’ Julius Malema chanted, referring to white farmers. The crowd in a stadium in Johannesburg on Saturday roared back in approval.”

Just In Case You Haven't Heard The South African 'Kill The White People' Chant/Song

The term "Boer" in the song "Dubul' ibhunu" refers to white farmers or Afrikaners, descendants of Dutch settlers in South Africa. Historically meaning "farmer," it often symbolizes this group in political contexts. The song is used to incite violence at rallies, like those led by Julius Malema. Julius Sello Malema is a South African politician. He is the founder and leader of the Economic Freedom Fighters, a communist political party known for the red berets and military-style outfits worn by its members.

Asylum For White South Africans Enrages Liberals

First they pressured South Africans to turn over the country they created to a Marxist terrorist. Now liberals want to slam the door in the face of those fleeing for their lives in the face of the predictable racial persecution:
The Episcopal Migration Ministries … revealed Monday that it will not help white Afrikaners on account of the church’s “steadfast commitment to racial justice.”
EMM is an arm of the nominally Christian Episcopal Church, which in turn is an arm of the liberal establishment. “Commitment to racial justice” literally means “hostility toward Caucasians.”
They feel strongly about it:
The presiding bishop of the Episcopal Church, Sam Rowe, revealed in a letter to fellow Episcopalians that rather than resettle farmers from South Africa classified by the U.S. government as refugees, the EMM is terminating its contract with the federal government.
No doubt this will cost them a pretty penny. Observes White House Deputy Press Secretary Anna Kelly,
“The Episcopal Church’s decision to terminate its decades-long partnership with the U.S. government over the resettlement of 59 desperate Afrikaner refugees raises serious questions about its supposed commitment to humanitarian aid.”
The answer to these questions is that this is not about helping refugees. It is about eradicating the core population of the United States through demographic displacement. Letting millions of illegal aliens from the Third World pour across the undefended border during the Biden Regime served this objective. Offering safety to a few white victims of racial persecution does not.
This initiative is the result of President Donald Trump’s February executive order, wherein he ended foreign aid to South Africa and directed his administration to promote “the resettlement of Afrikaner refugees escaping government-sponsored race-based discrimination, including racially discriminatory property confiscation.”
The Episcopal Church’s tantrum over Trump offering refuge to Boers whose lives are clearly in danger contrasts with its stated policy on refugees:
The Episcopal Church has long stood with immigrants, including through refugee resettlement with Episcopal Migration Ministries. Our commitment to immigrants remains unwavering…
Or at least it did until now.
Liberals are keen to suppress awareness of racial persecution in South Africa because the devastated country provides a template for how they plan to fundamentally transform the USA.

49 White South Africans Refugees Leave For US

A group of 49 white South Africans departed their homeland Sunday for the United States on a private charter plane having been offered refugee status by the Trump administration under a new program announced in February.
The group, which included families and small children, was due to arrive at Dulles International Airport outside Washington on Monday morning local time, according to Collen Mbisi, a spokesperson for South Africa's transport ministry.
They are the first Afrikaners — a white minority group in South Africa — to be relocated after President Donald Trump issued an executive order on Feb. 7 accusing South Africa's Black-led government of racial discrimination against them and announcing a program to offer them relocation to America.
The South African government said it is "completely false" that Afrikaners are being persecuted.

The Trump administration has fast-tracked their applications while pausing other refugee programs, halting arrivals from Afghanistan, Iraq, most of sub-Saharan Africa, and other countries in a move being challenged in court.
Refugee groups have questioned why the white South Africans are being prioritized ahead of people from countries wracked by war and natural disasters. Vetting for refugee status in the U.S. often takes years.
The Trump administration says the South African government is pursuing racist, anti-white policies through affirmative action laws and a new land expropriation law it says targets Afrikaners' land. The government says those claims are based on misinformation and there is no racism against Afrikaners and no land has been expropriated, although the contentious law has been passed and is the focus of criticism in South Africa.
South Africa also denies U.S. claims that Afrikaners are being targeted in racially motivated attacks in some rural communities. Instead, the South African government said Afrikaners — who are the descendants of Dutch and French colonial settlers — are "amongst the most economically privileged" in the country.
The first Afrikaner refugees were traveling on a flight operated by the Tulsa, Oklahoma-based charter company Omni Air International, Mbisi said. They would fly to Dakar, Senegal and stop there to refuel before heading for Dulles.
They departed from OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg, where they were accompanied by police officers and airport officials when they checked in. Mbisi said they would have to be vetted by police to ensure there were no criminal cases or outstanding warrants against them before being allowed to leave.
The flight will be the first in a "much larger-scale relocation effort," White House deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller told reporters on Friday. Miller said that what was happening to Afrikaners in South Africa "fits the textbook definition of why the refugee program was created."
"This is persecution based on a protected characteristic — in this case, race. This is race-based persecution," he said.
