Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ) Calls For FBI Investigation Into ActBlue

FIRST ON FOX: Rep. Andy Biggs, R-Ariz., has sent a letter to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) calling for an investigation into ActBlue, the main fundraising platform for the Democratic Party, over concerns the platform had "been used to skirt the integrity of federal campaign finance laws."
"In 2024, President Biden’s Treasury Department found hundreds of suspicious transactions with ActBlue reported by banks," Biggs said in his letter to FBI Director Kash Patel on Thursday. 

"The U.S. House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform and the Committee on House Administration have been investigating these allegations of misconduct. But the previous Administration has stalled access to the necessary documents. This week, Oversight Chairman Comer and Administration Chairman Stiles have renewed their request with Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent."
The letter cited Republican concerns that ActBlue’s verification policies could potentially allow foreign actors in countries like China, Venezuela and Russia to influence elections with straw donations.
Biggs also pointed out in his letter that nineteen state attorneys general across the country have made inquiries into ActBlue over a variety of allegations, including fraud, money laundering, fraudulent and counterfeit use of credit and debit cards, and patterns of contributions that are suspicious.
"It must be emphasized that these allegations, were they to prove true, would indicate a serious threat to the integrity of our elections, besides the victimization of American citizens," Biggs wrote to Patel. "The gravity of the allegations and their implications demand a thorough and vigorous investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation. We strongly urge an inquiry into ActBlue."
Fox News Digital reached out to ActBlue for comment but did not receive a response.
"The allegations against ActBlue are alarming and, if true, threaten the integrity of our Republic," Biggs told Fox News Digital. "I’m thankful for the work Director Patel is doing to restore our justice system, and I look forward to working with him to uncover the truth about ActBlue."
Republicans on the Committee on House Administration and other GOP officials have for months accused ActBlue of lax donor verification standards.
In a letter sent by GOP Rep. Darrell Issa of California to the Treasury Department this week, first reported by the Free Press, Issa asked the Trump administration to investigate "credible allegations" that ActBlue has violated federal law by allowing terror-linked groups to use its platform.
"Despite the detailed reporting and the reasonable suspicion that our nation’s laws had been violated, the Biden-Harris Treasury Department refused to substantively address these explosive revelations," Issa wrote.
"The undeniable and continued collaboration between ActBlue Charities and terror-tied entities amounts to the enabling of terrorism and may also constitute money-laundering crimes," Issa added.
"In addition, the flagrant inability of progressive groups to address the appearance of skirting a full range of our laws — or call out the evils of Hamas and the BDS movement — raises critical questions if the activities and coalition building of ActBlue and ActBlue Charities are in reality part of a wider commitment to financing and facilitating attacks on Israel and Jewish people in America and around the globe."
ActBlue also drew the ire of Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk in a Sunday morning post on X, where he blamed ActBlue-funded groups for the recent protests at Tesla dealerships from activists opposed to his work with the Trump administration.
"An investigation has found 5 ActBlue-funded groups responsible for Tesla ‘protests’: Troublemakers, Disruption Project, Rise & Resist, Indivisible Project and Democratic Socialists of America," Musk wrote.
Musk then named five ActBlue funders he believed were responsible for funding the protests, including liberal mega-donor George Soros.

Trump Rips Security Clearances From The 51 Spies Who Lied AND

Authorizes further investigation into those involved in the publication of the infamous letter.
It requires the "Director of National Intelligence, in consultation with the Director of the Central Intelligence Agency" to "revoke any current or active clearances" of the listed 51 individuals.
Former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, former CIA Directors Mike Hayden, John Brennan, and Leon Panetta, and former National Security Advisor John Bolton are on the list.
Evidence that the newly minted 47th President is not content with simply holding people accountable who have already been publicly shamed by adding their own signatures to that letter, Trump has authorized further investigation into the matter.

“(b)  Within 90 days of this order, the Director of National Intelligence, in consultation with the Director of the Central Intelligence Agency, shall submit a report to the President through the National Security Advisor that details:
(i)    any additional inappropriate activity that occurred within the Intelligence Community, by anyone contracted by the Intelligence Community or by anyone who held a security clearance, related to the letter signed by the 51 former intelligence officials;”
The order demands that the DNI submit an assessment within the report, providing recommendations to prevent intelligence officials from "inappropriately influencing domestic elections" in the future.
It also seeks recommendations for "any disciplinary action ... that should be taken against anyone who engaged in inappropriate conduct related to the letter signed by the 51 former intelligence officials."

Trump-Endorsed former Arizona Senate and Gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake made an appearance at President Trump’s Mar a Lago home during the CPAC Investor Summit.
Lake shared photos of her and her husband meeting Elon Musk on social media, saying she’s “glad he will help shrink-down our out-of-control US Government and support our most important rights—our First and Second Amendments.”
Lake’s trip to Mar a Lago comes after her stolen election for Senate.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, Lake, despite having a massive lead in Republican early ballot returns and leading in polls near election day, supposedly lost her election—the same one where Trump and Republicans dominated up and down the ballot.
The Gateway Pundit reported on the bogus numbers from Maricopa County that began coming in right when it was believed Lake would take the lead in the race.
Additionally, they started increasing the number of votes received after election day in the counties of Pima and Yuma, and Cochise County faced bizarre machine malfunctions following supposed bomb threats. The Democrat Secretary of State attributed these bizarre threats to Russia.
It was further revealed that Maricopa County’s top election official, Stephen Richer, is a self-proclaimed “anti-MAGA” individual whose life mission, in his own words, is to “make life hell for Kari Lake.”
Lake’s Democrat opponent, Ruben Gallego, is also the neighbor and a friend of Stephen Richer, as Gallego revealed in several interviews.
Many have called for President Trump to bring Kari Lake into his Administration after she was cheated out of another election. Real America’s Voice correspondent Ben Bergquam recently suggested Lake should be appointed “elections Czar” after having two consecutive elections stolen.
Lake released a video message last week after the stolen election vowing to “never stop fighting for the state I love” and expressing her excitement for the next four years with President Trump and Republican majorities in Congress.

The Gateway Pundit has obtained damning excerpts from Maricopa County Recorder Stephen Richer’s June 21, 2024, deposition transcript in his defamation lawsuit against Kari Lake and her husband, showing that Richer contemplated running for Senate to “make life hell for Kari Lake” and admitted that he is “anti-MAGA” shortly after the rigged 2022 election where 60% of voting machines failed on election day in Maricopa County.
Of course, he made it clear to the public that he is anti-MAGA after he founded the Pro-Democracy Republicans dark money PAC to eliminate candidates with a MAGA agenda, admitted to voting for Democrats in 2022, and planned to vote for Biden in 2024.
It can be recalled that Richer oversaw early voting in Maricopa County during the 2022 election, where the race was stolen from Kari Lake through vote tabulating machine failures that disenfranchised Republicans on election day and phony mail-in ballots with no real signature verification.
Then, apparently, in an attempt to “make life hell for Kari Lake,” Richer sued her for defamation after she spoke out against him for his involvement in her election for Governor, where he also operated a PAC against candidates like Kari Lake.
Richer is also involved in counting the votes for Kari Lake’s Senate race. As The Gateway Pundit reported, Lake is coming back in the race as the County slow-walks the mail-in ballot counting process after estimating it would take 10 to 13 days to count all the ballots.

Who Is On The Docket First?

Once the Trump Administration is onboard – what about the 51 Intelligence Officers that signed the infamous Hunter Biden Laptop Letter?
In October 2020, the 51 stated the Hunter Biden Laptop was Russian Dis-information. That was a lie, they knew it was a lie, and it was the greatest Election Interference Operation in American History. For several of them, their actions possibly expose them to Felony charges.
“Special Government Employees” are subject to Felony Charges under 18USC1001.
I love Ivan Raiklin’s approach to the 51 and others; however, I’m going to triage and deal with the most vulnerable and the worst of the worst first.
Many of the 51 signed the infamous letter saying they were retired or former—that’s not totally true. We need to know who of the 51 was a “Special Government Employee” (SGE) and/or sitting on a Government Board or body.
An SGE is a sworn, Government Employee for their appointment.
The definition of SGE from 18USC202 reads, “shall mean an officer or employee of the executive or legislative branch of the United States Government, of any independent agency of the United States or of the District of Columbia, who is retained, designated, appointed, or employed to perform, with or without compensation, for not to exceed one hundred and thirty days during any period of three hundred and sixty-five consecutive days, temporary duties either on a full-time or intermittent basis.”
The definition is filled with further descriptive details that encompass the roles and responsibilities of an SGE – and places them fully under 18USC1001 False Statements by Federal Officials.
Any of the 51 who was in their tenure as an SGE is subject to Felony Charges and imprisonment for participating in the 51 Intel Officer Hoax.

Pentagon Leaving Soldiers Without Resources To Vote, Denying Absentee Ballots

The Pentagon is shirking its duty when it comes to providing active military members with the fundamental resources necessary to vote, according to three Republican congressmen.
Reps. Brian Mast (R-FL), Mike Waltz (R-FL), and Bill Huizenga (R-MI) all signed a letter directed to Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin demanding more resources for servicemembers.
“We urge you to mobilize all the necessary resources over the next seven days to give every American citizen wearing our nation’s uniform the opportunity to vote if they so desire, pursuant to all federal and state regulations governing elections,” the letter states.
The correspondence goes on to state that some of our fighting men and women had requested write-in absentee ballots only to be told the Biden-Harris Department of Defense simply didn't have any left.
“Our nation’s brave men and women in uniform brought to our attention that there has been inadequate education at the administrative level on how to register to vote, request an absentee ballot, and fill in a federal write-in absentee ballot if their state-issued ballot does not arrive in time," the letter continues.
“Other service members also stated that when a request for a federal write-in absentee ballot was made, they were told the base’s stockpile of such ballots was depleted and had not been replenished."
Talk about disenfranchising voters. And, quite literally, the very people who fight and die for the rights of others to vote.
If they didn't have the ability to get our soldiers absentee ballots and educational resources on how to vote when this letter went out, what is the likelihood they will do so with just two days left until Election Day?

Mast, in a separate statement, noted that the Biden-Harris administration had spent years fighting election integrity efforts undertaken by Republican lawmakers in individual states but somehow didn't have the resources to fight for the voting rights of active military members.
“They claim to care about democracy and the right to vote, yet they’ve failed to plan accordingly to facilitate the right to vote for every single one of our nation’s brave men and women in uniform," he said. "This is absolutely unacceptable."
"Our nation’s elite warriors deserve to have every opportunity to vote for the next commander-in-chief, especially since that person will be making life-and-death decisions for our troops.”
Mast knows, above all else, what it means to sacrifice for the basic rights of Americans. He is an Afghanistan war veteran, having served as part of Operation Enduring Freedom, and lost both his legs and an index finger after stepping on an IED.
He is the recipient of a Bronze Star and a Purple Heart.
A recent publication by the Pew Research Center may provide some insight as to why the Pentagon is neglecting voting resources and absentee ballots for the military.
Military veterans have long been a source of support for Republican candidates, especially the one that affects their lives directly — the president. The report notes that military vets back Donald Trump (R) over Kamala Harris (D) by a very wide margin — a 61 percent to 37 percent margin, with most noting that Trump's policies "would make things better for veterans."
A YouGov poll also states that active military and veterans "are more likely to say Trump [51 percent] cares a lot about veterans and current service members than to say Harris [32 percent] does."
Research by the Federal Voting Assistance Program (FVAP) shows that the biggest barrier for military members when it comes to voting is the inability to attain an absentee ballot and the lack of educational resources on how to vote.

Nine of Those 'Intelligence Experts' Who Just Endorsed Kamala Signed False Hunter Laptop Disinfo Letter.

The second I read the headline about 700 former national security and military officials endorsing Kamala Harris for president, I thought, “Were any of them the same ones who signed the infamous, duplicitous letter in October 2020—right before the election—that claimed Hunter Biden’s lurid laptop was likely Russian disinformation?”
It was a lie, and many if not all of those 51 “experts” knew it. To this day, most make no apology for their attempts to gaslight the public and affect the outcome of a presidential election:

Not surprisingly, the answer to my question above is “yes.” Nine of those miscreants signed on to the Kamala Harris endorsement. Not surprisingly, one of the most dishonest men in public life is one of the them—none other than former CIA Director John Brennan. He’s joined by his equally ethically challenged cohorts, former CIA Director Leon Panetta and former DNI James Clapper. Here are all nine:

He’s right. People often talk about the deep state or the administrative state, and I admit that when I first heard those terms, they sounded a little conspiratorial. Since the arrival of Trump, however, we have seen over and over that it is indeed a thing, and it is dangerous. For instance, we don’t even know who’s in charge of the country right now—we know it’s not Joe Biden, who can’t even remember who he’s standing next to. It’s not Kamala Harris because she couldn’t run a lemonade stand.
People like Brennan, Clapper, and Panetta have shown repeatedly that they're shameless hacks willing to say anything to accomplish their goals, regardless of whether there’s any truth to their statements or not. Of course they endorse Harris—they know she’ll never hold them accountable for anything. The other guy in the race, however, would be decidedly less friendly toward their antics were he to get back in office.

 6 Dirty RINOs Sign Pledge with Democrats to Certify the Results of the 2024 Election – Without Knowing the Details.

In yet another clear sign that the swamp is alive and well in Washington, more than 30 House members—including a disgraceful six Republicans—have joined hands with Democrats to sign a so-called “bipartisan” pledge that seeks to undermine the true voice of the American people before the 2024 election even takes place.
The pledge, deceptively named the “Unity Commitment,” pretends to “safeguard” the election, but in reality, it’s nothing more than an effort to rubber-stamp the will of establishment elites and globalist politicians.
Leading this charge are Rep. Josh Gottheimer (D-NJ) and Rep. Don Bacon (R-NE), who are rallying members of Congress to commit to upholding whatever result comes from the 2024 election—even as concerns about voter integrity and election security remain at an all-time high.

Among the RINOs are Reps. Brian Fitzpatrick (R-PA), Mike Lawler (R-NY), Lori Chavez-DeRemer (R-OR), Nick LaLota (R-NY), and Anthony D’Esposito (R-NY), all running for reelection in districts that voted for Biden in 2020, according to Washington Examiner.

Let’s not forget, none of these so-called Republicans stood with the 139 GOP House members who, in 2020, courageously voted against certifying the results of a fraudulent election riddled with irregularities.
Instead, they’ve joined a chorus of Democrats who have weaponized our elections, accusing anyone who raises legitimate questions about voter fraud of “undermining democracy.”
And here’s the kicker: this pledge includes a commitment to attend the inauguration of the so-called “legitimate” President in 2025, no matter what! They want to lock in the results before the votes are even counted and bully anyone who dares to question the process.
These RINOs are too afraid to stand up for their voters and instead want to make peace with the Democrats and their far-left base.
Trump has been right all along—there are serious concerns about the integrity of our elections, especially as Democrats continue their reckless policies of opening the borders and “importing” voters, as the former president has boldly pointed out. Yet, this group of establishment sellouts would have you believe there’s no problem here, even as millions pour across our border, potentially diluting the voice of true Americans at the ballot box.
The so-called “Unity Commitment” even goes as far as to prepare for legal challenges in multiple states, as if they’re already expecting contested results. But don’t be fooled—this is no effort to ensure fairness.

The letter reads:
Once the 2024 presidential election is over – and all legal means to challenge election results in the courts have been exhausted – I will safeguard the fairness and integrity of America’s democratic process by:
1. Acknowledging the election winner certified at the joint meeting of Congress in January 2025 as the legitimate President of the United States.
2. Attending the President’s inauguration ceremony in person.
3. Serving as a voice for calm and reconciliation and speaking out against those who endorse or engage in violence that harms people, property, or public spaces. After this election, America will have the rule of the mob unless the commonsense majority stands up. It’s never been more critical for our leaders to embrace the enduring idea that America is and must always be one nation.

When Democrat politicians talk about “respecting election results,” what they really mean is silencing dissent and forcing everyone to accept whatever result is handed to them.
They want Americans to ignore their own eyes, their own experiences, and the mounting evidence of electoral corruption, all in the name of some fake unity.

The next 6 months may be the most dangerous of our lifetimes. As the likelihood of a Trump victory increases, so, unfortunately, does the potential for societal disruption.

As the US Borders and the fabric of civilized society have systematically eroded since FJB was installed as President, we have heard relatively little from the jackbooted Antifa and BLM stormtroopers who terrorized the country into silence for most of 2020 while our “media” and three-letter security overlords gaslighted and silenced us into “accepting a Biden victory.” That silence is ominous.
 Of course, the Antifa and BLM crowd’s passivity may be because the DOJ took over from them by suppressing dissent through pressure on social media and frivolous arrests and prosecutions. The DOJ also made life generally miserable by co-opting sometimes fearful, sometimes gleeful, often high-tech businesses into de-banking, refusing to serve, and otherwise discriminating against opposing viewpoints.
The spooks of the FBI and CIA understand that they may be in an existential struggle, so expect them to increase covert influence operations. Having been politicized and “wokefied,” the top echelon of the Armed Services also realizes that, due to their recent performances—including the utter failure in Afghanistan, jailing and discharging critics, forced vaccination or discharge of unwilling service people—they could be vulnerable, and even reasonably be accused and found guilty of treason.
By controlling the Deep State, the Dems still have many levers to pull in their quest to avoid a second Trump administration. They could, perhaps, seek a plausible excuse to defenestrate FJB if, in his stubborn, senile intransigence, he refuses to step aside. Not to put any ideas into the Deep State’s collective head, his physical frailty leaves openings for bad actors.
Unfortunately, and this is where things get scary, we’re in an increasingly dangerous situation for President Trump, too. If FJB continues to insist that he “ain’t goin’ nowhere” and, like Mr. Magoo, avoids all pitfalls, he could be the candidate right up until the election itself.
As FJB struggles with the angel of death (politically speaking, of course), Trump is a hurricane, swirling offshore, absorbing energy, and gaining strength. Even the BEST Democrat candidate would have to mount a flawless 4-month campaign from scratch.
Kamala, who is perhaps the worst democrat candidate, would be forced to campaign, which will require public speaking. And while she has been able to string together complete sentences, the electorate would be treated to her word salad rather than FJB’s alphabet soup.
Might the Dems acquiesce to co-opting RFK Jr. as a last resort? Perhaps, believing him better than Trump, but RFK Jr. has one hell of an axe to grind with a former “president” and his party of deep-state socialists that not only refused to allow him to compete in their primary but wouldn’t even give him Secret Service protection.
And if all else fails, will the CIA and FBI spooks, in desperation, go rogue and make a play on President Trump’s life? Aside from the horror of all political assassinations, what would the ultimate consequences be from that?

Rep. Tim Burchett (R-TN) is demanding an investigation into the "Hunter intel letter" — the letter signed by 51 former intelligence officials that suggested the Hunter Biden laptop was a "Russian information operation." He's calling it out for "interfering in the 2020 election."
Good for Burchett; that's long been needed. I don't hold a lot of hope that they'll get any cooperation at all from the Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, or the Biden administration. But they need to commit to action. They need to start the process and lay things out, so everything is in place when the new administration comes in, in 2025, and we may be able to get some real action. They need to hold people accountable, and do a deep dive to deal with the politicizing and weaponizing of the intelligence community.

Since the jury of no one’s peers issued the Trump farcical trial verdict, a meme has popped up on Facebook:

As with everything involving anything on social media, the meme has unleashed a torrent of responses, most centered on either wholehearted agreement or strenuous objection. Let’s examine this.
Thorough research reveals even the most fervent Trump supporters have no delusion that his pending birth’s announcement came from the archangel Gabriel to his mother. Nor does anyone I am aware of hold fast to the notion that wise men from the east visited Jamaica Hospital in Queens anytime on or after June 14, 1946. No one believes Donald Trump can save your soul. He can’t. If elected in November, turning the country around will be as good as it gets. Given the furiously jaw-flapping but functionally feckless Republicans in Congress, he’ll need to get his agenda through, good luck. But that is a debate for another time.
It is understandable why any comparison between Trump and Jesus can immediately raise hackles. That said, in this case one should exercise caution to make sure said hackles don’t excessively shed on the portable fainting couches members of the Society of the Perpetually Politely Offended insist on bringing with them to every debate. I, too, despite my ofttimes rocky relationship with Jesus, believe Him alone to be the one and only Savior worthy of the title. Messianic fervor should be reserved solely for the Messiah. People wearing “Jesus is my Savior — Trump is my President” shirts know and believe this.
Not even Trump’s most passionate supporters believe him to be choirboy material. Biblical hero, perhaps, and before anyone screams blasphemy, hear me out. Compared to assorted well-known scriptural legends, Trump would need to step up his sinning game to qualify for entry. Rahab was a prostitute. King David had an affair with the wife of one of his generals, impregnated her, called her husband back from the battlefield, and tried to sweet talk him into sleeping with her to cover his tracks. When that didn’t work, David sent him back to the front with orders that would certainly get him killed so David could immediately “comfort” the grieving widow. The list goes on.
God does not excuse sin. He forgave the eternal penalty for sin on the cross for all who believe in Him and confess their sin to Him. He does not always erase sin’s consequences. The child born out of David and Bathsheba’s adultery died in infancy. The repentant former alcoholic receives a new heart in Jesus, but seldom does a new liver come with the package. We all have our own salvation to work out with fear and trembling, as Paul wrote. I have my own sins to worry about, same as everyone else’s. I don’t have time to freak out over Donald Trump’s transgressions.
The post-verdict support Trump has received should astound no one. We, the people, see through the sham. Contrary to what the well-meaning but misguided clucking Catherines are saying, there is no equating Jesus and Trump taking place. The meme is a bold statement of both faith in Christ Jesus and a thumb in the eye of those who think a pathetic show trial can dissuade Trump supporters. We are keeping the faith, and those who lust after power will not deter us.

Can The Supreme Court Intervene After Trump’s Conviction? Legal Experts Say Yes.

The guilty verdict against former President Donald Trump reached by a Manhattan jury on Thursday could ultimately be reviewed by the U.S. Supreme Court, legal experts said.
Trump was convicted on 34 felony counts of falsifying business records in an unprecedented verdict against the presumptive Republican presidential nominee just months before the 2024 election. The verdict is likely to be appealed by Trump’s legal team, however, and experts say the final decision in Trump’s hush-money trial could come down to a ruling from the highest court in the land.
Attorney Roger Severino, who is the vice president of Domestic Policy and the Joseph C. and Elizabeth A. Anderlik fellow at the Heritage Foundation, told “Morning Wire” on Friday that Trump’s legal team could make “constitutional arguments that his right to a fair trial was violated.”
“And the Constitution means something,” Severino added. “It means, if anything, you cannot jail political opponents because you don’t like what the American people are going to vote for.”
Severino said that he believes the Supreme Court will intervene in the case if Trump doesn’t win on appeal.
“Ultimately, I think the Supreme Court, if he doesn’t win on appeal, will take this up and reverse,” the attorney said. “This is a political prosecution. We are better than this as a country and this cannot stand.”
The Heritage Foundation fellow added that whether Trump ends up behind bars is still unknown, saying “it would be shameful if this judge were to order this man to go to jail when they weren’t able to point to any victims.”
“This is so shocking and unprecedented that we’re even discussing the possibility of putting political opponents in jail in the middle of an election,” he said.
Judge Juan Merchan scheduled Trump’s sentencing for July 11, just four days before the start of the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee where Trump is set to be nominated for president. The former president could face up to four years in prison.
Lawyer and political commentator Mark Levin also wrote about the possibility of the Supreme Court ruling on Trump’s guilty verdict, saying he was surprised that “TV lawyers and others” talking about Trump’s conviction “ignore a federal path to the Supreme Court.”
“The issue is how to get out of the New York system and bring the case to the Supreme Court, which may or may not take it up,” Levin wrote on Thursday night. “That is why I look to Bush v Gore, where the S Ct decided to step in BECAUSE it was a presidential election.”
“There was another court involved, the Florida Supreme Court. And it was that court that the Supreme Court believed was violating the Equal Protection Clause. That was the doctrine it settled on, given the unequal treatment of voters,” he added.
Levin then laid out how the case that was prosecuted by Manhattan Democratic District Attorney Alvin Bragg and decided by 12 Manhattan jurors could go before the Supreme Court.
“In New York, you would file the notice of appeal, ask for a stay of the trial court, and seek expedited review,” he wrote. “You need to protect your ability to timely appeal and not abandon it. You might then file applications for common law writs with the US Supreme Court, where the S Ct can take action if it chooses, and legitimately claim the harm is immediate and ongoing not just to a presidential candidate, but to the federal electoral system, federal campaign jurisdiction (reverse federalism), and the precedent that might otherwise be set and spread throughout the country. The denial of due process infected every aspect of the case.”
