South Carolina Police And ICE - Highly Successful Raid On Unlicensed Nightclub

Two alleged cartel members and one person wanted by Interpol for murder in Honduras were among at least 80 people arrested during a weekend sting operation at an unlicensed nightclub in Charleston County.
Federal, state and local law enforcement raided the Alamo nightclub, located in an industrial area outside the town of Summerville, around 3 a.m. Sunday. The club had no license to operate or to sell alcohol.
About 200 people were there at the time of the raid. The investigation, dubbed “Operation Last Stand,” continues, Charleston County Sheriff Carl Ritchie said during a news conference Monday.
They included 10 juveniles as young as 13 — including one reported as missing — as well as potential human trafficking victims. They were turned over to social service agencies. Officers also seized guns, cocaine and cash, Ritchie said, without giving details on the amounts.
Those arrested included two people believed to be “high-level cartel members” associated with the Mexico-based Los Zetas cartel and the Venezuela-based Tren de Aragua gang, said U.S. Department of Homeland Security agent Cardell Morant.
He referred to the club scene as a “cartel afterparty.” More than 80% of those arrested are living in the United States illegally, he said.
The law enforcement agencies went in with 116 warrants for 80 people.
Five people were arrested for criminal offenses, Morant said.
Law enforcement officials did not provide names of those arrested or a list of charges.
“Some of these individuals have been charged with serious offenses,” which include the person wanted internationally for murder, Morant said. Other charges made in the raid include “assault on a police officer, resisting arrest, possession of a controlled substance and a felon in possession of a firearm,” he said.
The investigation began in November with officers looking into noise complaints and reports of assaults occurring in the parking lot, Ritchie said.
“Bad guys like to celebrate too. So, this was their way to let off some steam, and they were, unfortunately, doing it right here in the community,” Morant said.
“This operation was not only about immigration enforcement. It was also about restoring order, removing threats from our streets and ensuring the safety and well-being of Charleston-area residents,” he added.
About a dozen local, state and federal agencies participated in the raid.
“We will continue to work to bring justice to those that have been victimized and also bring those to justice that have violated our laws,” said State Law Enforcement Division Chief Mark Keel.

My wife was in town doing some shopping. I was following her around toting the items she purchased.
We decided to take a break and went into a local diner to get a late breakfast.
When we came out of the diner, there was a cop writing a parking ticket.
We walked up and I said, “C’mon man, you ain’t worth a damn if you won’t give a senior citizen a break.”
He looked a me a little irritated and continued writing the ticket.
I called him an asshole.
He told me I was digging my own grave and started writing another ticket for worn tires.
Then my wife called him a shithead.
He finished writing the second ticket and put it under the wiper with the first ticket. Then he started writing another ticket. This went on for several more minutes. The more we trashed him, the more tickets he wrote.
He finally stopped writing tickets, sneered at us, chuckled a little and walked away.
When he was gone, we walked down the block a little to where our truck was parked, fired it up, and drove home satisfied with our trip to town.
We always pay attention to where the vehicles with Biden/Harris stickers are parked.
We have always tried to find a way to enjoy each day together, especially now that we’re retired.

Two weeks after after the National Fraternal Order of Police (NFOP) endorsed former President Donald Trump, a newly formed liberal police leadership organization has endorsed Kamala Harris, who supported the "Defund the Police" movement, for the 2024 presidential election.
The Fraternal Order of Police officially endorsed Trump for President on September 6, citing overwhelming support for the former president among its 377,000 members.
On Monday, the pro-Harris-Walz X account "Harris Wins" excitedly shared on X that Harris had won some law enforcement support of her own: "The Police Leaders for Community Safety just announced they are endorsing Kamala Harris over Donald Trump. Law enforcement agencies do not want to support a convicted felon. This is huge," it said.
The notoriously misleading and deceptive "Kamala HQ" X account also trumpeted the news that a "leading law enforcement group" had endorsed Harris.
NJ.com also reported the news, inaccurately stating in its headline: "Harris gets stunning endorsement from group that normally backs Trump."
In truth, "Police Leaders for Community Safety" is a very small national advocacy (501(c)4) nonprofit that has never endorsed Trump or anyone else. The group was only recently activated in June of 2024, and is headed by former UW-Madison Police Chief Sue Riseling, whose rabidly left-wing, anti-Trump proclivities are openly on display on social media.
Riseling lauded Harris’ alleged “commitment to public safety” in the group’s press release announcing its first-ever endorsement.
“This endorsement reflects Vice President Harris’ track record and unwavering commitment to public safety and the rule of law,” Riseling said. “As police leaders who have led law enforcement agencies and the major national law enforcement leadership groups, we know first-hand what it will take to make our communities safer – and that includes having Kamala Harris as our next president.”
While Police Leaders for Community Safety claims to be nonpartisan, its chairwoman’s X account betrays an obvious preference for Democrats, support for the Biden-Harris regime and animus toward Republicans, especially former President Donald Trump. The chairwoman frequently reposts content from left-wing disinformation outlets “Occupy Democrats,” “Call to Activism,” “The Palmer Report,” and “Republicans against Trump,” as well as posts from Joe Biden’s X account.
Riseling was very active on X active ahead of the 2022 midterm elections, sharing an October 2022 Occupy Democrats post accusing Trump of being a deadbeat who doesn’t pay his bills.
By the way, she retired from the force in... 2016.

Dramatic footage captured the moment a police boat ran over a speedboat believed to be carrying four migrants.
While no serious injuries were reported, the video has caused quite a stir online as people debate the moral and legal implications of what occurred. According to The Telegraph, the police were attempting to cut off the speedboat when they cut too far and ran over the smaller vessel.
“The speedboat’s four passengers were flung into the water but quickly rescued. One required brief hospital treatment in the Moroccan city of Nador, while the other three were unhurt,” the Telegraph reported.

Police motorboat collides with a ferry cable and does a backflip in Timár, Hungary, 3rd of August 2024.

The captain did not realize the cable belonging to the local ferry is in the way and hit it with high speed. The boat belongs to the Hungarian police forces.
Update: Only one person was on board and he survived. The boat sank and the responding forces pulled it out of the water successfully using a larger vessel.
Looks like the captain ignored the basic rules of approaching the ferry crossing carefully, also did not care about the signs on the side. Investigations are ongoing.
Clarification: The rope (or steel cable) can't be marked by flags etc, since the ferry uses a mechanism that kind of goes on top of it to drag itself from one side to the other.
The Captain of the Hungarian Police unit said: “These cables are usually only up when the ferry is in operation. Regulations require that the crew operating the ferry must be verbally requested to lower the cable by the passing vessel. The officer failed to request the cable to be lowered. There are also many warning signs, lights and flags before approaching.”
When the ferry is not in use the rope gets submerged in the water to let boat traffic pass.

It may be entirely possible in Illinois now for a police officer to demand to see your papers for identity compliance even though that police officer may be an illegal alien who broke U.S. law to enter the United States.
Under a bill recently signed by Illinois Governor J. B. Pritzker, illegal aliens can now become police officers. The downstream ramifications of this effort are not difficult to imagine.
As if the crisis of confidence in the U.S. legal and law enforcement system was not under enough pressure, the reality of lawbreaking foreign nationals and border crossers now controlling law enforcement is a rather remarkable escalation in social fracture.

NEPTUNE BEACH, Fla. -- A different kind of seaweed washed ashore on a Neptune Beach in Florida Saturday morning. "There was pot, just marijuana all up and down here," Bryan Crews told WJXT News. Tons of loose, unpackaged marijuana washed onto shore. It was enough to cover parts of the shoreline near Florida Boulevard.
"I don't know from personal experience, but watching shows if you put it altogether it probably would've been five or 10 pounds," said Crews. The Neptune Beach Police Department posted photos on Facebook warning people not to try and pick it up or take it home. It looks like Sargassum so it's easy to confuse but Zach West said he knew something was off when he looked at it.
"I did pick it up and smell it to see what it smelled like and it was weed so I was like okay it's kind of crazy," said West. Once West confirmed that it was beach bud, his mom called 911. "Me and my mom were kind of concerned just because there are babies and if they get it now of days they lace it with fentanyl," said West. "So, they could've picked it up and there could've been fentanyl in it and the baby just dropped dead. Nobody around with Narcan so." Officers eventually came out to the beach and cleaned it up.

A 2018 BMW M3 CS, driven by a 17 year old with stupid parents, had 2 passengers, and was going about 120 mph when the kid lost control in the curve, probably because of very little driving experience.
I’m glad that no one was seriously injured by this punk kid, who incidentally should never be able to have a drivers license in his life.
I can’t say that I have the quickest reaction times anymore, but I would have been over that guardrail at the moment that the cop started to move to the rear. He was tremendously lucky.

Chicago Elects Socialist-Backed, Defund The Police Advocate As New Mayor … maybe they like living in a combat zone … ?

Chicago voters on Tuesday elected far-left activist and teachers’-union lobbyist Brandon Johnson to be the next mayor of the nation’s third-largest city.

Johnson, 47, is a Cook County commissioner, a former social studies teacher, and a paid lobbyist for the radical Chicago Teachers Union. He ran as a decidedly far-left activist, and was backed by Bernie Sanders and the Democratic Socialists of America.

In 2020, Johnson was an outspoken advocate of the defund-the-police movement, saying in a radio interview, “I don’t look at it as a slogan. It’s an actual, real political goal.”

Johnson has tried to walk that back a bit as the defund movement increasingly became a drag on Democrats. But he still does not want to increase police funding or ramp up hiring. “Spending more on policing per capita . . . has been a failure,” he said at a news conference.

Instead, Johnson  prioritized training and promoting new detectives and hiring more social workers to respond to people suffering from mental-health crises. During the campaign, he accused Vallas of being too conservative, and a Republican in disguise.

“You know, they said this would never happen,” Johnson said during a raucous victory party Tuesday night.

“To the Chicagoans who did not vote for me, here’s what I want you to know … that I care about you, that I value you. I want to hear from you. I want to work with you. And I’ll be the mayor for you, too,” he said. “This campaign has always been about building a better, stronger, safer Chicago for all the people of Chicago.”

“Let’s take this bold progressive movement around these United States of America,” he said. “Chicago, we can show the country, we can show the world what’s possible when we stand on our values.”
