Biden Just Pardoned The Biden Crime Family
James Biden, Sara Biden, Valerie Biden, John Biden, and Francis Biden all received Presidential Pardons for crimes Pudding Brain says they didn't commit.
I wonder if they just decided that these "rules" don't apply equally to the Biden Crime Family or are they admitting to a two-tier justice system.
Biden Pardons Mark Milley, Anthony Fauci, J6 Committee Members
President Biden pardoned Dr. Anthony Fauci, Gen. Mark Milley (Ret.), and others who some speculated may have faced investigations under the incoming Trump administration on Monday.
Biden's pardons come just hours before he is set to depart the White House and President-elect Trump takes the oath of office once again. The pardon also applies to a litany of people involved in the January 6 select committee investigation.
Those issued pardons include Anthony Fauci, the former director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases; retired Gen. Mark Milley, the former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff; and the lawmakers and staffers from the House committee that investigated the Capitol attack on Jan. 6, 2021. Those lawmakers include former GOP Reps. Liz Cheney of Wyoming, Adam Kinzinger of Illinois; and Sen. Adam Schiff, D-Calif.
In addition to the named individuals, the pardon applies to, "Members of Congress and staff who served on the Select Committee, and the U.S. Capitol and D.C. Metropolitan police officers who testified before the Select Committee."
"These public servants have served our nation with honor and distinction and do not deserve to be the targets of unjustified and politically motivated prosecutions," Biden said in a statement.
Notably, Special Counsel Jack Smith, former FBI Director Christopher Wray and Attorney General Merrick Garland are not included in the pardon, despite speculation that they may face backlash from the incoming administration.
Condemnation of the move began to pour in almost immediately on Monday. Sen. Eric Schmitt, R-Mo., blasted Biden's legacy minutes after the order dropped.
"The guy who claimed he would ‘protect norms’ continues to bulldoze them and the Constitution until the bitter end. Biden truly is one of the worst Presidents in American history and will only be remembered as the guy between Trump’s two terms," Schmitt wrote on X.

Biden Confirms He's Considering Preemptive Pardons For Cheney And Fauci
Biden explained that he is considering issuing these pardons due to concerns about investigations or prosecutions under the incoming administration of Donald Trump.
Outgoing President Joe Biden revealed in an interview with USA Today that he is contemplating issuing preemptive pardons for former congresswoman Liz Cheney and former senior health official Anthony Fauci.
Preemptive pardons are rare in US history, with only three presidents having previously used them. However, Biden explained that he is considering issuing these pardons due to concerns about investigations or prosecutions under the incoming administration of Donald Trump.
In the interview, Biden recounted meeting with Trump after the November election and urging the president-elect to avoid pursuing politically motivated actions against certain individuals.
"I tried to make clear that there was no need, and it was counterintuitive for his interest to go back and try to settle scores," Biden explained. "He didn't say, 'No, I'm going to...' You know. He didn't reinforce it. He just basically listened."
Biden added that his decision on issuing preemptive pardons would depend “a little bit” on Trump’s picks for key administration roles. This comes as Trump has nominated Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi as attorney general and Kash Patel to lead the FBI.
A previous report from December revealed concerns among Biden’s senior aides regarding officials who may face investigations or indictments once Trump takes office again. Among the individuals who were being considered for a preemptive pardon was Senator-elect Adam Schiff. Schiff, however, advised against such measures, suggesting they could appear “defensive and unnecessary.”

Gargantuan Fail: Liberal Outlet Rages About GOP Pardon That Never Was
(And then deletes that story as if it never happened after being called out.)
You don’t want to become one of those people wishing ill on others, especially those who work in the same field as you do. That being said, the Corrupt Media has acted in such a shameful fashion for so long—especially since the ascendance of Trump—that it’s hard not to laugh when one of these extremist liberal outlets faceplants.
Such is the case with Esquire, which published a story calling out GOP critics of Joe Biden’s ethics-free pardon of his son Hunter on Sunday night before jetting off to Angola.
Profanity alert:
In a Tuesday column, liberal pundit Charles P. Pierce claimed that Hunter Biden was not the first presidential son caught up in controversy, asking readers, "Anybody Remember Neil Bush?"
"Nobody defines Poppy Bush's presidency by his son's struggles or the pardons he issued on his way out of the White House. The moral: Shut the f--- up about Hunter Biden, please," he wrote in the sub-headline.
Evidently, there were no editors around to check his claim because he doubled down:
"[The] lucky American businessman['s]… father exercised his unlimited constitutional power of clemency to pardon the Lucky American Businessman for all that S&L business way back when. The president's name was George H.W. Bush. The Lucky American Businessman was his son, Neil," Pierce continued.
There is only one small problem with this story: George H.W. Bush never pardoned his son Neil. Oops.
To paraphrase former CBS News Anchor Dan Rather following his false reporting on George W. Bush's National Guard service, “it could have been true.” (Although that quote is often associated with Rather, it doesn’t appear that he ever said exactly that exact phrase, just things that were similar.)
The internet proved to be a cruel mistress:
https://x.com/nickgillespie/status/1864364742413836295?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1864364742413836295%7Ctwgr%5E74b8b8f05f8127133b4945f1d3f7e6dfcae3e4e5%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fredstate.com%2Fbobhoge%2F2024%2F12%2F04%2Fgargantuan-fail-liberal-outlet-rages-about-gop-pardon-that-never-was-forced-to-retract-story-n2182818
Esquire dutifully tried to clean up the mess, but it just kept snowballing:
The men's magazine later added an editor's note to the column: "An earlier version stated incorrectly that George H. W. Bush gave a presidential pardon to his son, Neil Bush. Esquire regrets the error."
Sometime later, the piece was removed. The link now takes readers to a page that says, "This Column is No Longer Available."
The page also includes a second editor's note that notes the column was "removed due to an error" and "Esquire regrets the mistake."
George Washington University Law Professor Jonathan Turley weighed in:
They’re probably not upset that they reported false information—they’re upset they got caught.
As we say around these parts, “You can’t hate the media enough.”

‘F**k You, Joe Biden’: Megyn Kelly Kelly Blows Up On Hunter Pardon
(With National Review's Charles C.W. Cooke and Rich Lowry )
Megyn Kelly blew up on President Joe Biden after he pardoned his son Hunter Biden, and said she has no sympathy for a “spoiled presidential kid” who just got a pass for all he’s done under the excuse of being an addict.
During “The Megyn Kelly Show” podcast on Monday, the host reacted to the news that Biden had pardoned his son for any federal crimes Hunter “committed or may have committed” over the span of 11 years.
“President Biden did something he and his media allies have promised over and over and over again that he would not do,” Kelly said. “This guy is an abject liar. He has the nerve to while he’s telling yet another lie, which is that he doesn’t lie, to keep lying at every turn, he just lies.”
“He’s trying to make a victim out of him [Hunter], and as opposed to like, if you guys lied and said that your payments on strippers and hookers were tax write-offs, like you wouldn’t be prosecuted,” she added. “It was just poor Hunter who had to deal with that, and it was really just his addiction, like, if usually addicts just get passed, it’s only poor Hunter who didn’t.”
The host referenced Biden’s “infuriating” statement announcing the pardon, in which he claimed, “Hunter was singled out only because he is my son — and that is wrong.”
“So f**k you, Joe Biden, and your sob story about your rich, spoiled presidential kid Hunter Biden and how he’s been singled out,” Kelly said. “Because I know I speak for millions of people who have an addict in their family, who did something they’re not proud of, who could never get out from under it. We have no sympathy for you, Hunter Biden, and even less, for you, Joe Biden, because you enabled all of it.”

Biden Pardons Hunter
Biden Pardons His Son Hunter Despite Previous Pledges Not To.
(Are you shocked ? Then you haven’t been paying attention.)
WASHINGTON (AP) — President Joe Biden pardoned his son, Hunter, on Sunday night, sparing the younger Biden a possible prison sentence for federal felony gun and tax convictions and reversing his past promises not to use the extraordinary powers of the presidency for the benefit of his family members.
The Democratic president had previously said he would not pardon his son or commute his sentence after his convictions in the two cases in Delaware and California. The move comes weeks before Hunter Biden was set to receive his punishment after his trial conviction in the gun case and guilty plea on tax charges, and less than two months before President-elect Donald Trump is set to return to the White House.
It caps a long-running legal saga for the president’s son, who publicly disclosed he was under federal investigation in December 2020 — a month after Joe Biden’s 2020 victory.

On This Date In History
On January 21, 1977, U.S. President Jimmy Carter grants an unconditional pardon to hundreds of thousands of men who evaded the draft during the Vietnam War.
In total, some 100,000 young Americans went abroad in the late 1960s and early '70s to avoid serving in the war. Ninety percent went to Canada, where after some initial controversy they were eventually welcomed as immigrants. Still others hid inside the United States. In addition to those who avoided the draft, a relatively small number, about 1,000, of deserters from the U.S. armed forces also headed to Canada. While the Canadian government technically reserved the right to prosecute deserters, in practice they left them alone, even instructing border guards not to ask too many questions.
For its part, the U.S. government continued to prosecute draft evaders after the Vietnam War ended. A total of 209,517 men were formally accused of violating draft laws, while government officials estimate another 360,000 were never formally accused. If they returned home, those living in Canada or elsewhere faced prison sentences or forced military service. During his 1976 presidential campaign, Jimmy Carter promised to pardon draft dodgers as a way of putting the war and the bitter divisions it caused firmly in the past. After winning the election, Carter wasted no time in making good on his word. Though many transplanted Americans returned home, an estimated 50,000 settled permanently in Canada.
Back in the U.S., Carter’s decision generated a good deal of controversy. Heavily criticized by veterans’ groups and others for allowing unpatriotic lawbreakers to get off scot-free, the pardon and companion relief plan came under fire from amnesty groups for not addressing deserters, soldiers who were dishonorably discharged or civilian anti-war demonstrators who had been prosecuted for their resistance.
Years later, Vietnam-era draft evasion still carries a powerful stigma. Although there is not currently a draft in the U.S., desertion and conscientious objection have remained pressing issues among the armed forces during the recent wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.
