Former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi admitted that she was responsible for the National Guard not being ready to deal with the January 6 Capitol riot.
In a video shot by Pelosi’s daughter, Alexandria, while the pair were escaping from the Capitol on January 6, 2021, the former speaker can be seen saying ‘Why weren’t the National Guard there to begin with?’
They clearly didn’t know, and I take responsibility for not having them just prepared for more,‘ Pelosi said to her chief of staff Terri McCullough.
The video was published on X by Republicans leading the Committee on House Administration’s Subcommittee on Oversight on Monday.
‘Her admission of responsibility directly contradicts their own narrative.’

During her appearance on MSNBC, Pelosi was quick to brand the video as “revisionist history,” insisting that the real blame lies with former President Trump and his supporters.
“Well, because the fact is that the President of the United States, the former President and his tories, do not want to face the facts. They’re trying to do revisionist history on January 6th,” Pelosi said. “They know what happened that day. They know how serious it is and was and continues to have an impact on our country.”

President Trump did not incite an insurrection, but rather called for peaceful protests. He also offered National Guard assistance multiple times prior to January 6th, but these offers were declined by Pelosi and other congressional leaders.

As reported back in 2021, Speaker Nancy Pelosi and GOP Leader Mitch McConnell refused National Guard support before the announced protests on January 6th.
This was well documented and explains why Democrats closed their bogus impeachment case against President Trump rather than allow the light of truth to shine down on the American public who would learn that it was Nancy Pelosi who failed to secure the US Capitol in January.
In a WaPo interview with the Washington DC police chief, Steve Sund, The National Pulse reports the outgoing police chief “believes his efforts to secure the premises were undermined by a lack of concern from House and Senate security officials who answer directly to Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate leader Mitch McConnell.”

DC Police Chief Sund Stated:
“Two days before Congress was set to formalize President-elect Joe Biden’s victory, Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund was growing increasingly worried about the size of the pro-Trump crowds expected to stream into Washington in protest.
To be on the safe side, Sund asked House and Senate security officials for permission to request that the D.C. National Guard be placed on standby in case he needed quick backup.

But, Sund said Sunday, they turned him down.”
John Falcicchio, chief of staff for D.C. Mayor Muriel E. Bowser admitted: “Literally, this guy is on the phone, I mean, crying out for help. It’s burned in my memories.”
This is just the latest example of the Democrats lying and blaming their failures on Donald Trump.

The Daily Caller reported on Pelosi’s failings prior to the January 6th storming of the US Capitol.
In the aftermath of the Jan. 6 Capitol riot, Former Sergeant at Arms Paul Irving recalled to House Admin how previous discussions with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and her office factored in to his “blender of decision making,” according to three sources with direct knowledge of Irving’s talk with House Admin.
Pelosi’s office had previously impressed upon Irving that the National Guard was to remain off Capitol Grounds, Irving allegedly told House Admin. The discussions, which centered around “optics,” allegedly occurred in the months prior to the Jan. 6 riot, during a time when deployment of federal resources for civil unrest was unpopular with Democrats and many members of Congress.
The three sources who confirmed the discussion to the Daily Caller did so under the condition of anonymity, citing the fear of putting a chill on further witnesses to how the security situation unfolded Jan. 6.

NY Democrat, Jamaal Bowman pulled the fire alarm at Capitol office building to delay vote on continuing resolution. After Bowman was caught on video pulling the alarm, he used the Democrat fail-proof: HE LIED about it trying to claim he was too stupid to know that pulling the fire alarm would … activate the fire alarm.
A House Democrat from New York pulled the fire alarm in the Cannon office building at the Capitol to delay a vote on the latest continuing resolution.
According to Fox News reporter Chad Pergram, Rep Jamaal Bowman was being questioned by the US Capitol Police criminal investigation unit.
If Bowman is willing to resort to crap like this, then they need to kick his butt out of Congress. I don’t know what the penalty is for this, legally speaking, but I hope they pin him to the wall for it.
His campaign is now lying about Bowman being confused about what pulling the alarm would do.
Bullcrap. Bowman was literally a school principal. He knew exactly what he was doing.

PELOSI LIED! Former Capitol Police Chief Sund Testifies He Had 3 Calls with Pelosi on Jan. 6 – Pelosi Said They Never Spoke – But Sund Says He Has the Receipts! (VIDEO)

On Tuesday, the House Administration Subcommittee on Oversight held a hearing titled, “Oversight of United States Capitol Security: Assessing Security Failures on January 6, 2021.”
Rep. Barry Loudermilk heads the subcommittee. Former U.S. Capitol Police Chief Steven A. Sund testified before the committee.
Chief Steven Sund has been outspoken of Nancy Pelosi and her failures to secure the US Capitol that day.
It has been widely reported that President Trump asked for the National Guard three days in advance of January 6. But Pelosi turned him down.  She refused to call in the National Guard despite numerous warnings of possible violence.
Pelosi then refused to turn over information about her culpability in the security breakdown during the Jan. 6 riot for over a year to congressional investigators.
Steven A. Sund, the Capitol Police chief on that fateful day, not only confirms her culpability along with the rest of the Democratic leadership. Sund reported that Pelosi utilized him as a scapegoat and forced him to step down as Police Chief. We all know now she was just trying to obfuscate her own responsibility for the attack.
The day after January 6, Nancy Pelosi blamed Chief Sund for the security failures that day.  Pelosi insisted she never spoke with Chief Sund the entire day.
On Tuesday Chief Steven Sund refuted Pelosi. Sund told the subcommittee he spoke with Pelosi three times on January 6 (while she was running the building with her film crew.)

Tucker Carlson’s latest episode of his show on X, formerly known as Twitter, aired Thursday and it certainly was a bang-up one. It featured an interview with former Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund.
As Tucker explained, he’d filmed an interview with Sund earlier in the year (when he was still working for Fox). It was scheduled to run on Monday, April 24, Carlson said. Then Carlson was let go from Fox that Monday morning and the interview never aired. Because the interview footage is owned by Fox, Tucker can’t run it. So instead he invited Sund to come on his X show and tell what he knew.
