 CDC, FBI Working To Hide Data Showing Shootings Stopped By Good Guys With Guns.

The CDC, FBI, and legacy media are conspiring to “debunk” the truth that armed, law-abiding citizens prevent crime and stop mass shootings.

For years, gun control activists have sought to “debunk” the so called “good guy with a gun myth” in an effort to pass more stringent controls on one of our nation’s most cherished liberties. In support of this agenda, the federal government in conjunction with legacy media has sought to suppress the abundant evidence in support of the truth that armed, law-abiding citizens are one of the most effective deterrents against public mass casualty attacks.
For instance, in 2022, 22-year-old Elisjsha Dicken stopped a mass public shooting using his legally carried concealed handgun. The story became an unusual instance in which the national media covered this heroic action. But an Associated Press headline claimed: “Rare in US for an active shooter to be stopped by bystander.” Meanwhile, a Washington Post headline declared: “Rampage in Indiana a rare instance of armed civilian ending mass shooting.”
That same year, Time Magazine published an article politicizing the tragic school shooting in Uvalde, arguing that local law enforcement’s controversial response proves that “good guys with guns keep failing to stop mass shootings.”
Meanwhile, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) under the Biden Administration has sought to suppress data proving that armed citizens help prevent crime by removing its estimates of defensive gun uses from its website. For almost a decade, the CDC referenced a 2013 National Academies of Sciences report noting that people used guns to stop crime anywhere from about 64,000 to 3 million times a year.
This decision was taken after gun control activist Mark Bryant, founder of the Gun Violence Archive, lobbied the CDC to remove “misinformation” regarding defensive gun use estimates because of they are cited by “gun rights folks” to stop gun control legislation. Soon after, the CDC took down these estimates and now lists no numbers.
The FBI has also shown itself to be susceptible to political pressure. The FBI defines an active shooter attack as occurring when an individual actively kills or attempts to kill people in a populated, public area. This measure includes everything from just one person shot at, even if the target isn’t hit, to a mass public shooting. It doesn’t include, however, shootings involving other crimes, such as robbery or fighting over drug turf.
To compile its list, the FBI hired researchers at Texas State University. Police departments don’t record these cases, so the researchers relied on Google searches to find news stories about these incidents. As such, the FBI’s evidence relies on a dataset that is actively hostile to the truth.
During 2020 and the beginning of 2021, I worked as the senior advisor for research and statistics at the U.S. Department of Justice. My job included evaluating the FBI’s active shooting reports. During my time with the DOJ, I discovered that the FBI either missed or misidentified many cases of civilians using guns to stop attacks. For instance, the FBI continues to report that armed citizens stopped only 14 of the 350 active shooter cases that it identified in the ten years from 2014 to 2023.
The Crime Prevention Research Center (CPRC), which I run, has found many more missed cases and is keeping an updated list*. As such, the CPRC numbers tell a much different story: Out of 515 active shooter incidents from 2014 to 2023, armed citizens stopped 180, saving countless innocent lives. Our numbers even excluded 27 cases where a law-abiding citizen with a gun stopped an attacker before he could fire a shot.
Overall, the CPRC estimates that law-abiding citizens with guns have stopped over 35 percent of active shootings over the last decade and 39.6 percent in the last five years. This figure is eight times higher than the four percent estimate made by the FBI.

This figure increases even more when controlling only for areas where citizens are legally allowed to carry a firearm; after all, you can’t except that law-abiding citizens will stop attacks in gun-free zones. In places where law-abiding citizens are allowed to carry firearms, we estimate that armed civilians stopped 51 percent of active shootings over the past decade. Over the last five years, that figure was 53.1 percent.
One such case ignored by the FBI occurred in Conyers, Georgia in 1999 when an active shooter at Heritage High School was disarmed by an assistant principal. When I presented this case, among others, to the FBI, a bureau official acknowledged that “the FBI did not come across this incident during its research in 2015, but it does meet the FBI’s active-shooter definition.”
When questioned about their omission of this and other instances, the reason the bureau official gave for this mistake was that their reports “are limited in scope.” It’s not surprising that researchers miss cases or occasionally misidentify them. But the FBI refuses to fix its errors and even the blatant omissions that I pointed out have still not been corrected.
The FBI dataset is missing so many defensive gun uses that it’s hard to believe it isn’t intentional and the fact that they never correct mistakes that are brought to their attention is even more damning. All the while, the news media unquestioningly reports the FBI’s numbers, actively distorting the truth regarding the pivotal rule responsible gun owners have played in preventing crime and limiting casualties during mass public shootings.

Kamala Harris posted a letter from “Tucker” Tuesday night on her Twitter page promoting gun control.
The tweet made people think it was from Tucker Carlson.

The first thing that sticks out about the letter is “Tucker’s” praise for free speech. Kamala Harris and Joe Biden have destroyed the intent of the First Amendment in the country today. Numerous Americans are in prison, under lawfare attacks (including this website), were censored, (this website among others), were even sent to prison for a meme during the Biden administration.
Kamala and Old Joe ruled the country like Marxist thugs for four years. Even Mark Zuckerberg finally admitted this earlier this week.
The second thing readers noted was that the signature was nothing like Tucker Carlson’s.

On Thursday, a federal judge in Texas overturned the administration’s ban on forced reset triggers, which automatically return to their starting position after being pulled.
District Judge Reed O’Connor, who has been front and center in recent decisions to rein in the rogue agency, ruled in the case National Association for Gun Rights v. Garland* that ATF overstepped their bounds in classifying guns using forced reseat triggers as “machine guns” under the Gun Control Act of 1968.
“Having considered the above-referenced filings and applicable law, the Court concludes that Defendants engaged in unlawful agency action taken in excess of their authority,” Judge O’Connor wrote in the decision.

A judge has expunged the misdemeanor convictions of a St. Louis couple who waved guns at racial injustice protesters outside their mansion in 2020. Now they want their guns back.
Attorneys Mark and Patricia McCloskey filed a request in January to have the convictions wiped away. Judge Joseph P. Whyte wrote in an order Wednesday that the purpose of an expungement is to give people who have rehabilitated themselves a second chance, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported. City prosecutors and police opposed the expungements.
Immediately after the judge’s ruling, Mark McCloskey demanded that the city return the two guns seized as part of his 2021 guilty plea to misdemeanor assault. Republican Gov. Mike Parson pardoned the couple weeks after the plea.
“It’s time for the city to cough up my guns,” he told the Post-Dispatch.
If it doesn’t, he said, he’ll file a lawsuit.
They really should give them back because they never should have been charged in the first place. It was another rogue prosecution by a Soros prosecutor and I’m so glad the judge expunged their records.

Donald Trump’s license to carry a gun in NY expected to be revoked after ‘hush money’ trial conviction.

Former President Donald Trump’s license to carry a gun in New York is expected to be revoked after he was convicted of 34 felony counts in Manhattan last week, sources told The Post.
While Trump’s concealed carry license had already been suspended last year, the license will “likely” be revoked by the NYPD unless the president files a legal petition, the sources said on Wednesday.
Under New York state and federal law, convicted felons are barred from possessing any type of firearm, with Trump legally mandated to surrender all weapons to authorities by his July 11 sentencing.
Trump could keep his weapons by applying for a certificate of relief from civil disabilities, but the former president’s legal team has yet to file the petition, sources added.
Since Trump’s New York gun license application included a request for confidentiality, the details of his license are exempt from public records.
The GOP-front runner could also legally keep his firearms if an appeals court ends up overturning his felony convictions from the hush money trial.
Trump had surrendered two of his guns to the NYPD on March 31, 2023, a day before his license was suspended, with a third gun “lawfully moved to Florida,” CNN reported.
But following his felony conviction, the former president could find himself in more legal trouble if he is still in possession of the third gun in the Sunshine State.
Convicted felons are free to transfer their weapons to a local police precinct or legally transfer ownership of the firearms to someone else.
Trump previously told a French magazine that he is always strapped following a series of terror attacks in Paris back in 2016.
“I always carry a weapon on me,” he touted. “If I’d been at the Bataclan [concert hall] or one of those bars, I would have opened fire.”

The Bahamas are mostly known as a resort or cruise destination, only 90 miles to the right of Miami. Not well known is that the Bahamas have become one of the key locations for Chinese Communist Party Adventurism in the Americas as China exploits a disinterested U.S. Government and State Department. When I was in the Bahamas in late 2019, I went out of my way to talk to locals and see what was on their mind.  There were two common themes: The first was that the Chinese Communists were thugs. The second one was, where are the Americans?  In late 2023 I spent a number of days in Panama with Michael Yon and Ann Vandersteel to understand the extent of Chinese mischief in Panama. Funny – asking a Panamanian on the street would get almost an identical response to the Bahamians five years earlier.
In January of this year, the State Department put out an alert that rattled the islands and peeled back the illusion of conch soup restaurants, carefree citizens, and peaceful resorts. The State Department Alert was a “Level II Alert” on increased violence and murders in the Bahamas. In the first 24 days of January 2024, 18 murders occurred. So what is going on? When a U.S. Government Inspector General was appointed for Ukraine, suddenly Haiti collapsed (again) into unprecedented violence. It was no coincidence. Haiti is an international focal point for money laundering and human trafficking and business picked up with a sudden higher-level scrutiny of Ukraine. Haiti is only a short boat ride a few hours from the Bahamas. The Bahamas has become ungoverned space and as violence grips the islands, the clear winner is obvious: China.
The violence is now targeting members of the ruling elite of the Bahamas. On March 29, 2024, former member of Parliament, Don Saunders was gunned down while at a Restaurant in Gambier Village, nine miles to the west of the capitol city of Nassau and just above the international airport. After being shot, he was robbed of the keys to his car and the killers drove off in his car. Mr. Saunders was the deputy of the Free National Movement Party, the minority party in the Bahamian Parliament and the center right party. The FNM Party is the group most active and vocal in challenging the Chinese domination of the Island. This was the 35th homicide in the Bahamas in 2024.

This murder has rocked the Bahamas.  The party stance of the FNM while Chinese interests dominate the large archipelago of islands, that has a population of just over 400,000, is hard to overlook.  Gun ownership in the Bahamas is the highest in the Caribbean and owning a weapon is regulated but allowed.  According to the Royal Bahama Police, 90% of the weapons confiscated come from Florida.  As a branch and sequel to Fast and Furious in Mexico, the Biden Team seems to be enabling lawsuits by neighboring countries including the Bahamas against American gun makers as a proxy war against the American Second Amendment.  The mass violence and collapse of society in Haiti is only a few hours by boat away from the southern end of the Bahamas, so guns and bad people from Haiti enabling the growing chaos in the Bahamas should not be overlooked.

China is ever present in the resort industry and infrastructure projects like the gift of a $30M grant to build a national stadium.  The largesse of such gifts is overpowering to the small population of the Bahamas and the ruling Progressive Liberal Party.  Huawei is the leading provider of information technology and networks to the Bahamas.  Essentially the entire island is networked by Huawei up to the Internet Access Points at the undersea cable coming from Miami.
Where Huawei goes so does the Chinese capability to monitor, a job that the newly established Chinese Cyberspace Force will prioritize with their footprint in the Bahamas, a short undersea cable ride to the National Access Point of the Americas in downtown Miami.  China is leading the multi-billion-dollar development of the Baha Mar Resort, which is years behind schedule, but also includes the British Hilton Colonial Hotel in downtown Nassau, across the street from the American Embassy.  The Chinese overpowering presence and exclusion of Bahamian citizens from much of the infrastructure work does not endear the Chinese to much of the Bahamian population.
While General Laura Richardson, the Commander of Southern Command in Miami has warned repeatedly of the Chinese control of the Bahamas, U.S. State Department has apparently missed the memo.  There is no U.S. Ambassador to the Bahamas, only the lesser position of “Chargé D’Affaires” which translated means, America does not care enough about the Bahamas to have a real Ambassador. 

The Foreign Service Officer encumbering this neutered position is Jason Crosby who has a most unusual and atypical background, coming from the Diplomatic Security Service Office.  Jason should know better and should 24/7 be driving China out of the Bahamas.

The U.S. Navy has a large and sensitive facility in the Bahamas used for submarine training and research.  The ones and zeros of all the data from this facility transit the Huawei IT pipes as they travel to Miami.  With the growing alarm over Volt Typhoon, the Chinese cyber-attacks on American critical infrastructure, creating a non-Chinese IT backbone for the Bahamas including the rip and replace of Huawei is intuitive.  The average Bahamian gets it and asks, “where are the Americans?”.  That is a great question and one more reason November 2024 is so important.

An 85-year-old woman was handcuffed to a chair during an armed home invasion. She killed the robber and survived.

(This is one tough lady with an attitude that makes her a survivor … I was impressed with the way she handled the entire situation. The 'suspect' was a white piece of trash. I still haven't been able to find the race of Christine Jenneiahn 'Eastwood'.) 

ROSE — An 85-year-old woman who shot and killed a man after he broke into her home in the middle of the night was threatened, hit, handcuffed to a chair and shot multiple times, according to newly released information.
The home invasion happened on March 13, and deputies responded just after noon. But the home invasion began at 2 a.m.
The Bingham County Prosecutor’s Office identified the 85-year-old woman on Wednesday as Christine Jenneiahn. The suspect was identified in March as Derek Ephriam Condon, 39, of Blackfoot.
Officials told EastIdahoNews.com the two were known to each other and it was not believed to be a random incident.
According to an incident review from Bingham County Prosecutor Ryan Jolley, Condon’s death has been ruled as “justifiable homicide” based on information contained in reports, video, photographs, search warrants and witness statements.
Early that morning, Jenneiahn was sleeping in her Bingham County home off 134 West 600 North, according to the review. The only other person in her home was her adult disabled son, David Jenneiahn, who was in his room downstairs.

Christine Jenneiahn told investigators that she was asleep and was woken up by an unknown man. He was later identified as Condon.
Condon was dressed in a military jacket and a black ski mask. He was pointing a gun and flashlight at Jenneiahn.  
The review said Condon placed Jenneiahn in handcuffs and took her into her living room.
“Subsequent investigation indicates a strong likelihood that Condon struck Jenneiahn in the head as she lay in her bed,” it said. There was blood on the pillow and floor in her room where she had been sleeping.
Jenneiahn said he had hit her in the head at some point during the incident, but she was unsure of exactly when it happened.
After taking her at gunpoint into the living room, Condon handcuffed her to a wooden chair. He asked her where the valuables were kept and put his pistol against her head after she told him she didn’t have much, the review said.
She told Condon that there were two safes downstairs in the home. He left Jenneiahn handcuffed in the living room. He went downstairs multiple times and rummaged through several rooms.
Eventually, Condon discovered that Jenneiahn’s son was in the home and got angry at her for not telling him. He made multiple threats and told her that he “would kill her,” the review revealed.  
“One of the most heroic acts of self-preservation I have heard of.”
When Condon went downstairs again at some point, Jenneiahn dragged the chair she was handcuffed to into her bedroom and got her .357 Magnum revolver, which was under her pillow.
She then went back into the living room and “hid the revolver” between the armrest and cushion of a couch next to where she was sitting while she waited to see what Condon did next, the review detailed.
“Her memory of exactly what happened next remains somewhat unclear,” according to the review.
She told investigators that at some point, Condon came back into the living room and threatened to kill her as he continued to burglarize her home.
‘Now or never’
Jenneiahn ultimately made the decision that it was “now or never” and drew her gun and “engaged Condon, striking him with both her shots.” Officials told EastIdahoNews.com she shot him in the area of his chest.
Condon returned fire and emptied a 9mm pistol, hitting her multiple times in her abdomen, leg, arm and chest.
Condon went into the kitchen, where he died from his wounds.
Jenneiahn fell to the floor, still handcuffed, in the living room, where she remained for about 10 hours, the review said.
She was ultimately able to call 911 after her son came upstairs later in the morning and gave her a phone. Deputies responded immediately at 12:17 p.m. and provided lifesaving measures.
She was transported to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls.
A broken window and screwdriver
Investigation revealed there was a broken window in the back of her home and a screwdriver was found next to the door where Condon came inside.
Additionally, Condon’s car was found near Jenneiahn’s home with one set of footprints leading from the car in that direction, the review said. When investigators searched Condon’s body, they found he had a lock pick set, his car key, a handcuff key and a bag that had items he had stolen.
The law in Idaho regarding self-defense is clear, Jolley wrote — “No person in this state shall be placed in legal jeopardy of any kind whatsoever for protecting himself …”
He found that an individual acting in self-defense is not required to “wait until he or she ascertains whether the danger is apparent or real.”
“This case presents an easy analysis of self-defense and justifiable homicide. It also presents one of the most heroic acts of self-preservation I have heard of,” Jolley wrote. “Any reasonable person would believe it necessary to defend themselves or their disabled child under such circumstances.”
He said the fact that Jenneiahn survived the encounter is “truly incredible.” Jolley said that her grit, determination and will to live appear to be what saved her that night.
“Had Derek Condon survived, I would be charging him with multiple felonies, including attempted murder, kidnapping, burglary, aggravated battery and grand theft,” Jolley added in his review.
The Bingham County Sheriff’s Office released in a post on social media, “We wish to make it clear that our intention is not to defame the name of the suspect involved or make a tragedy for his family worse. We are simply releasing the facts of the case and explaining that there was a victim involved that displayed heroism, fortitude, and a will to live that we’d be remiss not to share.”
The sheriff’s office said its staff feels fortunate to know Jenneiahn and looks forward to finding a way to honor her at a later date.

The Second Civil War #66: Preparing The Red Flag Battlespace.

In September of 2023, Biden announced the “first ever” White House Office of Gun Violence Prevention.  In charge?  Kamala Harris.  One would think this mere virtue signaling, after all, as Border Tzarina, Harris has accomplished precisely nothing other than jetting about looking for the “root causes” of illegal immigration.  So what’s this extra-constitutional “office” going to do? 
This new office is going to be a central hub, essentially, for enforcement, coordination, public outreach.
As you well know, William, last year the president signed into law a bill, a bipartisan bill, that cracked down on background checks, essentially trying to enhance background checks. And so they’re going to be coordinating aggressively with states to make sure that that’s enforced.
There’s also billions of dollars that were allocated in that bill to tackle gun violence prevention, mental health, school safety. And so a lot of the people I have spoken to, including the White House, say that this office is going to make sure that all of that is enforced and implemented, that those communities realize that there’s that money there for them to use.
Who is really in charge?
Stefanie Feldman, a longtime policy advisor to President Biden on gun violence prevention, serves as Director of the Office of Gun Violence Prevention, alongside leading gun violence prevention advocates Greg Jackson and Rob Wilcox, who joined the Administration as Deputy Directors of the Office of Gun Violence Prevention.
All are long time anti-liberty/gun cracktivists.  Their idea of “gun violence prevention” is disarming law-abiding Americans.  This “office” was not authorized by Congress, nor did
Congress fund it.  But this was an organization that would coordinate, cajole, threaten and harass Americans, and violate the Second Amendment.  But they needed real action, and in March of 2024, that’s what they established.

New bill in California would force gun owners to register their firearms AND pay a special tax for them EVERY YEAR.

An atrocity of a bill created by Sen. Anthony Portantino (D) in commie California would force gun owners to register their firearms and pay a special tax for each gun they own every year. The bill is still in the early stages but given that this is California, it’s likely to pass.

He’s absolutely right about this. I looked at the legislation and this is one of the first paragraphs in the summary:
This bill would require every firearm in the state, except those specifically exempted, to be annually registered with the department. The bill would require the registrant to annually pay a fee, as specified, to be deposited into a special fund that is continuously appropriated to the department for the express purpose of carrying out the administration and enforcement of the firearm registry. The bill would require the department to establish and maintain a system for the annual registration of firearms and would require the department to make registration information available to other law enforcement agencies, as specified. The bill would require the department to make reasonable efforts to notify firearms dealers, firearm owners, and the general public regarding registration requirements.
A hearing is scheduled for April 2nd on this bill. I hope Californians can stop this bill because if they can’t, they’ll have to depend on the court to do so. I can’t imagine the Supreme Court letting something this unconstitutional stand, but a lot of lower courts would.

 Tragic: Bodycam Footage Shows Man Stabbing Police Officer to Death Before Armed Civilian Stops Him.

(The only thing good about this story is that Armando Silva is DEAD. Wait, I take that back, the best thing about this story is that there are still brave Americans like Issiah Astorga willing to step up and do the right thing and shoot worthless pieces of shit like Silva DEAD in defense of other good Americans like Officer Jonah Hernandez, R.I.P.)
In February, a police officer in Las Cruces, New Mexico, was viciously murdered by a suspect after responding to an emergency call. The local police department has released bodycam footage showing the tragic altercation that ended in the death of both the officer and his assailant.
Amid widespread staffing shortages among the nation’s police departments, this situation further illustrates not only the dangers officers can face, but also why it is important for civilians to be armed.
On a day that began like any other, Officer Jonah Hernandez responded to the call that would ultimately cost him his life. The released footage shows his encounter with 29-year-old Armando Silva, who stabbed the officer to death.
Hernandez responded to a trespassing call by the property owner at approximately 4:49 p.m. According to Story, the property owner confronted Silva for trespassing on the day before the attack.
There are 'No Trespassing' signs on the property, where Story said there has been a history of trespassing, vandalism and people leaving needles.
Story said at the same time the call was made, there were two other men who allegedly had cut a hole in the fence and were in the back part of the property.
Surveillance video captured by cameras on the property show Silva, in a dark hoodie and dark pants, walking around the building to a canopy in the back part of the property. Silva can see when Hernandez parks his vehicle along Valley at 4:55 p.m. and approaches.
On video captured by a body camera, Hernandez asks Silva if he is the person who made the trespassing complaint at the property.
Silva immediately approaches Hernandez with a knife in his right hand. Hernandez turns to run, but is stabbed before falling, after which Silva stabs Hernandez several more times. Hernandez is able to get to his feet, but falls.
It is about this moment that Silva notices another individual approaching him. On Thursday, LCPD identified 29-year-old Issiah Astorga as the man who intervened in the attack, ultimately shooting and killing Silva.
Neither surveillance footage nor body camera footage show the interaction between Astorga and Silva, but three gun shots in succession can be heard from Hernandez's body cam video, followed by another gunshot before Astorga is seen approaching Hernandez. Astorga and another person attempt to render aide to Hernandez and call for help.

Las Cruces Police Chief Jeremy Story reacted to the tragedy, pledging that he “will not stop until we see the change that makes Las Cruces and New Mexico safer.”
The incident further spotlights the growing need for enhanced safety measures, increased staffing, and a reevaluation of strategies to manage criminal activity and mental health issues in the community.
Silva was a homeless individual who had a known history of mental illness and criminal behavior, which adds another layer of complexity to this case, as well as others. It demonstrates the importance of the conversation on the best ways law enforcement officers should interact with those facing mental health problems.
The tragic incident also underscores the importance of an armed citizenry. While Astorga was unable to stop Silva from killing Officer Hernandez, it is quite possible that he saved other lives by taking action and using his firearm to stop the assailant. His decisive action would not have been possible if he had been unarmed.
Officer Hernandez’s death is a disturbing reminder of the risks law enforcement officers face while carrying out their duties. As the community grapples with this tragedy, it appears the department plans to honor the officer’s memory by implementing substantive changes to safeguard officers responding to these types of calls.

Remington Leaving New York For Georgia After 200 Years.

Remington, America’s oldest gun maker, is poised to leave New York for Georgia in March after more than 200 years of operation in Mohawk Valley.
The firearm manufacturer told union officials in late 2023 of its plans to move from Ilion to Georgia. The New York Times (NYT) reported. RemArms, the current owners of Remington Firearms, cited “production inefficiencies” in a Nov. 30 letter to union officials as the reason for closing the plant, The AP reported.
Republican New York Rep. Elise Stefanik blamed the move on “New York Democrats’ unconstitutional gun grab policies.”
Some New York village residents dread the departure of Remington, recognizing the firearm manufacturer as a piece of the town’s identity and history, The NYT reported.
“Two hundred and eight years of history. Gone, gone,” Ilion Mayor John P. Stephens said, according to The NYT. “Ilion is Remington. Remington is Ilion.”
Generations of families in the area had careers at Remington, and some reflected on their affiliation with the manufacturer, The Associated Press (AP) reported. Jim Conover, who packed guns at Remington starting in 1964 and retired 40 years later as a production manager, compared the gun factory’s move to the idea of losing a part of his family.
“When Remington leaves, it’s not going to be like a facility leaving, it’s going to be like part of your family has moved off,” Conover said, according to The AP.
Ilion residents also expressed fear of revenue loss as the plant closure approaches.
“My mom worked there. My dad worked there. My wife works there with me now. My daughter works there with me now. My second daughter works there with me now. And my son-in-law works there,” said Frank ‘Rusty’ Brown, president of the United Mine Workers of America Local 717, according to The AP. “So it’s a double-hit for me and my wife: two of us out of a job.”

 Preventing Private Military Act of 2024

The initial local response to Genesse Ivonne Moreno trying to shoot up a megachurch in Houston as service was set to begin was to investigate the proper pronouns to use so as not to offend the dead maniac. This looks like the liberal establishment’s national response:
Senator Edward Markey (D-MA) is pushing legislation that could prevent churches around the country from using a “security services unit” comprised of concealed carriers in congregations, parishes, etc.
The bill is the Preventing Private Military Act of 2024, and it is co-sponsored by Senator Laphonza Butler (D-CA).
“(D-CA)” must be a typo. I thought the Lesbian of Color identity appointment Laphonza Butler was from Maryland.
It’s not like Democrats don’t understand what they are doing:

Church attendance isn’t low enough. Maybe turning churches into shooting galleries for psychos will help, the way encouraging school shootings with gun-free zone policies has helped the media propagandize against the Second Amendment.
