I Want To Cheer Every Time They Catch One Of These Nazi Bastards.

Arrogance Mode:Cancelled

Damn right, you're sorry. But the only reason you're willing to admit it is because you got caught. I love seeing the realization on his face that he's somebody's bitch right now. But from the way he acts, I'm sure that's normal for him/they/ze.

This vandal says “obviously I did not intend to do this”—that is, carve a swastika into a Tesla  ... How does one do such a thing unintentionally?

Here’s more from WAPT:
Friday, video surveillance showed a man in the Walmart parking lot vandalizing the hood and the driver’s side of a Tesla.
Officials have identified that suspect as Osvaldo Torres-Rodriguez, 63, a Cuban male who is not an U.S. citizen. He has an active felony arrest warrant.
Tesla dealerships, vehicles, and charging stations have faced attacks since Elon Musk, who owns Tesla, began his White House role.
The FBI announced incidents targeting Teslas have been recorded in at least nine states since January.
Trump posted a warning to offenders on his social media page: “People that get caught sabotaging Teslas will stand a very good chance of going to jail for up to twenty years, and that includes funders. We are looking for you.”
Police released a statement saying, “It does not matter what your political views are, you have no rights messing with people’s personal property.”
Police are preparing a warrant for the man’s arrest.

Newly Discovered Asteroid … Psyche !!

Seven years after the SpaceX CEO launched a Tesla Roadster into orbit, astronomers from the Minor Planet Center at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics in Massachusetts confused it with an asteroid earlier this month.
A day after the astronomers with the Minor Planet Center registered 2018 CN41, it was deleted on Jan. 3 when they revealed that it was in fact Musk’s roadster.
The center said on its website that 2018 CN41’s registry was deleted after “it was pointed out the orbit matches an artificial object, 2018-017A, Falcon Heavy Upper stage with the Tesla Roadster.

Emigrant Gap, CA — Eastbound Interstate 80 is reopening nearly 16 hours after a Tesla Semi caught fire east of Nyack early Monday, releasing toxic fumes, Cal Fire said.
Drivers were being kept off the interstate for at least half a mile in both directions because the Tesla electric vehicle’s battery was on fire, said Jason Lyman, a California Highway Patrol spokesperson. The toxic fumes are an inhalation danger, he said.
(The semi fire was only the cab of the truck, it was pulling no trailer, and the truck was well off the road in some trees burning so you know the fire had to be very intense to shut an interstate highway down for 16 hours.)
Cal Fire crews and a hazardous materials team contracted by Tesla were on the scene.
We know lithium batteries ‘feed’ on each other when they catch fire, but 16 hours to get down to 1000 degrees… wow… And untold thousands of gallons of water, plus tying up x number of fire engines.
And it happened on I-80, so there were options to get around it, but what if…
This happens in a city or in heavy traffic? Where to people go? Get out and run? If it’s in a city, what happens to the buildings adjacent to the wreck? 2000+ degrees IS going to set off other fires just from the reflected heat.
Or on a bridge, or something like the Hoover Dam? Or in the winter? I-80 gets their share of that every winter. Or in Colorado, Wyoming, the Dakotas, etc? Or Texas in the summer with fire danger?
And if this is in the EU, where the roads are smaller and packed? Same questions…
I don’t have any good answers folks.
Does anybody???

(The only thing left of the actual truck was the frame and wheels.)
Here is the link to an article but there isn’t any decent pictures of the fire.

Tesla recently started opening its Supercharger network to outside EV brands, but the influx of more vehicles to charge has put a strain on the system. To help with the surge, the automaker has started charging congestion fees of up to $1 per minute at busy Supercharger locations. The fee is intended to get drivers in and out of the charging stations faster by making it more expensive to charge to 100 percent. Some Superchargers already charge an idle fee that discourages leaving a fully- or almost fully-charged vehicle plugged in for too long, and the new congestion fee starts once a vehicle has reached 90 percent.
