 When you're so involved in yourself that you're oblivious to everything else around you.

 

I'm always amazed that some people line up on the sides of the road to watch these races, not actually that they are wanting to see the race, but that they decide the best place to watch the race is always at the spots in the course where you have a better chance of getting maimed or killed.

 

It's hard to count all the ways this is a monumental disaster in action. My first question before I even started the video was "Why is that woman on the ladder underneath a man with a chain saw?" Among other lucky breaks, she was extremely lucky that they started installing chain brakes on chain saws. This entire video clip is, what do they call it now, 'cringe.'

 

We're DOOMED ... doomed, I tell you.

 

I am not positive that skateboarders may start out with low IQ's or brain damage BUT I AM convinced that they develop it after a short time in the "sport" if you consider it a sport.
