ICE Fines Companies $8 Million For Hiring Illegal Migrants

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is set to levy fines totaling $8 million on three Colorado businesses that investigators say hired illegal migrants.
ICE released the news in an X post on Wednesday after audits on three businesses, including CCS Denver, PBC Commercial Cleaning Systems, Inc., and Green Management Denver.

The feds say that CCS Denver, Inc. will be fined $6,186,171 for knowingly employing about 87 unauthorized workers, which is rated as a 100 percent violation. Green Management Denver also reportedly perpetrated a 100 percent violation which would result in a $270,195 fine. And PBC Commercial Cleaning Systems, Inc. will be fined $1,599,510 for its 74 percent violation of employing about a dozen unauthorized workers.
“The employment of unauthorized workers undermines the integrity of our immigration system and puts law-abiding employers at a disadvantage,” said Special Agent in Charge Steve Cagen, according to KCVR-TV. “These penalties reinforce our commitment to uphold the law and promote a culture of compliance.”
The fines will put other businesses on notice that the Trump administration is serious about federal employment laws after years of federal indifference to the rules.

Rubio Explains Why Khalil And His Barbaric Ilk Aren't Welcome In The US

The Biden administration handed Trump some serious hot garbage on the foreign affairs front and Marco Rubio's role has come into sharp focus with the Russia-Ukraine peace negotiations and, especially now, with the case of raging antisemite "college student" Mahmoud Khalil.
Rubio always brings a calm demeanor and head full of facts, something that is much-needed as Democrats and their leftist foot soldiers wail and gnash their teeth over a pro-Hamas thug like Khalil getting his comeuppance.
Columbia University has been the epicenter of the antisemitic ragefests that have taken over college campuses in the aftermath of October 7, with masked degenerates taking over school buildings while singing ditties about wiping out the Jews. Fun stuff. Classes at the very expensive Columbia were disrupted, Jewish students felt threatened, with good reason, and feeble school administrators allowed it all to play out because, let's face it, they probably support the anti-Jew sentiment.
Well, all the fun came to a screeching halt earlier this week when one of Columbia's chief pro-Hamas agitators, the afore-mentioned Mahmoud Khalil, a citizen of Algeria, got a friendly visit from his local Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers. To his credit, Khalil didn't always hide behind a keffiyeh and proudly put his face front and center at the campus "protests," so he made it easy for officials to identify and detain him. In short, he FA’ed and FO.
And the White House had some fun with it.

Right on cue, Khalil's detainment and likely deportation back to Algeria brought out the histrionics from Democrats and their lefty-loon base. How dare the Trump administration detain one of their own? Since the left is always ready to agitate, they merely removed their antisemitic slurs from their protest signs and replaced them with their boilerplate, anti-Trump sentiments. Remember, these are the people who can't summon the will to applaud for a young cancer patient, but they've got all the energy in the world to advocate for a terrorist sympathizer who, as it turns out, has no right to be in the United States.
And this is something Secretary of State Rubio laid out beautifully on Wednesday, explaining to the left like they're five years old that Mr. Khalil has more than earned his one-way ticket home.

Rubio is crystal-clear in his messaging here: the left can melt down all it wants over this guy, but the days of coddling extremists, especially those making life hell on U.S. college campuses, are over. This is just the beginning of the detaining and deporting, and Democrats bemoan it merely because these bad actors make up their base and their base is about to shrink even more.

Trump’s Reviving Policy Of Detaining Illegal Migrants With Children

In 2021, the Biden administration ended the practice of detaining migrants if they entered the U.S. with children in tow.
Millions of migrants viewed Biden’s pause of detaining families as a signal that if they had a child with them, it would mean automatic entry into the U.S. The Biden policy caused an explosion of trafficking in children as human smugglers began placing children with groups of migrants to make it appear that they were a family unit.
On Thursday, Immigration and Customs Enforcement announced that it was going back to detaining families with children, and several are already in custody, CBS News reported.
“We aren’t going to ignore the rule of law,” said Department of Homeland Security spokeswoman Tricia McLaughlin.
The policy of detaining families was first put in place in 2014 during the Barack Obama presidency, but it was suspended during the Biden era.
The Trump administration also announced the plan to reopen a facility with a 2,400-migrant capacity in South Texas that was shut down by Biden.
The South Texas Family Residential Center in Dilley, Texas, is being revamped and will serve as the location for migrant families detained for deportation, according to the Texas Tribune.

Mass Criminal Invader Raid In Liberty County, Texas

This raid took place in Colony Ridge. 

Liberty County officials put the number of residents in Colony Ridge somewhere between 75,000 to 100,000. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement on Tuesday said more than 100 people were arrested during an operation the day before in a sprawling, majority Latino housing development outside of Houston — but only released information about one of the arrests. An ICE spokesperson in Houston released information about one arrest: 39-year-old Florentin Chevez-Luna, who had been deported three times, according to ICE. He was arrested on a warrant for alleged repeated sexual abuse of a minor from November 2008 to November 2016, according to ICE.
Colony Ridge has drawn the ire of Texas Republicans — from anti-immigration activist groups to state lawmakers — for years for allegedly selling land to undocumented people. Some critics of the development claimed that it was overrun by cartel crime, an allegation that has been disputed by local and state police.
The U.S. Department of Justice under the Biden administration sued Colony Ridge’s developers for running an alleged predatory lending scheme. The lawsuit alleged the developers lured Latino homebuyers into high-interest, seller-financed mortgages that many defaulted on — then sold the same properties to other buyers.
Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, a Trump ally, also sued the developers over similar allegations.
The developers have denied wrongdoing, and both lawsuits remain pending.

MSNBC Settles $30 Million Defamation Suit

MSNBC is set to write a large check after the network chose to settle a $30 million defamation lawsuit. Multiple hosts were caught up in the scandal, including Rachel Maddow, Chris Hayes, and Nicole Wallace, all of which repeated the lie that a doctor was performing "mass hysterectomies" at an ICE facility under the Trump administration.
Georgia gynecologist Dr. Mahendra Amin was the subject of the malicious falsehood after two MSNBC reporters used a "whistleblower" named Dawn Wooten as the basis for a story. Her lack of credibility was apparently not an issue for the left-wing network, and numerous on-air personalities did segments dubbing Amin as the "uterus collector." All of this was meant to compare the Trump administration to nazi Germany, suggesting detained illegal immigrants were being medically abused.

 

The judge in the case had already signaled that MSNBC was going to lose big at the previously scheduled April trial, which no doubt led to their sudden desire to settle.
 
Despite misgivings about Wooten’s credibility, MSNBC continued with stories that portrayed Dr. Amin as a virtual Dr. Mengele. Critics charged that the story was irresistible for the channel because it combined reproductive health, immigration, and social equity issues. Whatever the reason, hosts and executives set aside their doubts and ran stories that made Dr. Amin an infamous figure throughout the country.
Judge Lisa Godbey Wood (S.D. Ga.) found that the stories were false in claiming that Dr. Amin performed “hysterectomies that were unnecessary, unauthorized, or even botched.” She also found that MSNBC may have published the reports knowing that the allegations were false or with reckless disregard for the truth.

Here's part of what the judge wrote in her summary judgment.
Multiple statements are verifiably false. The undisputed evidence has established that: (1) there were no mass hysterectomies or high numbers of hysterectomies at the facility; (2) Dr. Amin performed only two hysterectomies on female detainees from the ICDC; and (3) Dr. Amin is not a “uterus collector.” The Court must look to each of the statements in the context of the entire broadcast or social media post to assess the construction placed upon it by the average viewer. Doing so, the undisputed evidence establishes that multiple NBC statements are false.
The Court emphasized that “it does not matter that NBC did not make these accusations directly, but only republished the whistleblower letter’s allegations. If accusations against a plaintiff are “based entirely on hearsay,” “[t]he fact that the charges made were based upon hearsay in no manner relieves the defendant of liability. Charges based upon hearsay are the equivalent in law to direct charges.”
…the focus of these three broadcasts was not on unnecessary or unconsented-to “medical procedures.” The focus was on “mass hysterectomies” and “high numbers of hysterectomies,” performed without necessity and consent, at the facility. This is reinforced by MSNBC’s own headlines: “WHISTLEBLOWER: HIGH NUMBER OF HYSTERECTOMIES AT ICE DETENTION CTR.” and “COMPLAINT: MASS HYSTERECTOMIES PERFORMED ON WOMEN AT ICE FACILITY.”

It is not expected that any disciplinary measures will be handed down to Maddow, Hayes, Wallace, or the written journalists involved. CNN was recently found liable for defamation in a case involving a man trying to rescue American citizens during the disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal. If anything, host Jake Tapper, who repeated the falsehoods on air, has only doubled down in his faux self-righteousness. You can expect the aforementioned MSNBC hosts to do the same, going right back to musing about "truth" even as they mislead their audiences for political gain.
