Scott Jennings And Bill Maher On Trump's Riyadh Speech

(Re: Bill Maher. Don’t care for him, but even a blind squirrel finds a nut from time to time.)

President Donald Trump gave a stirring speech in Saudi Arabia this week of what might be termed an outline of the "Trump Doctrine," a revival of peace through strength, but recognizing that you don't always have to be interventionist.

https://x.com/RapidResponse47/status/1922322254622343286

"Before our eyes, a new generation of leaders is transcending the ancient conflicts and tired divisions of the past and forging a future where the Middle East is defined by commerce, not chaos," the president said, "where it exports technology, not terrorism; and where people of different nations, religions, and creeds are building cities together, not bombing each other out of existence — we don't want that."
He skewered those who failed, saying that, "in the end, the so-called 'nation builders' wrecked far more nations than they built, and the interventionists were intervening in complex societies that they did not even understand themselves. They told you how to do it, but they had no idea how to do it themselves."
In that, you can see how ridiculous the "dictator" talk about Trump is. He's the man of the Abraham Accords, who brought more peace in the Middle East, who's trying even now to bring peace to Ukraine. But he's also the guy who will act with strength and take out people who attack us; he will put America first.

How unique was that speech? Even Bill Maher thought it was a radically different take, on HBO's "Real Time" show on Friday, which included guest Scott Jennings.
Jennings then went on to say how we [the Republicans] had always been "war and peace," that Trump had changed it to "peace and war."

"He talks about peace more than he talks about war. He's still hawkish enough to bomb people who need to be bombed like the Houthi rebels," Jennings said. He's "Peace through Strength," like Reagan.
Jennings continued, "Putting peace ahead of war is pretty popular with the American people." That got big applause from Maher's audience, which Jennings termed a seismic shift.
It's not just foreign policy where Trump is bringing transformative change in policy, bringing the government back to reality and more in touch. You can also see it by moving the FBI out of its ivory tower in D.C. and to middle America.
Peace through strength, and getting more in touch with what Americans want. It's hard to argue with that as a doctrine.

Bill Maher Vs Neil deGrasse Tyson - The Headline Should Read

Bill Maher Has A Hard Time Accepting The Fact That Neil deGrasse Tyson, Who Is, In Reality, An Arrogant Bitch, Who Pretends To Be More Than An Astrophysicist, Can’t Understand Science In Regard To Biology.
Actual headline:
Bill Maher Loses It When Lib Scientist Refuses to Admit Men Have Advantage Over Women in Sports.

(I personally cannot stand NDT. He pretends to be an expert in things he has no educational background in and he acts like an asshole when he is called out on his ignorance of the subject matter.)

"Real Time" host Bill Maher lost his cool during an exchange with liberal scientist Neil deGrasse Tyson when the latter couldn't bring himself to admit that, scientifically speaking, men have an advantage over women in sports.
Maher and the famed astrophysicist engaged in a conversation regarding Laura Helmuth, the chief editor of Scientific American magazine. Helmuth was forced to resign after posting unhinged comments about supporters of President-elect Donald Trump on the liberal social media wasteland known as Bluesky.
The comments were less what you would expect from an actual scientific American and more what one would see out of your typical quintuple-vaccinated owner of 14 cats.
Helmuth referred to Trump's supporters as "the meanest, dumbest, most bigoted" individuals while lamenting that her generation is "so full of f**king fascists."
But that wasn't Maher's main problem. No, the more significant issue to him was an article in the magazine that stated, "inequity between male and female athletes" is "a result, not of inherent biological differences between the sexes, but of biases in how they are treated in sports."
"That's nuts," Maher observed, adding that such ridiculous notions are "why the Democrats lost the election."
Tyson laughed off the suggestion, accusing Maher of finding a reason the resistance party got shellacked in the elections "every 20 minutes."
“First of all, you don’t watch this show, so you don’t know — It’s okay, but you talk as if you do, and you f**king don’t. That’s okay, just don’t bulls**t me," Maher fired back. "That’s the one thing people can never do on this show is bulls**t me."
The comedian-turned-political pundit proceeded to urge Tyson to "engage with the idea here."
"What I’m asking is Scientific American is saying basically that the reason why an NBA — WNBA team — can’t beat the Lakers is because of societal bias.”

https://x.com/Rusty_Weiss/status/1860683775547408422?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1860683775547408422%7Ctwgr%5E18eb40bb592ca7215fa9bbf99fcc20c2c85be8b6%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fredstate.com%2Frusty-weiss%2F2024%2F11%2F24%2Fwatch-bill-maher-loses-it-when-lib-scientist-refuses-to-admit-men-have-advantage-over-women-in-sports-n2182415

“Why can’t you just say this is not scientific and Scientific American should do better?!” an exasperated Maher pressed.
Tyson pivoted, noting that Helmuth was out of a job. But Maher reminded him that her rant wasn't what he was taking exception to — it was the magazine's non-scientific bent on something so obvious to one's own eyes.
“Well, I’m going to file you under ‘part of the problem,'" Maher quipped, prompting gasps and laughter from the crowd.
If you thought the comedian and the astrophysicist set off fireworks comparable to a supernova during that exchange, you should have seen them continue to argue during the show’s "Overtime" segment.
Tyson prodded Maher by discussing vaccines, which he claims the medical field is 99 percent unanimous on. That discussion broke down when the scientist asserted he wasn't quite sure if Maher believed "science matters."
“Sometimes you don’t sound that way. That’s what worries me!” he said.
Maher cut him down immediately, calling back to the "men in sports" debate: "Actually, you’re the guy who doesn’t understand why the WNBA team can’t beat the Lakers, so I don’t know, you’re supposed to be the scientist, and you couldn’t even admit that!"
"This is not your field; you’re not a doctor.”
It's unclear if Tyson was able to identify the truck that just ran him over. Maher isn't always right, but when it comes to extreme leftists pushing a woke, anti-women agenda, he definitely gets it.
Scientific American, by contrast, does not.
As our colleague Jennifer Oliver O'Connell wrote in 2021, Scientific American teamed up with Dr. Anthony Fauci to sow the seeds of doubt during the pandemic and put the final "nails in the coffin of Science."
She points out that this was simply a continuation of "increasingly leftist and non-scientific bent over the last few decades."
All of that came to a head when, just weeks before the presidential election, Scientific American claimed without evidence that Kamala Harris would bring a "lifelong familiarity with Science" to the White House.
The entire premise was that because Harris' mother was a scientist, she, too, must be compelled by science.

Maher ended the exchange with Tyson by reminding him again that he is not a doctor and joking, "When I have a goiter on Uranus, I’ll call you."
It was a joke meant to defuse the situation, but the tension was rather obvious.

Maher Embarrasses Hostin With the FACTS of Hamas’s Hatred for Jews.

Comedian Bill Maher completely embarrassed the staunchly racist and anti-Semitic co-host of ABC’s The View, Sunny Hostin (the descendant of slave owners) on Tuesday with the facts of Hamas’s anti-Semitism while they spared over the Israel-Hamas War. Hostin repeatedly questioned if Maher cared about civilian lives, to which he left the audience stunned when he said the solution was to “stop attacking Israel.”
Venting his frustrations with many on the progressive left, Maher lamented: “It's just astounding to me that they can't tell the good guys from the bad guys. I mean, just morally.”
He told them to “just live in [pre-war] Gaza for a day” and that Hamas would not tolerate their liberal values. “Trust me, you would go running and screaming and begging to live in Tel Aviv, a place that has your values,” he implored them.
Maher called out people like Hostin who ridiculously claimed Israel was an “apartheid” state by noting the “gender apartheid” in Gaza “and a lot of majority Muslim countries around the world.” He even got support from co-hosts Joy Behar and Alyssa Farah Griffin on that point.
Hostin then chimed in to spew the debunked statistic that most of the people killed in the war were innocent women and children. She tried to grill Maher with that false stat and the actions of hypocritical international organizations who target Israel, and Maher told her off. (No, he didn’t, he just corrected her … I hate massive exaggerations.)
“So, Hamas needs to be destroyed because they are a terrorist organization who say openly that they want to commit genocide on the Jewish people, on the state of Israel. That's what ‘from the river to the sea’ means,” he explained to her.
The history lesson continued with the comedian recalling that Hamas had “started five wars since they were given that land back. They could have chosen to turn that place into any place they wanted to and they took a lot of money that they took from the international community and they spent it on bombs and guns and building tunnels.”
Hostin was embarrassed and backed into a corner, so she defaulted to asking again if her guest was “concerned for the innocent lives?” Of course, the implication was that his impassioned defense of Israel meant he wasn’t.
“Of course, everybody is,” he exclaimed. “But that's what happens in a war. Here's a way to stop that: Stop attacking Israel!”
With Maher staring down Hostin, there was a moment of silence as the cast and the audience sat stunned before the latter erupted in applause.

Local (Nasty) Liberal, Bill Maher, Comes to Brave, Stunning Realization That Sexualizing Children Is Wrong

—Disinformation Expert Ace
I try not to link Bill Maher. He's a nasty liberal. Once in a while he realizes things we've known our whole lives. Whoop-de-do.
But the below monologue is important. He says a few unsayable things, as far as liberals are concerned.
He has said a few things along these lines before. He noted, before, that it is not uncommon in Hollywood for a couple to have two or even three "trans" children, and pointed out that this statistical impossibility is certainly more about parental preference than a child's realization that he was "born in the wrong body."
Three times in a row you gave birth to children who were "born in the wrong body"? What are the odds?!
The odds are zero. This is impossible, flat-out, no asterisk.
But now he says a lot more:
He says that Ron DeSantis was right to fight wokeness and the sexualization of children.
He says there is a gay agenda to make heterosexuality seem like a bad choice for kids and coach them into making the right choice.
He says that teachers "entrap" kids into being gay or trans by suggesting it to them. He says that if you deny this, you must not be watching TikTok, then plays a couple of clips of teachers stating that they're preaching homosexuality.
He says that Hollywood has a lot of pedophiles in it and they're tolerated by liberals.
He says Disney is the successor company, after Nickelodeon, as the main company sexualizing children.
He points out that some liberal women are hypersexualizing their children for social media currency.
He says the left would defend "child f***ing" just because the "wrong people" are against it.
And he says that drag queen story hour is inappropriate, and that it is for the benefit of drag queens (and, I'd mention, leftwing white women looking to score wokeness points) and not children.
Here are a couple of quotes:
"A 2014 CNN report discovered that at least 35 Disney employees had been arrested for sex crimes against children. And in 2021, Disney child star Alyson Stoner confessed she only narrowly survived the toddler-to-trainwreck pipeline. The next year, child star Cole Sprouse told The New York Times that young actresses at the Disney Channel were heavily sexualized from an early age," he said.
Maher pointed out that Brian Peck, the dialogue coach who sexually abused Nickelodeon star Drake Bell, went to prison for 16 months -- and upon release was hired by Disney for a children's series.
"Oh, for pedophiles in Hollywood. It's a small world, after all," the comedian deadpanned. "DeSantis wasn't wrong! But we're so tribal now, the left will overlook child-f--ing if the guy from the wrong party calls it out."
"I've said it before, wokeness is not an extension of liberalism anymore. It's more often taking something so far that it becomes the opposite," he said.
Maher continued: "Teaching kids not to hate or judge those who are different. Great!...But at a certain point, inclusion becomes promotion. And contrary to current progressive dogma, children aren't miniature adults wise beyond their years, they're morons."

Whether you like Ann Coulter or hate her, she speaks the basic truth of mass shootings, one of the guidelines of liberal journalism, “If it were a White man shooting, we’d know.” I think I’ll start calling this “Coulter’s Law” from now on just to be able to piss off more liberals, rofl.
It’s true, ‘Common Sense’ is a Superpower in the liberal world.

Here’s another part of that interview. The best thing to remember about Van Jones is, and I know it’s been overused but, if his lips are moving, he’s lying like a lying motherfucker … period … mike drop. (Yeah, that’s been overused also but it’s the first time I’ve ever used it so, nyah, nyah, nyah, nyah, nyah …)

Longtime Democratic strategist James Carville mocked the far-left wing of the Democratic Party as "stupid" and "naive" while appearing on Bill Maher's "Club Random" podcast Sunday.
(Carville is bat-shit crazy and Maher is just a liberal asshole but once in a great while even the bat-shit crazies and the liberal assholes pull their heads out of their anuses to gulp a breath of air and see the light. Then they usually shove their heads back up their asses.)
"I find the left to be just annoying," Carville told Maher. "The western far left is habitually the most stupid, naive people you can imagine. They come up with these really goofy constructs and it's all about feeling good about yourself."
Maher agreed and criticized progressives for demanding society cater to their feelings. "If your feelings are hurt, that’s more important than free speech," he argued.
Carville said he found them "annoying and silly" after Maher mocked the notion of "pregnant men."
"Most people don't even know what they're talking about," Carville said. "The identity left are silly. They're not evil, they're just goofy."
The Democratic strategist argued that White leftists had hijacked the term "woke" and driven voters away from the party.
"What happened is, overeducated, coastal White people, got ahold of the word and [like] they do with everything else, they completely f---ed it up and p----- everybody in the country off," he said bluntly. "If we could just get the humanities faculty at Amherst [College] to shut the f--- up, we'd be a lot better off."
