I think my butcher has been ripping me off. I never get that much meat when we buy a cow to get butchered. It looks like that one is kosher too, although it looks like there may be a ham hanging?
Somebody gave my wife one of those. her lap cat hissed every time he walked past the thing. She was gonna take it down but it was just too entertaining.
That arborist is lucky to still have both hands. Don't take anything for granted when you have a chain saw in your hands. If I had been in that position, I would have let it go.
I wonder if my wife can learn that move ...
Popeye took out a cow, so it's probably a brisket that's hanging, not a ham . Interesting that they labeled it in Hebrew, athough it was from Fleischer studios !
ReplyDeleteYes ma'am, I understand it was a cow and I understand, having been present at many a cow butchering, that hams do not come from cows, BUT it is a cartoon and I don't know if the people that made that cartoon know that much about hams and briskets. I do know I've never seen a round brisket with a bone in the center though. I actually didn't know it was from Fleischer so that may explain the kosher stamp.
DeleteChuck Connors was pretty badass. At 6’5” he briefly played for the Celtics and had pro offers from both MLB and the NFL.
ReplyDeleteI had NO idea about the sports. I really liked him in the Rifleman because of the gentle badass role he had. He was so understanding but strict in a fatherly way with Mark, his show son. I don't know if that was the script or just the way he was. He was in so many movies and shows. He had amazing talent.

ReplyDeleteWith my health, I'm not gonna live much longer anyway. She doesn't look at my blog. I show her every day what I post in an abbreviated manner, the things I think she's enjoy. She just doesn't see everything. I do get her approval for some of the stuff but you know I'm not that risque on this site.
