When Brown Comes To Town ..

Suffering from a massive bowel flush this morning. Haven't ate boiled peanuts in a LONG time and a friend brought some over yesterday with beer. Paying the price I guess, for overdoing it. I'll try to post but downtime is mandatory this morning.

    1. You're right, Dan. But it gave me an opportunity to use the goldfish/diarrhea meme.

  4. As a nurse, there is no such thing as TMI. And I am not squeamish when it comes to talk concerning bodily functions. Drink plenty of fluids and get well soon.

    1. Thanks Sandy. I probably was being a little gross ... it was on purpose.
And the extra fluids have gotten me all straightened out. I'm doing much better now.

    2. Another nurse friend of mine gave me the same advice this morning. I've been hydrating all day.

    3. I was thinking that you would have said the same thing about lots of fluids. I'm almost back to normal. Maybe tomorrow. I just feel drained ... lol.

    5. Well ... just so you know ... your word carries a lot of weight. I respect it.
When you're not trying to be a turd, joking around, that is.

    6. Are you saying I am "weighty?" Being a turd is just a synonym with sarcasm and being an asshole.

    7. Saying you're "weighty" would just be parroting what Phil and Filthie say about you (sarc). And I thought it was a point of pride with the Bustednuckles crowd to be sarcastic assholes?
      TURD!

    1. I used to boil and eat peanuts all the time. I don't eat them that much anymore because people don't make them the way I like them.
I like the younger peanuts, not the full grown ones and I like them saltier than a lot of people do.
That's the reason I screwed up and ate too many this time. The guy who brought them over, likes them exactly like I do. We ate WAY TOO MANY peanuts.
      Never had them fried.

  6. Damn son, I leave you alone for a couple of days and all hell breaks free(literally) and over boiled peanuts? Now, if had been sauerkraut and spicy brats, beers, and boiled eggs and BBQ beans I would have stood and saluted ya, I have hung my head in shame and question life in general.

    1. Randolph, I'm glad at least one person got a chuckle out of that post.
In all truthfulness, I felt really drained, tired, from the repercussions of my gluttony the other day BUT those boiled peanuts were PERFECT. Not full grown, very tender, a few 'pops', pretty salty, with some ice cold Yuengling to wash it down with, chatting with an old friend I haven't seen in a while ..... yes, it was worth it.
