Trump Throws Pearl Harbor In The Mix With Japanese PM Sitting Right There

Trump don't have no filter, LOL.

I imagine the reporter who asked that question is being shamed right now.

    1. And he says things without any shame ... some things that should have been said way before now.

    2. Having no shame is not a positive attribute.

    3. If you've nothing to be ashamed of, having no shame is a perfect attitude.
Making ignorant comments just to be argumentative is not a positive attitude.

  2. He's the perfect entertainer, and has the WWF Hall of Fame entry to prove it.

Either he pulls out of the ME before US troops get slaughtered and leaves the whole area a smoking mess and much of the world reliant on US/Russian energy resources, or it goes hot in this nationwide strip mall on magic dirt.

Those are the two main forks left at this point, so at least it will be entertaining either way.

    1. He'll pull out of the ME when it's time.
It's sad to me that you actually anticipate US troops getting "slaughtered", and if that's "entertaining" to you, you suck.

    2. He's so proud of his statement, he won't use his name.

    3. Yes sir, I get a lot of those now.
Too ignorant to know they're ignorant.

    5. But... He isn't a politician. That's why he got elected. A vast majority of Americans voted for him because he's not a polished traitor, oops I meant to say politician... I believe that he's a step ahead and a cut above the rest of presidential candidates.

    6. Fred, I agree with you totally, but you're wasting your time trying to talk sense to a asshole. I'm deleting his comment as usual.

    7. With most of the precursor chemicals for pharmaceuticals and a third of world fertilizer as well as all the other third and fourth order effects that will be felt, I hope nobody here os on meds or a tight budget.

    8. MN Steel, so it would have been better to let Iran get a nuclear weapon than to put up with some higher prices for 6 months mol?
That's some seriously short term, almost backwards thinking.

    9. Iran having nukes is as effective as Nork nukes and Israeli nukes, two countries that don't get attacked by neighboring countries with disputes. We've been (red line on Acme bomb) close to Iran having a nuke for 40 years, India and Pakistan are still existing with nukes, and The Samson Option© has kept a zerg-rush of inbred goat-and-child rapists (without Tay Sachs) from going too far.

Not only was this just like Pearl Harbor (sneak attack while negotiating) it also has the added bonus of on-going decapitation strikes and a non-nuclear party that is now leaderless with 31 separate military district command structures and final orders to escalate as needed.

If it's war to the knife, it's also knife to the hilt, and nobody escapes a knife fight without grievous injury. This is an existential fight between two parties, now everyone in the region has been dragged in, and many people have no problem with the US paying a large chunk of wealth and blood to police another blood-feud.

Sounds like we'll be the Belle of the Ball after expending a large portion of advanced weapons with a 5-year-plus replenish time. Good thing everyone around the world loves the US government and would never kick us after of bestest ally drops canned sunshine on Tehran because they keep getting missiled.

    10. You need to lay of the Red Bull if you want me to follow your comments.
We also have different ideas, some huge differences, some not, about a lot of what's going on over there so I'm gonna leave the comment but I'm NOT going to try to help you deal with your ... issues.
      Have a great day.

  3. I think that statement was entirely truthful and relevant and appropriate, Japan did pull a sneak attack, but the upper echelons of our government knew they were going to attack by intercepting their codes and cables. if any body should shoulder the shame is Roosevelt and his surviving family and the surviving families of officials that knew and wanted the war with Japan. Starting a war with subterfuge of the American people is pure treason.

    1. If everything I've read and heard about our governments fore knowledge of the Pearl Harbor attack, the history books need to be rewritten and Roosevelt and those who knew and ignored the warnings should be listed as traitors.
I also thought Trump's comment was truthful, relevant and humorous, all at the same time.
