  1. Tis a crime even when many available to let a GTO or any muscle car get that filthy!

    1. Around here where I live it's an inevitable thing. More than half the roads in the county are sugar sand or dirt. When I was young and drove some nicer classic cars, we just had to run by a gas station or a friend's house whenever we got to town to hose the car off. You couldn't keep 'em clean for long, though.

  4. Had a car, way back, that the gas cap was behind the license plate like that. Even in the 80's people would look over at me like I was an idiot trying to fill the car that way. Almost forgot about that.

    1. I've owned several cars that fueled behind the tag. It seemed weird and ugly to me when they changed it so it messed up the looks down the side of the car with the gas door ... and the fact that I might drip gas down the side of my car.
