Mexican Cartel Boss Killed - Deadly Violence Widespread - Americans Warned To Shelter In Place

The deadly violence sparked by the military killing of an infamous cartel leader has now spread across at least two-thirds of Mexico’s states, as American citizens near the border were warned to shelter in place.

At least 20 of Mexico’s 31 states have seen violent clashes in the wake of the death of the country’s most wanted man, Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes, head of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG).

Cervantes — better known as “El Mencho” — died in custody Sunday, shortly after being captured by Mexican special forces in Tapalpa, Jalisco state.
The notorious drug kingpin was seriously injured in a firefight between military commandos and his bodyguards, and died from his injuries en route to Mexico City.
Cartel members responded to his death by declaring war on the Mexican government of socialist Claudia Sheinbaum, shutting down the country’s second-largest city, Jalisco’s state capital Guadalajara, as they engaged in running gun battles with authorities.
Violence spread quickly along the west coast, reaching up to the US border with California. At least 30 people have been declared dead, with more feared.
Terrifying footage from across Mexico shows torched buildings and vehicles, while panicked lines of tourists are seen trying to flee the country at multiple airports.

  1. Damn, and I had reservations in Guadalajara! I wanted to enjoy Mexican hospitality and good tequila and scantly clad vacationers...

    1. I wonder if this will give Trump impetus to invade old Mexico and kick butt and don't take names. A two front war might stretch us thin.

    2. You might should rethink those reservations. I think this may be a evolving situation in Mexico. And from what I'm hearing on the nooz channels is that Trump is most likely going to be offering 'assistance' to Shineyballs, or whatever her name is, for a while.
I'm kind of fond of quality tequila and scantily clad wenches also. Delay your plans for a couple of months and let me know.

    3. I'm only joshing you about the reservation, I wouldn't step my pinkie toe over the border line.

    4. I figured. I've been across the border years ago but I wouldn't dare risk it any more.

  2. Used to be a regular thing to go across the border for a day trip here in Texas. We'd do it every several years. My father-in-law ran a trucking business and had quite a few contacts, knew the best restaurants, all that jazz. We'd hit the Mercado and buy a bunch of touristy stuff and then get some great food and booze. I probably still have a few poncho's stuffed in the back of the closet. Bought a bunch of silver jewelry too, they sold it by the pound. My wife has probably given it all away by now, she only wears gold (Heaven forbid she wears the cheap stuff). Haven't done that in maybe 20 years now, just too much shit to be able to relax and enjoy anymore. Plenty of good Tex-Mex food on this side of the border anyway.

    1. Before she became my wife, Miss Schmidt lived in California and her and her friends would load up and make day trips across the border and pick up a lot of the same stuff you mentioned. Food, booze, medicines, jewelry, and touristy experiences. She actually loves silver and turquoise.
She said she could pick up large bottles of real vanilla and penicillin for almost nothing.
