How weak minded do you have to be to let a computer algorithm or bot convince you to do ANYTHING ... much less murder/suicide.
I don't mess around with any of the AI programs, maybe I would if I knew anything about them but I don't care enough ... to care.
I have to think the suicides would have eventually done the deed anyway, regardless of the AI interaction. Some people are just damaged. IDK, I often wonder how this would work out in the past. Like, I've spent 16 hours a day working in a coal mine just to survive, if you want to kill yourself, do it over there where we don't have to bother with the corpse. Life used to be a bit more brutal.
ReplyDeleteAs for AI, they were trying to implement it at work right before I retired. The example they used was "you can just import this long document into ChatGPT and it'll summarize it for you". My response was why wouldn't I just read the document myself and then summarize the parts I think are important? Jeez, it's not that hard. So yeah, not really seeing too much benefit.
Dan, you're right about a certain percentage of these suicides. The left and the liberals have these kids minds so screwed up they don't have a chance to live a normal childhood, or a life, for that matter. Getting involved in AI is a serious mixed bag of good vs evil.
DeleteI don't want to use it or get involved. I'm gonna leave it for others to deal with until I don't have a choice ... and it looks like that's gonna be sooner rather than later ... sigh.
nature always finds a way to thin the weak from a population, its Darwinism, nature.
DeleteNature needs to up it's game, imo.
