Lily white Rachel Dolezal, or as she currently calls herself, Nkechi Amare Diallo, made a career out of pretending to be black so as to advance Afrocentricity. She achieved the positions of NAACP chapter president and instructor in Africana studies at Eastern Washington University before her fraud was revealed. Now the bill has come due for her pseudo-African appearance.
Dolezal, widely known for presenting herself as Black despite being white, revealed she developed stage 1 malignant melanoma after years of tanning to darken her skin. She linked her diagnosis to prolonged sun exposure and a childhood without sunscreen, consistent with CDC findings that most skin cancers result from ultraviolet overexposure. This underscores how aesthetic-driven decisions can lead to significant health risks.

Like transsexuals, Dolezal reminds us that we are what God made us. Attempts to transform ourselves into something different never end well.
