This "Birthright Citizenship" Supreme Court Case Is NOT Sounding Good To Me.

Hearing the arguments yesterday, even the conservative justices almost had me going into mourning for the Founding Fathers and the original intent of the Constitution. There are only 2 or 3 justices who are going to vote in favor of America on this one. I hope I have to eat these words.

  1. That's a damn shame. It'd be nice if we actually had adults in charge. At some point it's gonna take bullets to straighten all this shit out.

  3. The SCOTUS, like Congress, was bought and paid for a long time ago.

  4. Like it or not the Constitution is clear when it comes to birthright citizenship. Anyone born in the United States is a citizen with some very limited exceptions.

The good news is that the constitution is not set in stone. If you don't like you just need to amend it. We have done it before with the 18th and 21st amendments. We just need to amend the constitution to change the definition of who is a citizen.

Also you should all be very happy that the SCOTUS is acting this way. If a constitutional amendment could be nullified with an administrative act (a executive order is little more than a memo) then the 2nd amendment would be next in line next time there is a Democrat in the white house.

    1. Like it or not, it's not that simple, Mark.
But I'm out of time for today so I'll try to elaborate tomorrow ... or maybe not. I'm not required to spoon feed this shit to everybody who comments here.
