Not a good idea for a Justice to give this kind of speech.
ReplyDeleteThe next time a progressive plaintiff has a case in front of the SCOTUS they will be able to successfully claim that Thomas has a negative view of progressives and that therefore he should recuse from the case

I think if there were a problem giving this kind of a speech, Justice Thomas would know that. I heard nothing in the entire speech that would give a legal team any ground to ask him to recuse himself.
