It will only happen if she gets in the way of the Democratic (sic) machine. Witness Swalwell. They had the dirt of on him for a very long time, but as long as he wasn't a threat to Democratic (sic) control, they kept it bottled up and left him alone. The L.A. Times had dirt on Obama in 2008, but refused to print it (since he was their guy).
DeleteAmen to all of that. I know it's cliche, but I will continue to hope for the best and expect the worst. The GOP has, unfortunately, taught me that they will indeed let a Democratic crisis go to waste. They NEVER take advantage of these opportunities that are just handed to them. It's like our side wants to lose. The Democrats would be stumbling all over themselves to banish a Republican for all the shit she's involved in.
DeleteTo be fair, it is really easy to make mistakes like that when speaking in public. I hate to defend her, but I will be consistent in my belief that the occasional gaffe might be funny, but don't take it too seriously (which I'm sure that's where you're at with this post). If it is some Biden level mumbling stuff, that's a whole other level. But she did catch and correct it, so whatever. No big deal IMO.
ReplyDeleteThe bigger problem is that she's using the WWII internment camps as an excuse not to deport illegals. Which is total BS. And besides, we don't really know where the loyalties of the Japs were back then. Or the fact that it was a Dem regime that put them in camps, too. I have German family members in South Texas (sadly passed on by now) who remember govt men coming out to their farms and talking to the families about the war. Each and every one of them said they left Germany for a fucking reason, and that they were 100% loyal to the US of A. But we also know that more than a few Germans living here went back to Europe and fought for the Nazi's too. It was a reasonably prudent thing to do, given the scope of a "WORLD war". And deporting illegals is also necessary, regardless of her stupid speech.
Yeah, I pretty much disagree with everything that comes out of her muslim mouth, but yeah, it's easy to slip up when speaking. It's much easier when you're stupid and the subject is foreign to you.
