Computer Downtime

I will try to post when I can these next few days but I have been spending a lot of time on the phone with my brother getting some computer issues corrected and uploading stuff into files which will sync with the iCloud after buying more space in the iCloud. It turns out that a huge amount of stuff I had on my computer wasn't syncing and we are correcting that and trying to get everything streamlined for when I get the new computer. This way it will move to the new computer in one, hopefully, smooth move instead of me having to move a bunch of folders/files one at a time.

And those of you that know me, know I have breathing issues and talking for long periods of time wears me out. And any of you who knows computers knows that solving some computer issues over the phone requires a lot of communicating. I will be posting again on a regular basis when I get these issues under control.

  2. Take a look at Dupixent - it really cleared up my lungs. Pricey though and sometimes insurance is tough to cover. Medicare will cover it although you will hit your annual max deductible for the year in month 1.

    1. After a little research, I didn't see Dupixent recommended for emphysema, which is my affliction.

    2. ah - I have COPD. I was on the roller coaster of prednisone and antibiotics every 6 weeks for lung inflammation and shortness of breath. After my last hospitalization, they started me on Dupixent and it was like magic in how quick it started working - no more mucous and congestion.

The key for prescribing it was a high eosinophils test result at the hospital. Here is a study to get you started: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/39481660/

    1. Thanks, Tom. Problem is I'm trying to make major changes on my computer over the phone with my brother in CT and being on the phone for hours leaves me with serious headaches ... in addition to the emphysema. It's going to get better, but my blog is going to suffer for a few days because of it.
I can't stand working on computers ... the IT part of it anyway. My mind doesn't comprehend this shit.
