Two Port Authority employees traveling in the fire truck also suffered injuries, but they were not believed to be life-threatening.
The Jazz Aviation flight, which was operating on behalf of Air Canada, had about 70 passengers and four crew members on board as it landed from Montreal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport.

ReplyDeleteIt will be interesting to see where the DEI people responsible were located. Was it air traffic control, the person driving the fire truck, or the pilots?
DeleteAll I've heard so far is that Jazz Aviation has touted their dedication to DEI deviancy. Haven't heard who was what yet. In this case, I doubt we'll hear anything until the sleuths that dig into this stuff dig it out after the names come out.

Damn, getting bad to drive across a runway in a fire truck, didn't the pilots see the revolving lights and yielded?
ReplyDeleteI'm not in the middle of all that was going on but I think it would be hard not to notice the fire truck but what can you do? Would they be able to get back up before they hit. There wasn't much time when you watch the video.
DeleteThe emergency vehicle should have been paying more attention but from what I've heard they thought they had clearance across the runway ... but I NEVER trust anybody to call me clear when I'm pulling out in traffic ... I have to look myself, subconsciously.
