The Sikh owner of a London-based Indian restaurant was briefly detained by the police on Saturday, following days of controversy over his refusal to sell halal meat. Indian-origin restaurateur Harman Singh Kapoor had earlier claimed that he had become the target of Muslim protesters over his refusal to sell halal.

Kapoor had posted frequently about being threatened and intimidated by members of what he referred to as the “peaceful community” for not selling halal food.
London police won’t say why they arrested him. Maybe he said something critical of Islam online.
Kapoor’s run-ins with protesters gained wider attention in February 2026, when he shared an X post claiming that he had been forced to shut Rangrez — the restaurant he ran for 16 years — due to “ongoing online harassment, repeated disturbances and attacks by Pakistanis and a lack of proper support from the Met Police.”
Islam requires meat to be halal, meaning that animals are killed in a barbaric ritual manner. Kapoor’s Sikh faith forbids it, so he offered jhatka meat instead.

AFAIK, the cops haven';t arrested any of the rapists, even though it was Kier Starmer's job to investigate and arrest the Pakis involved in the wide-spread sexual abuse of so many girls.
ReplyDeleteToo bad he couldn't introduce halal meat of Pakistanis in his restaurant, like similar food (BBQ) in the movie, Fried Green Tomatoes. That would have been poetic justice.
I hope he has relatives that are just as determined to stick it in their face and maybe take a few of them out.
DeleteAccording to the Britons, Paki's just don't understand our culture of not raping female children, they don't know any better, the rape didn't last very long, the girl was asking for it by being out wearing normal clothing, etc. Islamist and muslims must be a seriously barbaric, mentally damaged culture.
I understand the Fried Green Tomatoes reference and I say I don't think you could prepare halal Paki with enough curry to make it edible.
