Chuck Norris has died at 86.
Norris died Thursday, in what his family described as a “sudden passing.”
“While we would like to keep the circumstances private, please know that he was surrounded by his family and was at peace,” the family said in a statement posted to social media.
While I was never a huge Norris fan, it would be ignorant to try and deny that he was a MAJOR Hollywood star and his fans were dedicated and widespread.
By all accounts a fundamentally decent guy and the subject of countless jokes. Many very funny.
ReplyDeleteOh yeah. He was a YUGE personality, actor, and good guy.
DeleteNever heard anything about him to make me dislike the guy and he had millions and millions of fans. People loved him and so did the jokes and the memes.
I just couldn't watch his movies after I saw him kick total ass on a crowd of like 50 gang members one time. May be a slight exaggeration. But I've seen movie clips where he kicked ALL THE ASSES in a entire town ... maybe another exaggeration.
I just can't watch that shit and enjoy it.
Yeah...his acting was very formulaic and simple. But it was predictable and not full of bizarre anti social nonsense. And he did have a massive fan base.
DeleteI think he was a good person, probably a good role model, just not one of my favorite actors.
DeleteI just never got caught up in the karate master craze. It's a lot like wrestling to me.
It turns out Chuck has a rematch with Bruce Lee. Chuck felt Lee had enough time to get trained up!

While the grim reaper won the day feel he has a sickle up his ass and will be having a fill in for a few weeks, who next,Keith and Willy?!
ReplyDeleteRIP Chuck.
Don't wish nothing bad on either one of those guys.
DeleteNot a RS fan.
I guess Willie always was a pretty okay guy.
I wish them both the best also, just had Chuck as a member of the group you would never think to hear of dying(wishful thinking....,I know!).Enough rough news lately,we just need some more good news for a change,eh....,perhaps some tomm.
DeleteI keep expecting to see Eastwood go any day now. R.I.P. Chuck and thanks for the entertainment and memes.
ReplyDeleteYou keep Clint's name out of this discussion ... (jk) ... boy, I'm gonna HATE the day that he goes. He is one of my top two.
DeleteAlways been a Eastwood fan.
