I can't stand the suffix -phobia when referring to islam. From here on out, I can be diagnosed as being afflicted with islamomisia.

From Ancient Greek μῖσος (mîsos, “hatred”) + -ia. First attested in the 1950s, in iatromisia (“hatred of doctors”). Devised as an alternative to the suffix -phobia, which etymologically (and clinically) denotes fear, though it is also widely used in English to denote hatred. Compare -misic (“hating something”), -misiac (“one who hates something”).
With apologies in advance, I offer the following neologism: -odiumic, derived from odium, "quality that provokes hatred; offensiveness" (from Latin odium) plus ic, "used to form adjectives from nouns with the meaning 'of or pertaining to'". Note, it may be that -odious, a suffix carefully derived from odious by prefixing a hyphen, would work better; odious means "arousing or meriting strong dislike, aversion, or intense displeasure."
I don't fear Islam. I loathe it.

Yes, that was the idea with the new term ... islamomisia. It means a hatred of islam.
DeleteI think of islam as a barbaric cult disguised as a religion ... whatever it is, it isn't based on "peace" like they try to promote. It's based on hate.
