Why would you be there in the first place. Unless you are a government operative, I can't think of a reason to be in a shithole country.

I guess some people just don't have a 'common sense' or a 'self-preservation' gene. Why would someone go to a country that will kill you for everyday things Americans do every day.

There's probably money to be made, especially in smuggling. Everyone is the hero of their own story, most don't believe bad things will happen to them.
DeleteMoney is the only reason I can think of why people would be there. To me, there's not enough money to take a chance on life lived like that.
