Amongst the evil that California's is inflicting on the fire victims is that if you don't rebuild within 2 years of the disaster, you lose your Prop-13 property tax protection; meaning your property taxes may sky-rocket as a direct result of the government dragging their feet in approving the rebuild. Of course the government that is dragging their feet is the one that directly benefits from the higher taxes.
ReplyDeleteThe fire may not of been 'their plan' BUT they are obviously going to take full advantage of it and do a massive land grab of land that has a high value. I heard that Trump is going to step in and push the regulations out of the way ... we'll see.
