If you're a fan of the asinine show called "Impractical Jokers" I hope you get stuck in one of their stupid f*cking jerkoff episodes.
I've seen the commercials. I knew it wasn't a show that I would ever give a shit about. Last night I fell asleep on the couch and I woke up and an episode of that shit was on. Before I sat up, I
heard this stupid fake laugh about every 20 seconds and I guess they
think if they laugh every 20 seconds, you might get sucked in and if
you're a low IQ person, maybe you'll want to watch. I was sitting there getting my stuff together, so I paid attention just because it was on.
That is some pathetic shit, my friends. Damn, I hope none of you that I think well of say you like this show. Sad, boring, sometimes gayish, waste of time and oxygen ... I was not impressed ... I didn't think one thing they did even rose to the point of a giggle ... nothing.

ReplyDeleteI actually think it's funny, not to the point that I'll take time out of my day to sit down and watch it. But if it happens to be on while I'm doing something else (like doom-scrolling), I'll catch bits and pieces and laugh some. Most of it is cringe comedy which I normally don't like at all, but somehow they make it work. Mostly it's filler material for the comedy network and they'll play marathons of it, alternating between marathons of "The Office" (which I personally hate), Southpark and Seinfeld. My wife keeps the TV on all day for background noise and it generally gets stuck on the comedy channel. So I've seen more than my share of that show. I'll take Impractical Jokers over The Office any day of the week.

DeleteIt was first thing this morning and I can't deal with stupidity first thing in the morning. I hate the show. HATE it. But I know that's why they have so much variety on TV. Something for everyone. 'The Office' was a one time watch for me. Never watched it again other than what I see in the commercials or something someone may post on the internet.
Our TV is on most of the time for the same reason as you. I either have it on the news or Sirius for background noise.
I respect your opinion Don but we'll have to agree to disagree this time. 'Impractical Jokers' is on my 'dumb as f*ck' list. I can't even stand to hear the commercials anymore. When I put the TV on a channel, I immediately hit the pause and do chores or whatever for 30 mins. to an hour so that when I fire the TV up again, I can skip commercials and other stuff.
Also, I wouldn't wish that you get caught up in one of their shows ... I wouldn't do that to someone I consider a worthwhile person.
