DeleteI'd love to have something like this and equip it for 2 or 3 day trips. I wouldn't want to get all the attention that this clean cut bus would get, so I'd probably give it an Earth Tone camo paint job and remove the chrome. But it would be a shame to wipe out all the work someone put into it.
Using something like this for a weekend trip or so would be perfect, place a bed in it, a couch and a small cooking area and a small bathroom and you are good to go! With that six in it you wouldn't get there quick, but it can be the journey that is important, as well as the destination.

DeleteWhen the wife and I used to do a bit of traveling, the trip was often more interesting than the destination. Like when we were running Route 66 from the middle out west, after driving one of the most fascinating twist-filled roads, we ended up going through a cool little town of Oatman. It's now just a tourist trap, but the story was interesting and the donkeys wandering all over the roads were a trip to my ole lady.

DeleteInteresting. He stuck with what is probably the original engine, but then upgraded to power steering and power brakes. At that point might as well drop a 350 in there and add A/C too.
