She is dead.
This is the moment an ICE agent shot and killed a woman in Minneapolis. We don’t know what precipitated this, regarding the woman and her vehicle, so don’t jump to too many conclusions before we get more details.
But there was an officer in front of the vehicle and an officer trying to get her out of the vehicle when she took off.
Of course Tampon Tim is now threatening to mobilize the National Guard against Federal Agents performing their lawful duties.

DeleteIt is ambiguous as to what participated this encounter as very little video just before the grey pick up pulled up as shown just prior to the woman backing up then her pulling forward. Why a cop walked in front of a vehicle that was not secured is beyond me, we were taught never get in front or the rear of a vehicle in the Army during a traffic stop or felony stop for that reason. At the minimum that cop should have been charged with reckless homicide for shooting the woman. It was bound to happen with the riots and close encounters between feds and protestors. I hope we get to be told the truth of what happened.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with you about him putting himself in the line of danger by walking in front of that vehicle. I've actually seen another video from a different angle and it does seem like the vehicle may have pushed him as it was pulling away but it is a very grainy video.
DeleteThe video makes it appear the ICE agent was in a safe position and then deliberately stepped into the path of the vehicle. Doing so nullifies any claim of "self defense". Unfortunately this happens a LOT and cops invariably get away with it. And they should not. Stupid is supposed to hurt but it doesn't generally justify the use of deadly force. I expect this will be treated like 99% of police shootings....found to be "justified" regardless of facts and evidence.
ReplyDeleteRegardless of what happens to the ICE agent, I don't think that what I THINK I saw justified a killing. They could have followed her and stopped her. But as violent as these protesters are getting towards ICE, we knew eventually some things like this are going to happen.
DeleteThe video is a lot different than what was described on Fox News. They made it sound like the officer was struck, injured, and taken to the hospital. Doesn't really look that way. I don't see justification, but then again I'm not a LEO or lawyer.
ReplyDeleteDoesn't matter though, she's still dead. She was interfering with a legal action by our govt and the more people get in the way, the more this stuff is going to happen. These protestors are getting real close to the FO part of FAFO matrix. I have a feeling a lot more of this is gonna happen. I'm definitely not one to support our gestapo, but I do want ICE to do their jobs. Kinda on the fence here.
When I heard that he was limping, (I didn't see that in any video.) and he was taken to the hospital, I immediately 'assumed' that this was done with legal reasoning. Just in case it went to the court, it would be nice to have an 'injury' to back up his story. I have NO PROOF of that and it's probably just my CYA type reaction to anything that could be construed to be different that what it actually is.
DeleteI don't wish the officer any bad juju if the story is true BUT I also don't want these paid instigators to think there is no price to pay for what she was intending to do.
