Damn that had to hurt. It would seem to me that it would be like a burn ... I can't imagine being that ignorant. I keep all of my dangling things away from anything that's rotating.
Depending on how deep the damage is to the scalp....but it will probably grow back. Just another vid proving the average person cannot see ten seconds into the future for possible consequences of their actions.
Unfortunately yes, though it will take awhile to reestablish a new root for the hair to grow from.
