It's one of those holidays meant to celebrate 'social justice' and 'diversity'. MLK was no hero. Most people have no ideas about what a womanizing jackass he was. And there are a lot of other stories that I won't list without having links to the relevant info or proof.
But I guess one of the best things about MLK was his quote which has historically triggered white liberals and black activists. It's a truth but you know, they hate the truth. And those people HATE being judged by the content of their character.

ReplyDeleteAnd I should be kicked in the ass for not recognizing it. I have it on my calendar. I just had a lot of unscheduled shit going on yesterday. My mind was on domestic problems, not the blog. We had a girl we trusted helping us here in the house and running errands and she decided to go stupid bitch on us and do some unauthorized shopping on my credit card and slip a boyfriend into the house.

All to often the only people who have the free time to assist a household that needs some help with basic chores are too ignorant to be trusted with responsibility.
DeleteThe really sad and AWESOME thing about this girl was that she was available at almost every beckon or call to do almost any kind of chore or errand and she was good about everything she did. She had broken up with a boyfriend that we had met one time previously when she was first introduced to us. During the time when she was broken up she told us so many stories about him being a total asshole we had NO thoughts that she would ever be with him again. Well a week or two ago, she started hanging out with him again. Since then, she snuck him into our house for a night. She was using my credit card for purchases I authorized until he talked her into going on a romantic weekend and when she went grocery shopping for us, he went with her and she bought over $100 of stuff for their date. Steaks, strawberries, assorted items. I was able to have the charges removed and when sh showed up Monday, we fired her. Screaming and gnashing of teeth followed. She had a great thing going and blew it. I even trusted her with one of our vehicles.

DeleteLoaning vehicles to the help, does that bring back painful memories. Three wrecked so bad there was nothing salvageable and one stolen and falsely registered in the idiots name. We couldn’t prosecute that idiot as he was a single dad with a daughter of 3 who didn’t deserve to be in our county’s child service system which was notorious. These were not entry level minimum wage jobs just irresponsible idiots

DeleteWhy I always refer to it as MiLK day... white supremist milk. I always worked an overtime shift on milk day because it was for me double time as I worked 12 hour shifts Friday, Saturday and Sunday graveyards and most of the black nurses took that day off to wail and twerk and bemoan they lost a good man. I thought it appropriate to profit off of a womanizer, marxist commie.

DeleteThe funny part is that had he lived, no one alive today would remember that speech or repeat that quote. He'd be at about the same level of respect as Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, or Bill Cosby - i.e. absolute zero by most normal people. He was just another grifter hoping to make it big on the civil rights scam. He didn't become a legend until after he died.

ReplyDeleteThe problem I found with that article was that MLK was treated as he held some kind of moral high ground. It was confirmed after his death that he was a rampant womanizer and actually watched a woman get raped in a hotel room where he was and did nothing. There were several other disparaging rumors about him that I won't get into because none of them were ever 'proven'.
