Just starting today after several days of bots swarming the blog, I now cannot respond directly to comments on the blog. I have to make a separate response comment. So if you check the box to get notified for responses, you won't get that from me, not intentionally however. If anyone has any ideas how to resolve or check the settings, I am open to suggestions.
I also think I found a setting that allows people to comment without having a Google account. I don't know for sure. If you are able to make a comment without having a Goggle account, please give me a heads-up in the comment.
Thanks you guys/gals for all you suffer through with my inexperience. I am thankful to all of you.
I have the same problem when responding to comments on my blog, in order to enable me to respond I found I need to go into Settings-privacy & security under tracking blocking, select "custom" to enable some cookies that allow me to respond.... revert to standard to continue blocking most tracking cookies after you are done.. yea PITA... ReplyDeleteMike in Maine. I must be on the novice/beginner version of Blogger. I don't even see where I can access anything to do with privacy& security in the Settings. But I really appreciate the info. I guess I'll see how long I can stand to work like this and then say F*ck Blogger. I wish I could afford to use another platform.
